  1. ...i once saw a documentary on TV (discovery channel, as i recall), was about planes in WWII, and there it was explained that the IJN planes were indeed very fast because those were lighter (less armor) than say American & Russian planes (those had more stamina). In game we also see the planes are fast, but, does that really give an edge in attack? Or does better armor provide bigger benefit; this in view of the AI-guided-AA which does not really bother much about speed of the planes. And yes, in battles i see other carriers most of the time perform much better than the IJN carriers, at present, that is. This also means that when a team has an IJN carrier in it (T8 or T10) and enemy has not IJN carrier, this means enemy has better chance to win, because the USN and British carriers atm have more impact/influence on the battle. Just my opinion, i watched during battles + watched score-lists in my own battles with regard to carrier performances. I myself decided to put my Hakuryu (X) on hold for the time being (= do not play it anymore) till some new balancing patch(es) will arrive. I fully understand that balancing is extreme complex, oh yes, i understand, but at the same time i do not doubt for one second that WG will succeed doing so eventually and all will be perfect as from then. It just needs some time and that's np with me, cuz we can play sooooooo many other great ships also (destroyers, carriers, battleships), so, i do not mind waiting a bit. (...btw, RN Furious (VI) plays real ok, certainly nice entertainment provided by that carrier, cool ship to watch in battle also; sofar like the battles i played with it)

    ...shows this is too complex an issue; must say that most of times my destroyers get sunk relatively soon (for sure far sooner, on average, than my BooBies); depends on ship class one prefers to play the most & preferred play style. Must say, playing my Asashio (VIII) taking high risks when going right in from the start for taking cap B (i quite regularly do, even when 2x enemy carriers around, and even in almost full T10 battles)...to see, to find out "do i feel lucky today???...can i succeed taking it succesfully?"...sometimes really works perfectly and has positive impact for our team in battle & at those times i feel like: YEAH, THAT IS KICKING, GREAT!!!...and some other times i get just blown out of the water right away, big time, being the very first one of team getting sunk, lol. And think of this one: skills & experience are important, yes....but keep realizing that some luck has always been vital part in Warfare for thousands of years already (luck has an impact, that is for sure, yeah!) So, one also should ask him/her self regularly?....."Do I Feel Lucky Today?" Last comment of mine, enjoy yr battles, have fun & be lucky out there, bye & cheers!!!

    ....optimistic?...nah, i would rather call it positive. And yeah, i also experience such battles; one of the battles i thought our team gonna win because we had 6 ships left and enemy team had only 2x ships left, but, strangely my team did not go for the caps(???), so battle was lost on points, lol. Loosing say some 7 battles in a row, yes, i also experience. Do i bother? nah, not really, cuz I prefer to play randoms, solo (yolo), fast paced and i do not mind loosing some (i mean, just start up another battle) & stats are not my main focus, goal. But there are many others fully focused on stats (i fully understand that, and that is their preferred way of playing) and those players would certainly get bit irritated when loosing some 7 battles in a row. yes, i understand that. I once read somewhere that some had even figured out "some best days & times to play their battles" performing better battles at those days & times. next: one can learn some game by reading guides, watching youtube vids, watching others, replays etc. But always realize that for the very many there always will be another, extra way to get the experience: by just trying some different things (tactics, attacks, etc.) while playing, experimenting, very, very many do. And yes, you see this in random battles happening, fcaus: some player taking his Republique (seondary specs) into some cap almost right from the start, things like that i mean. Dumb play? nah, not necessarily, i would not call it that way, dunno, could very well be that player just trying things to see how it will work out in practice. Players getting the experience by just trying things, yeah, very often happens; getting new experiences. Makes them more experienced players (learning process). what i see in my own battles with regard to player-base i rather would call "positive" and i kind of sense lots of new players out there just trying different approaches (= ok). Again, i think player-base is in kind of "transition phase"...so many changes (= great, good for the game) and obviously WG aiming for the bigger numbers (= also great, right way to go). So, yeah, positive and yeah: give it some time

    how long do battles last on average? imho there exists no general answer for that, depends on the way players prefer to play, many variables here: - preferred ship class? ...i mean, destroyers last not as long as say battleships on average - preferred game mode (random, clan, co-op, etc.) - playing yes/no in division - play-style: attacking style (wanting to take high risks) or more safe playing style - balanced battle? some battles are finished after say some 8 minutes enemy very soon taking all caps or base?..happens - is player focused on stats or just after having some nice fast action? that choice is made by each individual player - preferred time taken between battles 5 mins, 10, 30 mins? - preferred tier for battles? 5/6/7/8/10? - solo (yolo) <---> serious division? - etc. very many variables here having an impact on each individual players preferred average battle-time, so imho there exist no 1x general answer, of course not (...i just noticed yr a beta tester(???)......)

