    I suppose they could just release a RN line first, even CV's of the RN, before going the paper Soviet route. And German destroyers of course.

    Russian / USSR Battleships - what to expect?

    They had their own WW1 designs, then used some ships from other nations (rather poorly AFAIK) and then after that plans for Yamato / Montana class designs that did not become reality. Because technical difficulties and such. Good luck finding an interesting and unique flavor in this. I guess it would be more fantasy than anything else. Weak armor would probably be the only historical fact that you could truthfully incorporate into the game (I read that they had difficulties creating the cemented armor which is one of the reasons they used foreign stuff).

    Ideas to motivate team play

    In BF people choose to join a squad, good players will have a squad that people want to be in, it's optional in any case. Also it's a simple first-come-first-serve principle. Click first and be leader. Like the dynamic division (or what I have heard about it). I don't see anything else working to be honest. Votes would be useless as you have no idea how good someone is. You might never see that player again after the battle ends.

    It's disgusting, how does 5m credits even compare to the other rewards? I'd rather have 250 of the worst flags indeed.

    Ideas to motivate team play

    Bouncing ideas around is good. In other games like BF, you get something like "squad points" for following orders. Or something like that I can't really remember. Point is that someone should be able to designate a certain cap for example, capping that point (or defending it) could give extra points. Not too much, but something like that would work and could be implemented in the current system (the "leader" press F3 on a certain objective and voila). It could also work for supporting a certain ship ("protect that target").

    Bad idea to force the whole team to one side. I don't see that as promoting teamwork either. What if the enemy team goes opposite side? The only way to promote teamwork is VOIP, but not everyone wants that. Some other tools can work (F3 to indicate an objective, chat) but you can't expect serious teamwork from that. If you want serious teamwork you will have to join a clan and participate in events. Making random pubstars work together is impossible.

    Useless probably, since secondaries need range above anything. Making them more effective in a smaller area therefore wouldn't do much, except for those times when you are already in suicide range.

    How Is This Run Of Losses Possible How Does MM Work

    WoWs is the only game I ever played that is so focused on WR. It's surprising because WoWs is basically a shooter. A very slow shooter. It must be because of the low pace of the game that people automatically find the tactical part more important (and as a test of that skill, winning). The irony is that you get almost zero cooperation in pubs with randoms so it's about as tactical as rolling dice. The fact that good players undoubtedly get a higher WR has nothing to do with tactics and more with the fact that they can win their flank, occupy an objective, destroy more enemy ships than others etc. I would presume that KDR and such would be valued much higher. At least when I joined the game a few months ago.

Minekaze/Kamikaze/Fujin: 33 Gremy: 30 Murmansk: 19 König: 25 + 1 = 26 It's a shotgun. The only people that don't like this ship are the ones that use it as a sniper Königsberg: 24
  16. It seems that you want to win and that is good. But I'm not sure what you are doing since all your averages are awfully terrible. I think you have the right mindset but just play the ships wrong (i.e. rush with the wrong destroyer and get wrecked in the first minute, shoot >15km with your Nagato etc.). Watch a couple fo hours of Flamu playing your favorite ships on youtube, and maybe you'll learn how to use them correctly.

  18. I only just now unlocked my first tier 8 ship, seems like I will be food for the sharks again. Suffering bottom tier MM on my way here wasn't enough apparently. I guess I'll just grind to 10 and stay there.

  20. In any case it should be limited to penetrating hits to the magazine (or torps to the general area). Also, is there any list detailing what ships are prone to detonation. Or are they all similar in thar regard?
  21. Sliding out of the smoke with my Belfast (first mistake) and not realizing my engine got knocked out (second mistake) and sitting there like an idiot wondering why it won't move. Back to port with 0 damage done.

    Something needs to be done about BBs.

    The number of players fighting each other at any one time has no relevance. That would be a terribly boring way of balancing. In many if not all shooters out there certain classes get trumped by others every single time. You can't fight a long range weapon in the open. You can't beat a shotgun wielding foe in time to kill at close range. You can argue that cruisers are too weak overall but you are oversimplifying the problem. Cruisers are weaker by design because they (1) can do everything moderately good and (2) need to pick a fight on their terms, just like a DD has to. This is where speed and concealment come in. Many cruiser players just need to learn these rules. The amount of players that give a perfect broadside is staggering. It sucks that little mistakes can be punished (I had two terrible instant delete games with 0 damage yesterday) but they are mistakes and not always punished.

    Where can you check the total number opened? I looked under the profile tab but I must be blind. 3 SC to date, twice with 250 flags and once with 50 ocean soul camo. Why are the Try Your Luck containers nearly always 5x flags when not a SC? I think I might have gotten flags every time except once. Shouldn't it be a mix of the different types of containers?
