  1. I do not need to know the history to know that it was unprofessionell to call MrFingers out like that. If he (or is it a she?) likes to stir up crap, I would not know about that. If those complaints are about consistent differences between regional servers they have at least a leg to stand on. They are not complaining over nothing. If they are complaining just to complain and to make troubles then it would be better and more professionell to ignore them or to devalue their complaints with facts then to call them out like this. From what I heard WG gave away giftcodes in the past on their celebrations for tanks and ships and such. So if they are not doing it this year I can understand why some people are disapointed as their expectations were build up over the past years. I guess all I wanted to say with my original post is that the Ph3lan guy did not act like a professionell and that the celebration offers fail at bringing new players into the game. I did not really want to discuss the other stuff as I really do not know enough about that to form an educated opinion. I should not have touched those other topics at all. I will now go quiet to read up a hit more to form an opinion of my own about those things. I will also play a bit more. Maybe I will reach that next tier and the necessary player level to get a shot at the reward mission.
  2. Hello everyone. I am new to this game and the forum. I got an invite code from a friend and I am now trying out the game. In doing so I started to read up a few topics on the forum. That is were I stumbled over this thread. I guess this Ph3lan guy is an official here representing Wargaming and I have to answer his post with my point of view. Let me start that so far I am enjoying the game. My friend told me that I am doing quite well. The bonus items I recieved for being new appear to be generous. Now in response to the post of Ph3lan, I need to say that I can not agree with him. I don' t know about his history with MrFingers, but calling him out like that is unsuitable for an official. That is belittling the opinion of your players. Even if you and your company disagree with their opinion you still have to respect them and communicate with them in a fair manner. I see no difficulties in offering different incentives for different regional servers, as long as it evens out over time. I do see a problem when something regular is offered as something special, like it seems to be with that double XP thing this weekend, when all other regions clearly do get something special instead. That is not offering something different, that is unfair treatment. When I then look at the offering for this special occasion I also fail to notice how they are supposed to bring new players in. All rewards I am currently getting are for being a new player in the game or through the invite. I do not yet qualify for this special mission that is mentioned on the homepage as a part of the event and all other offers want me to spend money. I fail to see how they are an incentive for new players to join a supposedly free to play game on such a special occasion. I am not unsatisfied with the new player experience as such but without the invite link from my friend I would have had nothing special and this weekend would not have offered me anything that would sway me to join the game for good. If that is one of the goals of those offerings then Wargaming needs to do a lot better.
