    Would do the same with def aa, this would buff dds and stationary cruisers much more then this damage [edited]. @El2aZeR was nice to play against you even i took your full cv love in my dd;)

    CV rework failed every test it was set.

    Watch the kots stream and see how cv eu 1 gets 230k damage in a game vs one of the best teams full of aa ships supported by cv eu 2 (I know he still does Not win). Or check midway average damage, average kills and winrate and compare it to decent players in cvs (Not even unicums). Or check all the "features" which the new cv have. (Despawning fighters, super dbs etc.) This rework is just a super failure. It solved nothing or made it even worse. Spotting is total crap, spotting prevention is not existing, good players get strikes even into high aa ships, dds just get raped by midways, ap bombs are still unbalanced vs cruisers, late games are just farming remaining ships as fast as possible and most important its no Fun to play vs a cv or to play a cv as the gameplay is just so limited. I never got so much hate from my own team and/or the enemy Team playing cv in rts like its now. And i know some people like the new cv but they are so unbalanced and destroy the game i really dont know how to fix them @AirSupremacy we had a game today together ;)

    Funny that i agree fully with people like el2azer and you who i thought are arrogant elitist a year ago ;) And looking at the numbers people voting here one third of the people like the new cv one third like the old one and the rest just want them to go. This does Not look like a great success. I dont know about the others voting for the old cv but for me voting for the old ones i would prefer to delete them conpletely instead of keeping the current system.

    The second option of rocket planes on midway are quite good in late game you do like 10k on most bbs and at least one fire while you can rush into lone high aa targets with the superior speed.

    I really dont know how you can miss all these points. It is like you two guys are playing a different game. But why do you bring it down to rts vs now?????? Rts will never return as 90% of players are to bad to play it. Anyway all stuff i mentioned are about now and you re saying all is fine?????? So just let me explain what is wrong. - i think you got me wrong Not fighter spotting but fighters preventing spotting. You can now Spot every corner the map as you wish. - so how do you outplay a kaga with a new mex spawning next to a Buddy and a dd? While kaga is a little unfair as it had an op attack wave in rts. But balanced by weak fighters to get its strike through. do you outplay a full aa mino, henry or repu with a midway? - it rewards you with xp but xp does Not help when you re dead. Like any low hp ship which could just heal up. Def aa does Not save it now and fighters as well as you can just dive in kill and f as fighters do not follow. I really dont know why they changed the def aa panick effect, do you? - no good drops were just good drops. Hitting a moving cruiser with ap bombs was skill even ap Bombs were retard, hitting ships with torps was skill killing fighters was skill so the only rng Element involved was aa and fighter click fights. First mentioned all cv players wished to be changed, second was only a noob trap. - all the game is full of 1 vs 1. Zao vs yamato, bbs brawling so you got me wrong again Not cv vs cv but cv vs one ship. Now you have to annoy your enemy to death instead of setting a fire and a flood wait for repair and try again, or cross drop, or bait def aa. - i talk about he bombs vs dd and you say ap bombs vs cruisers doing 20k damage are fine. Are you trolling? - so how do you see a mino is full aa or no aa skill and modules? Do you count the black clouds? Or do you stop the Time for your planes to get orange? Do you have a list of all ships? - rts was easy? Thats why most players could do only a couple of games before they had to rest. - looks like i am a superhuman as i didnt get my cv into islands or Turned full broadside to all enemies when i still could control it directly AND by autopilot and supporting the fact i m super is that i am above old vs new and to the point new is totally crap.

