    Well in all honesty if those are Petropavlovsks they will be last on my targeting list, shooting those things is basically a waste of time for an average BB, you cant pen the deck nose in with any AP ordnance, you cant cit her reliably, you cant even get good hits on the freeboard as there is none... Basically unless its a Thunderer or something similar good for HE spam or you are able to rush her full broadside with Burg/JB and MBRB her to death from point blank its simply a waste of time trying to bring her down as a primary target...

    No, I spend so much time in the game already and I dont intend to do free fodder testing for them as well, I did play the first test for leveling ships and getting live prizes and only because of that... Also as I said earlier - I happen to consider subs to be unbalancable as a class because of broken core mechanic and hence IMHO its a pointless endevour to "help them balance it", I am also not interested in being involved in testing "damage control measures" they are implementing in the game to stave off a disaster coming in fast caused by the problem they insist putting in the game themselves... Also afaik they so far had ONE public testrun of subs on live and this TST is only the second one soo I fail to see the progress here? We had the test, it showed its bad for game and broken (which was IIRC already "tweaked" iteration of the closed test subs) it should have been a clear and unmistakable sign that subs shoud be dropped right there and then, something WG brass maintained they are ready to do but as many times before it seems those were only empty words...

    Agreed also I dont think all nations have to have all lines fo up to T10 if a nations lune has ships to go up to T7 or 8 make it wnd there, if one is really concerned about people not being willing to grind a line because it ends there there are ways to make it more apeailing.. Aditionnaly - I dont mind a bit of tweaked CC-ing if its done in moderation...

They are worse then meh IMO, they are simply bad, at least T8 and 9 are, cant comment on Vermut and her 18" cruiser poppers ofc but for instance - why take slow and fragile Minolta over Pommern that has 12 barrels, turtleback, torps and is faster? Ok occasionally maybe you slap an overmatchable cruiser or T7 BB but how often will that exact situatuon happen IRL IDK and in the meanwhile you get a much weaker overall package... Also those 16" AP shells are really nothing to write home about either nowadays and firing HE on a BB just to get some damage in...

    Teams got wiped in ops (and still are) because there were 50 bots vs 7 or 8 live players not because the bots were so smart, best bots I have seen so far were actually in the sub test as they worked pretty well aside from occasionally hitting a depthcharging green DD while shooting at a submerged sub but that can be forgiven as reading if the sub is below or above the treshold might have been to complex to be implemented easily into the AI at that time...

    Well it really depends on the target to be either very unlucky as to spawn bang in the middle of nowhere or being lobotomised... I had one tryhard wannabe div (read potatoes) try that on me a while back, well it didnt end well for them as well while they were trying to off me I stomped the entire nearby flank into the ground and they were, well exotically dilated shortly...

    Well TBH if we take the span of nations tiers as cronological function we came off cheaply as Kutuzov that sits in T8 was 50-ies ship which would by extension make actuall T10 USSR ships like 70-ies and that would mean guided missile cruisers...

Yea not to mention those two are such trash it doesnt really matter if you upgrade them or not, TBH for the first time in a long while I am considering just ignoring an entire new line of ships permanently... Oh and yes I got both T8 and T9 so we are clear here, too slow to find good broadsiding positions, too fragile to be good tanks in every tier there are better ships for their role... IDK if Vermont might save the line with her 12x18" but honestly I am starting to be doubtful there as well...

    Doesnt matter what they "learned" or didnt learn TBH because the subs are bound to be equally broken in the core as the CVs or rather their planes are - they are operating at a different layer and the interaction with them is in core - unilateral, the counter mechanism of surface ships against them is automated while the offending class is manually controlled in its every aspect of attack, hence one side has full control of the engagement, is free to find the exploit tactics and wreck the target while the other side is just there to send of some ticks or in this case RNG bomblets.... Yes the fact they reworked SOME of the issues is good BUT the very core of the interaction is the issue and quite frankly I do not think subs will be balancable any more then CVs are, there will be an initial burst of interest, lines will be ground, premiums sold, money to be spent and had and after weeks we will be at the same crossroads as we are with the CVs either a) make them overpowered vs surface ships or b) nobody plays them and the project is a failure... I just cant see how all this can end well for the game health that is rather questionable as it is...
