The issue is not how to play against them in principle, I have slaughtered dozens in the Ranked both with depthcharges and planes, I even killed some by dropping them with Duch CA airstirkes (those bombs are an instagib if they connect on the sub while surfaced) but the subs do not bring ANYTHING good to the game, they are just another disconnected toxic griefer class same as CVs are and pushing them into the game is solely money driven and its in the instant cashgrab sheme mindset, game will be dead like WOWP in matter of months...

I have a suggestion for WG, how about you implement a suicide button in the UI so when we get 4 subs and a CV per side we can just go for the next battle without wasting our time...

TBH I detached myself from caring about anything in this game anymore, I played the Ranked for steel and I ll try the Randoms with truds in them, if I deem it BS at some point (which I strongly suspect will happen) or they proclaim Full success of the turds in that state I ll just uninstall and That’s all

Carnot is prob easier to hit with due to faster shells, she also has 20% engine boost, you can think of her in terms of mini Alsace with Henry engine boost… Yoshino is more like super-Zao and she burns like hellfire also torps

No offence mate but thats BS and as a player you know that very well, reason homing and pinging combo is in put the game is so the subs can hit stuff more often (homing) and so the sub player has something to do (pinging) and additionally binding the "counter mechanic" to DCP that is already heavily overtaxed in most critical situations as it is has been put there so we DONT counter it or ie there is guaranteed damage for the sub player so they are kept interested...

You are missing the point m8, you are NOT SUPPOSED to counter the subs damaging you, same as with CVs

Ranked is not competitive because you can’t choose your team simple as that, as long as your team is randomized its not a competitive mode

Alternatively there are other modes, for instance Ranked should now be trud free if they are moving “the testing” to Randoms…

Honestly I dont think so, the single fire torps and short ping cooldowns basically make any attempt of evasion via DCP pointless anyway, if you can’t hide behind hard cover your best option is to take the punishment and put the hammer down on the trud with the planes, you are not likely to die from a torp or two anyway unless you are so low that using DCP prob wont Save you anyway as the rest of the red team will pummel you, maybe if you are 1on1 but how often will that be…

All these WW1 jacked up designs always end up crappy and ridiculous looking in high tiers, just Look at the Colombo…

Telling the location of your team mate is theoretically a bannable offence and if we start doing it en masse the cuddled class might be important enough for WG to enforce it…