    Rework is crap because: - Overspotting due to shitty fighter consumable and shitty way to deploy it - frustrating gameplay helpless ships with low aa helpless cv vs strong aa - unrewarding gameplay shot down planes return 30 secs later/ shot down planes dont prevent first strikes good strikes depending on rng (dot) to be rewarding. Dot is frustrating on the recieving end. - unchallenging gameplay no real 1 vs 1 situations by spreading damage Over the battelfield (except blabbing dds with retard mechanics) - retard mechanics he dbs op on dds rockets partly up vs dds. - boring and stupid mechanics shitty fighterconsumable dropped by a plane??? How about just placing a limited number of fighters via minimap????? Ah i forgot cv rework has nothing to do with consoles. - to easy ist just retard easy. The only thing which decides about skill are invisible aa values. (constant damage of aa guns. Black walls. - wg thinks players are idiots and does Not allow to control the Cv directly. And really they could have nerved cvs hard to 60k damage average at t10 and keeping the tactical play and i would still liked it. But deleting all tactics and just keeping stupid damagefarm is super retard even worse then bb as you dont have to look for positioning. And yeah Mr mod because the Cv did Not touch you its totally balanced.

    May be i got it wrong but you have like 14 solo ht cv games in rts mode (played a lot of solo games vs home and pad double mino/Monty cv divisions to know only solo is real rts:D) and no ht cv games with the new mode at all so how is your opinion of any value? In dds i only got one 14k (300m away from a wursta) hit by dbs as well but playing midway i can kill big dds like harus even sailing within the aa of cruisers. And for small ones you just wait for them to try do something usefull to kill them. And hey when they smoke up you can even hit them more easy following aa tracers or as most of them just stop while spotted hit the position at which they disappeared. The system is just super boring and annoying for cv players, like loooosing 9 planes for one attack or to be forced to drop 3 waves before attacking and for ships getting attacked 4 times with no counter play. And like ghost did say most people in the forum happy about the new cvs never made it to play the old cvs at t10. And loooosing players from clans like omni/creed/ufr and ttt which created competetive wows is a loss you cant replace so easy.

    Midway can still kill dds with dbs in 1-3 runs. So nothing changed except even yellow and green players can do it and rng is involved a little more. What changed fighters dont prevent the first drop so low targets cant be protected and dot got much more dangerous for cruisers and dds
  11. Klar gibt es in Europa schöne Plätze aus denen man optische Maps machen könnte. Leider sind die nicht wirklich gebalanced und auch unlogisch. Was sollte eine yammi oder eine midway in der nordsee, außer von landfliegern zerlegt werden. Low tier würde ganz bestimmt gehen, dort könnte man auch unsere ganzen flussmündungen verwirklichen. Southampton ist wirklich ein tolles fahrtgebiet. Aber auch german bight, hebriden und das oslofjord sind interessant. Einzige hightier map die zwar von der Logik auch keinen Sinn machen würde aber schöne inseln hätte wäre peterburg appr von der Landesgrenze bis nach Kronstadt oder bis nach leningrad. Gerade gogland hat Ja auch einiges an historie. Hier müsste man natürlich ignorieren wie tief das Wasser dort eigentlich ist. Generell sind hightier maps leider eher Pazifik und Karibik doch ich Stimme dir generell zu ich wünsche mir wesentlich mehr maps, denn 4 mal in Folge mit einem dd epicenter im schneesturm oder in der Wüste zu spielen ist nicht schön.
  12. Du möchtest also eine map in der der einzige cap von allen Winkeln beschossen werden kann und keine Deckung gibt. Dafür einige Positionen aus Deckung aufs cap wirken können Und es inseln gibt aus denen He Spammer schießen können. Also kannst du auf der map als dd nicht cappen und als bb nicht pushen sondern nur schön damage aus range farmen bis eine Seite weg ist. Klingt so wie high tier Matches mit Cv im Moment wobei hier die bbs an einer Seite meistens dank der vielen caps doch pushen.

    Well i find it much easier now to go for dds in smoke as you can exactly see where the continous aa shots are coming from. And placing a db drop on a dd is much easier and faster as to align a cross drop.
  14. Did you guys tried that in your clan already? Including cvs annoying and unbalanced as they are right now in a 7 vs 7 will exclude a lot of ships and will force most likely to either do this mino wursta smoke stuff oder to build big blobbs

    Hey Chris, ich hab die Schokikuh noch nicht gespielt aber auf der kaga werfe ich die ersten beiden Wellen direkt nach dem Start ab und kamikaze dann immer eine Welle, da beim Anflug die Flugzeuge meistens überleben. So hat man zumindest länger was von den reserven. Ist aber eher was für torpbomber da man bei den db und Raketen froh sein kann dass überhaupt 4 an das Ziel kommen.

