You cant really, deadeye IS most effective in the mid range but the average stump (TM) doesnt get that

Splitting skills per classes is kinda ok-ish, even most skills themselves are acceptable BUT nothing can tarnish the fact this is the money grab of the decade which is clearly visible in the way binding the caps to the ships works, had they allowed each cap to be trained for one ship of each class and bound to it I wouldnt have batted an eye but the way this is in the game now its clearly made solely to promote use of premium ships and special caps and thats just lame to the max TBH, I mean OK I got myself loads of prems over the years and the last supercap I was lacking (Auboyneou or what he is called) i got few weeks back so I am kinda not so bad off there but still the entire ordeal reeks to the heaven and back...

Well its first Sprint in the new season in which we were all reset back to square one so its only natural that not so experienced players have issues in ranking out and quals for the silver as there are loads of experienced players thrown in the mix that make it all the more difficult for them to both carry their weight properly as well as save stars, I was see-sawing for like two days in the quals up to 3/4 stars and back again, finally made it through today when the weekend lot cleared out...

Well if you are playing a clan div for ops you shouldnt have issues farming the Narai, one fast rapid firing CL for the transport intercept (ie Atlanta, Flint, Fiji, Helena, Abruzzi or similar, ideally with hydro and heal) and one preferably torpedo armed CA (ie Algiere, Surrey, Myoko) or a battlecruiser such as Strasbourg to go for the CV and for rest you take one or two sec spec BBs (Gneise or Sharn come to mind) and load the rest of div with heavy broadside hitters (ie Lyon, Ashitaka, Nelson, California, Sinop) to escort the transports and blow away the bot BBs and cruisers before they can zap something important...
