So a question for the guys having her - is she worth collecting before she goes away? At the first I just said F* it what can you do when I heard she is going away BUT thing is - I did get some dragon flags from the crates so I might actually gather enough free xp for her until the deadline if I pull the brake on using the free xp for lines regrind, ofc that means less gift crates before the 9.12 end and some RP in waiting instead of in the bank, maybe even a bit less steel from the flakes but then again she is a strong competitive choice and in future prob will return only in the gambling crates... So yay or nay?

Any ship in T8 and later T9 that needed grinding through really, up untill now that includes a bit of Monarch, Lion (still grinding that), Edinbourgh, Neptune, Albemarle, Drake, Bismarck, FDG, Akizuki, Richelieu, Alsace, Ibuki, probs forgotten some, ofc I didnt only play Ranked in them but other modes as well... As for "secret weapon" for when I decided I want to rank out in silver - Somers I got recently offered good services...

Yep there is a BB/CV hybrid called Ise (modified proto Fuso design) and CA/CV hybrid called Tone (modified proto Mogami class)

TBH Nellie always was a bit of a glass cannon and required very careful play not to get deleted, however superheal and nuclar HE shells balanced that out

M8 I suggest you do as I have - go to the Silver league, play 11 wins and if you rank out for the extra R1 prize ok, if not you still get most of it, no stress no nothing, you will get 11 wins even if you are AFK...

M8 no offence but that is just smoke, anybody playing this game at least half serious can see that ANY super cruiser is basically a pointless object right now... Yes you can make them work with extreme caution in s sense that you can do damage from max range while kiting like crazy (there is a good Flamu vid in Stalingrad illustrating all this) but that is not and never was the point of those things and ANY CA (and even some CLs) in same tiers are better at that game and easier to play to boot, the SC fire duration extension was probably both justified and necessary back then when the FP and BOS were available and less CAs that could pen them directly with HE as well as less super battleships floated around (even though only 2 of them actually ever were a real issue performance wise - Stalingrad and Alaska) but now? Especially with the SAP/Smoke armed BBs incoming? I suggest you guys take the super cruisers in division next time when you are on stream and try how it goes for you...

Well again - does it matter? I mean its basically this - you get spotted, you are running for your life, shells are coming your way, you will want to get undetected ASAP one way or another... I seriously doubt there is much kiting potential there as in get detected fire few shots and go dark and repeat, I mean with some DDs you might pull it off vs bigger stuff sure but how effective it is an entirely different matter... I mean QOL thing - sure, but absolutely essential? Hardly...

Mhm, right up until that said BB turns the guns your way and vaporises you couse being 12-13 km from a BB let alone closer while spotted all the time is hardly compatible with a long life expectancy... I know, you now think - but many BB players are potatoes, sure BUT does it even matter if you reduced the dispersion of such guy 10%?

TBH I couldnt care less about RP, I have so many and several tens of thousands are on T10 ships that I dodnt yet quite finish but am just about to do it, I would however take the refund for Stalingrad for instance as I deem her utterly trash as of this update...

Why would it even matter? Most skills are either minute bonuses that are largely irrelevant in a sence of knowing if they are on or not regarding to your actuall play, for instance you shoot with a BB with deaeye and you get the dispersion that you get in that salvo based on all the factors, you will harldy not fire just because deadeye is not active if a target presents a broadside OR they are very obviously active when they are, for instance your speed is greater then normal or your reload is shorter or whatever...

As long as stars are awarded the way they are the RANK you are at is meaningless, WR is another matter entirely BUT again random MM ensures you cannot be ranked upon that either... For instance a 70% WR in a ranked sprint can mean you would have 100% WR if it was soleley opon your abilities, or it could mean you would have 40% if it was solely reliant on your perfirmance as the end result depends on luck as well as skill... Heck even a metric like PR is kinda lacking although its better then nothing, for true assesment of ones quality ALL 3 of those (lets put aside the PR caveats for now) would be needed (stars you won, wr and pr while playing a given ship) but prizes are not handed down for any of those as such, they are given for winning a match (majority of the pot as it stands) and ranking up (old system and ranking out) not for WR or PR or whatnot or even a number of stars won as such and hence since the rank as such is meaningless (because its not dependent on your performance alone) and WR or PR dont get awarded as such we have what we have, a mess...
