Hi folks, I am on my first week with this game and my first game from Wargaming. I've been playing games since early 90's, majority of them multiplayer games though albeit not that many free to play games. What have struck me as an odd thing is the huge amount of inactive players in this game. Almost every single game I have, there's atleast one or two ships that are inactive and don't proceed to move until a minute or so have passed in the game. Rarely have I come across a ship that's been inactive for the whole game though. Is there any specific reason why people are just so laid back that they decide to go afk in the middle of the queue and don't return to the keyboard until some time have passed till the game started? I understand real life obligations, but as I said, I should have come across this behaviour in some other team games like Counter Strike, Dota, Starcraft etc etc. But I haven't, or atleast not to the full extend of what I am seeing here. Do they think that it's perhaps not such a huge deal missing out the first minute of the game and hence don't really care about it? Note that this is the experience I have with tier 3 up to tier 7 games. Maybe it's different in the higher tiers?
