Just to add to this. It regularly takes a couple of hours to install updates on my laptop. Approaching Christmas I updated it as it had been a couple of months since I played it. It took 7 hours. No other game is like that, just WOWS.

I'm not sure what they've done to this game in the latest patch, but I basically spend 4-5 minutes at the beginning of each game in the loading screen. The game is ruined for me. When I do eventually connect, the game is often jerky, slow to respond and regularly freezes for a few seconds.

Me. It's one of my favorite ships since getting it.

No solution to this, then? It's incredibly annoying.

Just to bump this thread. This exact same issue is happening with me in the last few days. It affects my Yamato and Conqueror, and possibly one or two other tier x ships. Does anyone know why this is happening or is there a fix?

Just had a game there and had crazy ping. Both teams complaining of it.

I personally think she's outrageously OP and needs to be nerfed. I'll get it either way if I can, but I personally hope they nerf the hell out of it.

I recently unlocked the Yamato and absolutely love her. Almost every salvo dishes out huge damage.

Thanks for the reply. I'm currently at rank 3 in 47 (I think) games. I haven't quite hit a wall just yet but my win rate against the Tirpitz is just very low. If I had a Tirpitz I'd use it but I'm hardly going to get one just for the ranked.

Loving this ranked. I use the Mass, but I really struggle against the Tirpitz. Any tips?

It's already been said, but I also found the Pepsi, NO and Baltimore painful. The Des Moines though, absolute beast. It's tons of fun.