    Yes, best way to play this game is by playing battles in division with 1x or 2x others; fully agree, yes, of course. Can only advise players to do so, when yr friends are around. And yes, playing solo means one will play more battles, for sure. But still, thing is, when i notice players with high WR (say > 58 WR) i also notice that they played for over 2 years but most of the times some 4K-5K battles only? I never ever watch stats of others (i rather watch how they actually perform in my own battles) but the times i did I noticed this correlation though...so, i wondered: why is that? Are they carefully planning their battles in randoms (time + which teammates + which ships)? That could explain why they cannot play more battles? Was wondering about that. Last: you mentioned "a lot of people got bored with the game"?????...I really disagree here; must say, during my battles i noticed contrary, opposite, so here i do not agree with you: the game has gotten more vibrant, faster paced and has been enriched in many, many other ways during last 2 years. Yes, there were a lot of changes recently (game mechanics, new ships, new carriers, radar, etc....so many changes) and it is my guess that players need some time to get used to those. And you mention "The Game"...but realize game is changing in time (past & present&future) so, actually the is no "The Game".....the game has changed very often (enriched by new ships, game mechanics, etc etc.) during last 2 years. So, what is "The Game"? In future we get the submarines, new tech trees, etc.(just some examples). Anyway, that is how I see it all, my personal opinion. Enjoy yr battles, bye & cheers!!

    ...ahh, interesting....but going down that road: what would hold back the players with 60+ WR kicking those out with lower WR (such as yrself) to some 3rd server???....lol....and think of this one: when ya would be playing on a server >50% WR, then, how long would one be able ta keep up some 57% WR between all those > 50%??....i guess not long, cuz ya would be playing all kind of same ways: waiting, waiting for easy opportunities ta come (call it "skills" lol). In short: lots of players get higher WR cuz <50% WR are here for fun and taking the big risks so the > 50% can easily score...yeah complex, i know....please try ta let it sink in a bit, is complex, yeah? lol (...btw: maybe ya can explain: why so many >50% WR playing this great game for over 2 years only played 5-6K battles???...i mean, why is that?....afraid ta "just-hop-in-a-random-battle-and-just-play-for-fun-with-any-ship-one-likes"...stressy?...crampy??...need 2x teammates to div before playing just some random battle, so better wait till "both me teammates are both available for div" (will be in 1x week from now, so i will wait till then?, lol)...?...dunno, was just brainstorming & i am here only for great fun + entertainment...CHEERS!!!...lol)

    Random battles, i guess player-base atm in kind of transition phase: 1) many changes with regard to game mechanics 2) Very many new ships 3) New carrier reworks 4) new players very fastly entering T8 (and higher) game-play/battles (=have to get the experience yet, in time they will) I mean: players have to get used to the many changes. And "passive play" or call it "camping" is not related to new carriers: even with battles randoms with no carriers in it i from time to time see players "waiting it out, passively". In time this will change when they will discover other ways to play it which brings them much more fun + credits + XP (= by trying to go for the win). So yes, there are the many passive battles in randoms" but, do also realize we still got the many normal active battles (50%<--->50%?... dunno). I myself always play solo and me, i am not really stats focused so i do not really bother much when playing some battle with passive teams (happens, i see it as part of gaming, you also see it happening in other games from time to time, talking people here, so beforehand one never ever knows for sure what team you get next, lol). Though, I at the same time realize there are also many players stats-focused and yeah, in that case being part of a passive team is not pleasant, i understand. But then again, if ya go for stats in random battles better division with 2x other players, cuz in that way you can influence the battle much more. Last, randoms is only one of the game-modes, for instance i guess playing clan-battles one will never ever play any battles with passive teams (= guaranteed team-play, i guess) When i myself see some team members close to me being passive, i relatively often use my ships horn (=letting those other team members know that i am going full in (sounds are universal understood), all to boost moral, battle spirit, at least i aim for doing so) hoping for my team-members to following in attack. Must say, relatively often works. Yeah, you can play excellent battles that way but sometimes ya will also be sunk as one of the very first ones, but what the h#l#, this is a game and we are here for fun and it indeed very often revives a passive team (can even bring a winning battles). So, all in all, imho (see the above) i am thinking player-base is going in right direction. And that is a good thing. bye & cheers!

    Rework of CVs

    for all clarity and referring to my above comment, I add following (to avoid any misunderstandings): I really much like the carrier-reworks as from patch 8.0. Ohh yes, I like it, very much!!!! And I am realy glad WG for sure going in right direction-----> eventually (after proper balancing) reworks will enormously benefit the game. 1) Graphics are truly great! Sounds are so great! Visuals are great! 2) the carriers look awesome, all. Played the new RN carriers T4 and T6 and I was truly amazed about the very beauty of it all (i so much value graphics & sound in my games): so nice to watch the carriers + yr squadrons in action, cool & awesome 3) Handling of the carriers + planes i really like: took away most of the former skill-gaps between enemy captains---> greatly benefits the game! (= makes the battles on average more balanced + interesting/fun) 4) Far more (actually all) enthusiastic players as from 8.0 patch can far more easily "just-hop-in-a-carrier" and enjoy playing carriers ----> = good for game because this great game really, really needs is carriers in it: the carriers "battle camping behaviour" + make the game faster paced (!!!) + make the game even more vibrant!!! (=great) So, for all clarity: for me it is just about the further balancing of the IJN-carriers (=really needed), that's the only thing i so much would like to see being done. I am not aiming for some "overpowered carriers" or so, no, no...i only wanna have a playable IJN carrier which provides me with some entertainment while i play it. If my IJN carrier would have possibility to do say some 25k-30k damage, well, then i am happy with that cuz then i would like playing it. I play for fun & entertainment and doing high damage is not my ultimate goal, oh now...i only wanna have playable, entertaining, fun, ships, that is my only goal. All other ship classes do very well already (all fun to play them), so now I am waiting for IJN carriers to getta be fun to play

