    The cruisers carrying the DD guns should at least have the best possible / equal range those guns sported when mounted on a contemporary destroyer in game OR better then that since on a bigger and better platform, SO for Smolensk that would be 12.3 km that Groz has (current range of 13.8 is fine with range module option) and for Atlanta/Flint I think its 12.9 from Fletcher/Sims

    Some of those flaws would be much less if she was represented in game at max battle load, like lets say Kremlin is, besides she was intended to engage enemy beyond their effective range, Drachnifel has some good videos that touch upon the naval engagement principles for capital ships... Yamato had its design flaws but her armor sheme was not really one of them, she was very decently designed and put together adequately in that regard besides USA didnt want to risk their Iowas and Sodaks in engaging her even though they had radar for night and fog optipn and probs even basic BWR capabilities at the time of the final showdown...

    Well on those distances one can expect 1-2 cits from a well aimed salvo, this usually means 9-12 shells went down range and 4-6 hit overall I dont really know how to put it in the 1-10 scale in that sence but I guess I would say about 5 or therabout... Ofc sometimes you get more cits either due to RNG or you ship being extraordinarily accurate but we are talking some high tier BB average example I guess...

    Well if you hit at the waterline or near it you will get cits, if you hit deck you wont, OFC you will aim at the waterline, now RNGesus will decide where they land...

    Looks decent enough in general, I would only split the lines in pure 128 and 150 armed ones to stop with the nonsense we have, Gaede and Z-23 should be put in one of them and only with one gun caliber, now how exactly they would mix it up between 128s and 150s and hydro vs no hydro, long vs short torps and such would need to be elaborated but lets assume that 128s get the anti DD role with hydro and shorter torps and 150s get the longer ranged torps (IJN ranges) and ny hydro but engine boost and maybe TRB or something to make that part stronger...

This game is not P2W its P2 Progress Faster, obviously you didnt have experience with real P2W games, strongest ships in this game in general are some freemiums and techtree ships, they are available for free albeit you need to work your a$$ off to get them without some money invested in stuff - you actually can, dont get me wrong for some you will work your bum off even with some money involved but it will be considerably less then without some money spent... 2. I looked at your stats, they are pretty decent, you also have a number of ships in port so it seems you can play against the paying customers after all and not only play but win... Soooo why the salt all of the sudden? Because of Alaska? She is a freemium ship and as such free to get if you are persistent enough to hoard the amount of resource needed (FreeXP was it? I dont even remember anymore...) and there are as of yet no capital cruisers in tree lines so we cant really compare her to a silver counterpart as there is none, you cant compare her to a Buffalo because CCs are a Ca hard counter, saying that CC wipes the floor wit a CA is a statement of fact, CC is basically a smaller cheaper BB so duh.. Overall way I see it you are doing fine in the game, you even have few premiums in port so you can grind cash in them to speed up the progress in that dept...

    Which kinda explains it, BB fires guns entire flanks sees him, the DD gets 1/5 - 1/8 or so of the 40% of the damage done and that provided anybody does some meaningful damage, also fire that burns him is seemingly not included as it says "when shells hit" meaning it only the alpha damage that counts...
  20. Well for me its mostly collector value TBH as in a) real ship b) continuation of the 2x4 FF main guns, so we have them from T6-T9, only thing remaining is WG making a T10 scaled up JB design maybe with Rep turrets...

  23. Since you need to aim at the thing you are bombing for the bombs to hit and citadel unless you want to just roll the dice on every drop? IDK what kind of evidence you would consider proper but I dont have streaming setup or whatnot to make videos and time the frames, IDK maybe I am wrong but the max speed seems token sidegrade, maybe better CV players then myself see it as more advantageous if you can prepare for the drop more in advance or something...
  24. Because if you need to slow down to get a high drop for say AP bombs the higher your initial speed the more and longer the deceleration lasts and then you again spend more time in AA bubble... Speed dropping is good for farming damage purposes as in go towards enemy drop, speed away drop another etc until you are either out of planes or targets on that course but for managing a single target it doesnt always seem an advantage esp for AP bombs... Edit: Took a look in the game now so the LU gives 15% MAX speed to Hak planes so thats like 241kt? speed does it make such a large difference in time you will spend in the aura IDK, and thats even if you have boost left to use...
