Have you actually played any other multiplayer games recently? Especially FPS? The WoWS player base is in general quite well mannered (they may potatoe often but they are not often toxic). If you have issues with the WoWS playerbase, you may wish to stop playing online games - or get a thicker skin.

lol, I play to try to win & get better, fun comes organically that way. I find it desperately sad that as bad-average I may be, ofter my team is worse. And that I find hard to comprehend. I mean, why would you actually try to play a multiplayer game by rolling your head over your keyboard or pressing the "S" key with your nose (for BBs)?

I think you'll find that the biggest uproar with the GC potential nerf was that we didn't want WG to pump out massively OP premiums just to get the sale and then nerf-hammer them into the ground later. Also, some people bought the GC for a T5 ship and not a T6 - WG could have proposed a solution that would have pleased almost everyone with a bit of thought, but they didn't.

If you have the Irian, it's an alternative premium camo you can use. But yeah, you need the ship first to be able to mount it...

Yes, it was done for a reason - the all-knowing spreadsheet. The unfortunate part of this is sensible game balance & decision could have actually produced something balanced! WG and balance and sensible game decisions are not concepts that sit together well unfortunately.

So, RN, ITA cruisers, Black, Sims etc get a nerf - DD & CL nerf is an indirect BB buff. TBH, this discussion is a little pointless as I agree that the module needed a re-do, however, just making it a fixed detection range is lazy at best. If there are torps that need a buff, buff them individually. The module could always have given a % modifier to torp detection (as suggested in two of the posts above).

They could have adjusted the parameters of the various torpedos if there was a problem, instead of buffing BBs again. You know, actually balancing the game properly.

no, the DDs were all T6. Enterprises on both sides and a couple of T8 cruisers per side + 2 T8 BBs per side (i think). The rest, T6 - 7

If you had the option just to grind them out, you wouldn't hear many complaints - it's WG holding them back behind RNG gambling boxes that winds people up as it's obviously a "pay up to get it" thing

Dude, I also have Daring, Haru, Des Moines, Hindi, Yoshino, Thunderer & Smolensk - they just don't show on your screen grab - cause I haven't played them in Randoms yet. Also, have way more Moskva games than just 10 as I tend to play that in CB (just ask my current & previous clan!). As has been shown, your data source is not all encompassing nor is it a reliable source to judge whether a player has a ship or not. Anyway, looking forward to seeing how many HIV will be in the current season of CB - and how many Hindi there will be instead.

Yep, played it in CB (I think!) & co-op before taking it out into randoms.

As a courtesy, following a discussion from another thread on the PR, wowstats isn't wrong, just incomplete in that it is not an accurate record of who has what ship. According to the consensus, it only counts ships played in Random Battles, i.e. excluding all other battle types. As I had only played CB, co-op & training rooms with the HIV (as far as I can recall), it didn't show up, despite me having got it and played it months ago. Anyway, of greater import, I found Flamu's opinion interesting...

I didn't say it was fine, just disagreed with you that it is hopeless at its tier. It is capable when top tier but its range is a huge handicap when not. Its low RoF also makes you feel that you could always do better in another ship.

I also have a theory (now) that the over-nerf is to get people using the Hindi in the next CB season so they can get some data on the buffs they've made to it. After all it appears that CB is where they are testing new things like the 12k spotting range cyclone.

I'm sorry to have to disagree with you. You need to play it cautious, sure, and you need to know when to go dark, when to push nose in and when to kite. Myself in the T8 and my division-mate in an Edin were the last two alive in a match @ T8 that we were turning around and could have won had we not run out of time (and I only had a 6 point captain in her so no extra concealment). Tanked over 1.5M potential damage (by a combination of angling and active maneuvering and the good heal (premium heal + SI)) and did an ok amount in return. Reload does feel too slow though which limited the damage done. The range is a HUGE weakness when uptiered though - I'm fairly happy top tier in it but not in a T9 or T0 game where most targets are just beyond your effective gun range.
