This means rest of your cruisers have been slacking. Excluding, of course, damage done to Gorgon which can easily lead to total damage in excess of one million. -

The key to winning super hard SID is to take 4 cruisers and be very liberal with the DPM boosts. If you use the DPM boosts solely for healing you'll be lacking with damage output. -
Judging by the evidence from no-CV kots, CVs make the game more passive, stale and non-manly (like Sub_Octavian says).

In our clan I've seen Huanghe, Dunkerque, Mutsu, T-61 and Molotov drops. -
Give us a few of your replays. They're in the wows/replay -folder. Just drag and drop them to this forum and we can take a look at them. From a quick glance your survival rate is a tad on the low side. You might be a bit too aggressive and/or showing broadside in the wrong places. Nothing that a good dose of more games couldn't fix.

You hit a friendly Dresden in the distance with your torps after your death. ps. shoot torps at the marker, not towards the red ship. The marker indicates how much lead you need to take in order to hit with torpedos.

Now you should have many examples of bad DD play then. Could you please share us a replay so we can scrutinise their performance and maybe point out a thing or two which you might have missed?

The bug affects vertical aim. You're talking about horizontal aim which is unaffected by the bug.

They play for win thus they think they played well every 2 games out of 5. The other 3 games out of the 5 were lost because the team was stupid and in their mind those games were unwinnable anyways.

So do I get this right: Only idiots play DDs now? The money questions of course then are A) Why only idiots play DDs? and B) What can we do to attract more non-idiots to playing DDs? Solve that and this kind of threads don't anymore spontaneously emerge to the forums.

The problem is, spotting doesn't get rewarded by xp and credits. Thus I either go solo hunt things in my DD or play another class. Spotting is for those who want to make your game.

I liked it being fast paced and very light on organisatory stand point. We had almost constantly 2 divisions running concurrently while we sometimes struggle to get a team up for the "real" clan wars. On the "not so fun side" - The lack of tactical aspect of the game made it somewhat boring as a DD player. You simply dived in and started kicking butts and hoped your butts lasted longer than theirs.

Are your basics set right? - esc -> settings -> controls -> set alternative interface -> full - when playing game hit ctrl -> minimap gear icon up right on the minimap -> Check "ship names on the minimap" and "ship last position" - press "+" button a few times to make the minimap bigger. That's an instant 10% more damage and 5% more WR

ctrl+alt+del -> task manager -> more options -> performance Check if you can see spikes on any activity when the game lags. -
