T7 Florida has 12x14" (356mm) in 3x4 (3 quad turrets) and reduced plate but better dispersion T8 silver ship (now gold while early access) has 12x16"(406mm) in 4x3 (4 triple turrets) so she has most guns of any t8 and bigest as well T9 has same setup, all other 12 gun bbs here are all 15" (380mm) naimly Pommern and Alsace, only Georgia has bigger guns as she has 18" (457mm) but only 6 of them T10 has 12x18" (457mm) heaviest broadside in game

14" ers are only on Florida she is a) premium and b) T7 where 14" is still ok-ish and c) has BC dispersion? T8, T9 and T10 are the actuall new silver ships...

I am only baffeld by the seeming inability of the game client to remember the gamma slider setting since the last patch...

I am just waiting for the announcemet that the next dockyard ship is that skipbomber armed T10 premium KM CV and then we have a complete cl*sterf*ck set...

The point of the line is you get the T10 then fire 12 18" shells at someone... All ships before that are well just a something to grind through...

Between very fast BBs, very fast reloading BBs, cruiser deck overmatching BBs, almost BB like battlecrusers and ever faster flying shells from all of the above spiced up by cruiser shredding AP rockets its small wonder less and less people bother with them...

If she comes with a camo then amount of gold worth might be the value of the camo (in this case 4k) bit then again since you just as well might get nothing of value for it I would say its not worth it, IDK how the token stuff will look like but judeging by past events it will be iffy ar best, I might possibly buy myself the Florida straight from shop but maybe not even that, I think I will sit this one out and save the doe for Santa crates...

And you are missing a point - say I have 20 km torps as per your example (that would be like one cruiser and one dd that can fire those and still hit a DD but ok) and you are in a DD say 10 km closer to the enemy then I am (lets make it 8 and 18 km repectively from an incoming enemy flank) and you are offset from the torpedo path of fish I would fire on them like 2-3 km to the side of it and mowing to the opposite direction... Now I shoud not fire those torps because you might do a 180 and run into them? Sorry but forget it, I am firing them and if you get hit its your problem, I wont be glad about it but I also wont lose sleep about it either...

T8 has 16" guns, nothing in T8 to date has bigger cal... T9 has 16" guns, again nothing in T9 apart from Musashi (that is premium and not obtainable by normal means) and Georgia (premium as well) has bigger guns, ok technically Fred and Lion have 16,5 option but no real difference there T10 has 18" guns only Yamato and Shikishima beat her in caliber and she is en par with Thunderer, Kremlin and Ohio I see no disatvantage in cal on the new line???

Did I claim opposite? I said some DD captians shoud grow a brain cell or two as in take into account that their movement to one direction might signify their intent to not be in the line of fire in forseable future and somebody behind them might take the shot, if the guy farther away then you are (which does not mean same as behind you) fired torps while you were clearly steaming away from the torps path and you do a 180 and get hit, well thats a joint effort right there...

I did not say I spam torps in more then 4 years I play this game I was pink maybe two dozen times or so half of which was earned on coop bots, I play all classes and guess what when I am opearating in front of my cruisers in a DD I tend to look what they are doing before I change my course to an opposite one and esp if there are viable targets in that direction, a simple common sense IMHO, ofc f-ups happen even so I got hit more then once as well, s*it happens... Again not saying one shoud spray and prey but also never fire torps because a mo*on might theoretically yolo into them well thats s*pid as well... As for using my ships full potential, maybe I am not but well say Fiji has 15km range IDK what I can do aside from being within that distance if I want to shoot anyone...

@OP For farming resources take T9 freemiums I suggest Alaska and Georgia for starters, for playing a bit of T10 semi-competitive you can either go for a T10 permacamo OR a RB ship either Ohio (prob better ship and meshes with Georgia and to a degree even Alaska captian) or Slava, if you are more a DD man get Smaland and/or Somers (still descent all rounder) or grind one of the silver ships... As the m8 above said mid tiers are hardly worth it, you might get some decent mileage from Nelson as she is cheap and Blyska you already have for occasonal bout in Random/Rank/Sprint or in Narai, everything else WG is selling nowadays is usually meh at best, if you are insanely lucky maybe you can pick up the incoming Florida cheaply or for free (not sure about that though) but I wouldnt spend much if any money on her...