    Rework of CVs

    ...just played 2x battles with Hakuryu (X): first battle did 8900 damage and second battle ZERO 0,00000 damage, = kind of "normal" when I play Haku. EVERY enemy ship has the possibility to easily & fast shoot all (some 9-12) planes out of sky. Even destroyers (besides Shima) easily destroy all yr planes. Range of AI-guided-AA is enormous: AA never misses and does not matter how you manoeuvre (using islands, speeding, slowing etc.) they shoot yr planes through mountains: yr planes have no chance whatsoever. This is NOT playable, guess just like i do: any players just having a T10 IJN carrier play some battles with it and then totally stop playing IJN carriers any longer. My Haku = optimal setting (19-points capt + all upgrades + special perma camo) but is totally crap. This has to be balanced soon, very soon. This cannot seriously be sold to yr customers, cuz they just leave and stop playing them. Besides the above, I again mention that RTS-carriers stagnated and hold back (crippled) any further development of this game in the past: so it is a good thing RTS-carriers are past tense. No doubt about that. But that being said: New Carriers (IJN) urgently need further balancing, cuz atm they are far too weak (have no impact at all, besides scouting that is: but then again WHO ever wanna do scouting only, whole battle??? no one, because brings ya no fun, no credits and no XP...by doing only some scoutings you will end up empty handed afterwards. But IJN Carriers have to be made "bit" playable for us the players. It is NOT that I want to do great damage or so, no, I just wanna have an IJN Carrier that can do some damage (say 25K-30K? instead of a ship doing 8900 damage, or less. Is that too much to ask for??? I even wonder why it is always that the IJN Ships get the "strange" nerfes, I mean, players in Asia for sure will not like to see this, and they noticed (don't they complain to see IJN ships being nerfed all the time?) . Besides that: playing a carrier takes far, far more energy to play: in fact yr kind of "have to transport yr shells/explosives by plane towards an enemy ship position, re-position---> attack---> hope for the best----> get all yr planes destroyed---> next to notice you did no damage or say 2k damage???...i mean: when i shoot 2x times with any of my BB's or cruisers i do far more damage in just 1x minute than my carriers do in full battle??? lol...come on, this is absurd. Just doing some shootings with yr cruisers or battleship goes fast & easy and guaranteed hits, the easy way, think of that one. Torps of carriers are ridiculous: so, so easy for any ship to avoid them.... I do not agree with yr opinion that other ship classes suffer due to New Carriers (the reworks), nah, when I play my other ship classes I have a good laugh at any planes & carriers. because I shoot them all down and that brings extra credits + XP. IJN CARRIERS URGENTLY NEED A HOTFIX!!!!!!!

    ...nahh, i thinking yr underestimating the brilliancy of WG, they need some time balancing analyzing, yeah, but eventually they succeed (...I actually think WG so brilliant persons, they actually play 3-d-chess here...and they prove ta be correct 100% in time, they always do, is my experience with WG: they always deliver for us, the player base, cuz that is win-win for all). Experts are not on forums, nahhhh, the real experts are WG (cuz they have all relevant data and the brilliant people, so just give it some time & ya see, for sure). And besides that, cheer up: eventually we, the players, will have one of the greatest games ever(!)...no competition others there, will be great, legendary game!!!

  15. nah, my full trust goes to WG! (I admire them, caus of graphics, game mechanics...those people are brilliant), anyway, Wows being me #1 game for over 2 years already (I have 3x others on-liners, also great online games, very great, love them, but still...WOWS = my #1 ever best I played!). About King Cobra Ninja Asashio (VIII): i advice you to play it bit more creative (walking sharp edges, do rushes, etc, etc.) and ya will see you will do great. Must honestly state here: from all prems I ever played in this great game there are the very best: Asashio + Massachusetts + Nelson...my all time ever best purchases: those ships are incredible great entertainment + make ya millions & millions of easy credits. And me?...well....every one 100% hates me to me bones forums, all hate me....think they gonna try to get me account deleted, all hating me....well, maybe they succeed doing so, could well be, lol, but i will never change, will always me true self...think of this one: ultimately also the LAST Mohican got killed, oh, yes.....bye & cheers!!!
