    I didn't bother myself to check the classes you play but it might be new to you: it is hard to keep the steps with cruisers, especially in cases when a BB and a CA/CL is placed on one flank and the cruiser leaves you behind... Furthermore, fresh experience: T5 game, T6 CV in, a Kamikaze R came to our flank and torped 3 of us to death. CV didn't spot, didn't attack... Then she has been sunk by the Kami and started to rant that we didn't support her...
  3. If you press Alt+F4, that gives you a special ammo for 3 seconds that is able to kill such a ship.

    Quick question about ships ramming and damage dealt...

    You might not encountered this, but it's nearly impossible to ram a ship if it has torps, furthermore it's rare that a cruiser rams another one as they are faster and more manouverable than battleships. The ramming calculation is correct in the current form as speed is an important factor. (Just have a look on KGV's damage, when it collided with HMS Punjabi.)

  9. I would also appreciate another slowdown for newbies: bind premium ship buying to service level 15. I know this will not happen as vigi would lose loser's money - on the other hand, this would block newbies to crumble the game experience to the older players. I have personal experience on that new players don't know the basic game mechanics - overmatching, autobounce and so on...

    Sorry, I was not clear enough, let me explain in a more precise way. The first buff has happened because of their low popularity rate - you just clearly ignore the playerbase opinion: too boring to play but messes up other ships game experience as well. If you want an example, here it is: I played a Kremlin, my mate sat in a Yamato. The sub came to that side, continuously pinged us without any possible detection and in the meantime, DDs and CA/CLs and a Thunderer continuously burnt us, so at least I have to decide: get rid of pings with the limited amount of DCP in the Kremlin or get the homing torps from the sub and use DCP when at least 2 fires burning on my ship. The presence of the sub completely crumbled our battle as we were not able to fight against it. Furthermore, you are referring to the battle performance of the subs. You have to realize that submarines at the end of WWII were inferior to other ship classes, so the current performance for them is right (if we consider that they have to be in the current form of the game). Otherwise, they don't have a place in the game in competitive and random - if you create another game mode, where 2-3% of the whole playerbase can play subs, it's fine; just don't expect even DD-like performance because that's absolutely not right. You shouldn't have to consider the opinion of 2-3% of the playerbase to mess up the remaining 97-98%'s gameplay, mainly as you promised many-many years back that there will be no submarines in the game. The solution is easy: create a different battle type for subs or just delete them from the game entirely. Also, the stupidity of increased damage by homing torps if they hit the torpedo protection is something that is the opposite of normal human thinking; torpedo protection is there to decrease the damage of torpedo hits. Also, you didn't consider the feedback about subs from the test server - not played them should give you a clear sign that something is completely wrong with the class. But yes, continue on crumbling the game down for the invisible minority and you will lose more and more older players - sooner or later, your business model will collapse as there is a limited amount of payable customers.

    Are you kidding, @Seraphice? The community already told, that getting rid of sub ping by DCP is a really bad idea, especially with ships that have limited amount of it. I don't believe that the community asked to remove sub detection by radar. It also has been mentioned that hydro should detect them but this idea is in the /dev/null. So no, you are not listening to the community, only those 2-3%, who are playing a broken class - very similar that happened for the CVs.

    @YabbaCoe @Seraphice there was a clear statement, you expect 4-8% popularity for the subs but it's not a target number. Now we can clearly see, this was a lie again as you are buffing the class to the high skies as the popularity is not reaching your "expected" rate. In September, you also made an "important message to the community" that you will take more care of the playerbase feedback. Forcing subs into the game clearly proves, that you're not interested in the community feedback at all, so that "important message" is also a lie from the very first word to the last. MOD: one more thing. Throughout the last year, you have mentioned historical battles a lot of times. Where is this mode? Would it be far better to develop that mode instead of the new, broken class, hated by the vocal minority?

    This is where you are wrong. This class (and subs as well) has no reason for being in a game if you'd like to offer a classical surface ship MMO game. These two classes have extreme capabilities in their current form that you cannot counter with the other 3 classes, therefore make the battles unenjoyable for the others - vigi just messes up 8-11 other players game rubbish for the sake of 1-4 players' enjoyment in the battles.

    Back in the old days, these planes spotted ships and torpedoes. Today they don't spot anything, just increase your firing distance. That's why it's a f*ck logic to me developing a 3rd type of planes. No, it's waste of time, money and another opportunity for vigi to break something again...

    Amigo, it's your choice to play with a CV and it's ours to report you. You might not recognized, but CVs were the reason for other capital ships to disappear from the oceans - they were just too big, too slow. The same applies to the game: if a CV finds a BB, it is too big and too slow to escape. While you can attack it without any penalties because the BB can't see you and you are not vulnerable to fire or flooding and adding the unbelievable spotting capabilities, don't be surprised if others report you.

    This is true. However, a balanced game not excluding profit, but a much better advertisement than anything else. Don't go too far, StarCraft/2 reached their popularity because they were extremely balanced. At the same time, they were also profitable. On the release day of StarCraft 2, massive queues had been formed at the shops to be able to get the game as early as possible. Can you imagine that for a vigi game? I can't.

    Please correct me if I'm wrong, but as far as I remember, vigi stated that the popularity number for subs are just the expected one but not targeted. If I remember well, then they have lied - again. If I don't, it's still something that no one have asked for and definitely cannot state that the vast majority of the playerbase requested as the popularity number is too low. Another good reason to keep #WalletClosed.