    Also spotting nerv ist in Ordnung wie er ist, die dds findet man mit etwas suchen dennoch recht schnell. Aus der Sicht von dds ist das Spiel aber noch genau so nervig und behindert wie vorher. Der Schaden der dbs muss aber noch mal gebalanced werden kleine us dds und ihre chinesischen kopien sind mit 2-3k Treffern in Ordnung die größeren und vor allem die ijn und deutschen nehmen zum Teil aber gerne mal 10-15k mit und das ist auf jedenfall nicht mehr in Ordnung. Gerade die ijn kanonenboote werden einfach weg geklickt. Die aa ist vollkommen kaputt. Mit der kaga kann ich eine new Mex farmen ohne angst zu haben verliere bei einer colorado 20 Flieger in 3 anflügen was vollkommen in ordnung ist und yammis sind no fly Zonen geworden. Im late game sind cv dann super broken. Gerade wenn Schiffe mit weniger aa übrig bleiben werden diese nur noch gefarmt und Führungen kann man auch nicht mehr safen weil man überall gespotted wird. Die alten cvs fand ich selbst wenn man einen bot im Team hatte nicht so störend wie die neuen. Und ihr OM Leute solltet mal etwas netter sein zu euren mitspielern ihr hattet am Ende weniger xp als beide Träger und das mit 10er Schiffen. ;)

Hello, yes i know its another one about the cv rework, but as i experienced that all stuff you post in existing topics just gets overhelmed by the huge amount of spam, so i will make this my own thing. I played like 500 games since the rework in all classes (cruisers only very little as i have them all on t10 already). So just lets get started. I will not speak about the problems so much but more about solutions which are easy to implement. I know from streams and youtube WG hates some of the ideas, but still i want to put some pressure on them, as the game as it is right now is hardly fun. general - remove rpf from planes | not many cv players take the skill but against dds its to powerfull, not in a match deciding factor as you have to sacrifice 4 points but just to destroy dds gameplay totally for one game. - give control over the cv by arrows on the keyboard | i know "nope" but reducing speed, reversing and turning is just essential to a ship, and yes i know consoles dont have arrow keys! - improve secondaries on all cvs to fight off dds (range and acc) | this will come close with nerving the effectiveness of cvs versus dds (rocket planes and dbs) - implement a 30 - 45 secs delay when the game started to get your planes ready | getting killed in your own spawn is just super frustrating Spotting - Reduce air detection of all ships by 10% | this will help all classes, dds will not get perfectly dropped by rocket planes as they can not get the perfect sized drop cricle, cruisers will be not spotted that early and for bbs it will make it harder for the cv to spot all team in the beginning. This should change should not include wursta and mino as they both hit you so hard as soon as the flak starts so you should not be lured into its aa before you cant avoid it anymore. - disable spotting for fighters except for guns shooting or aa working on the fighters | pretty easy one, fighters spot to much. This change will still enable the cv to spot the ships hiding behind an island and spamming at other ships but it will prevent permaspotting of dds or caps - reduce air detection of cvs | an easy one as well, cvs are much to fragile to get permaspotted by planes, they cant control their ship - enable when close range aa opens up in smoke the ship gets spotted | i know this was already "nope" by wg and i m not sure about how it will turns out but i really think forcing strong aa shipst to think about if they want to shoot down planes or stay undetected would give the game much more depth - allow cvs to see ships in reduced visibility when they have their aa off (cyclone and this round thing) | i dont think this is working as intended right now F- key - bring back the f key as it was before but force the player who used it to get a 30 - 45 secs delay on the same plane type. | this will prevent players just to throw torp bomber over a mountain but will stop planes which would be safe get killed by stupid ai flying into a mino on the return. - after a full squad wipe add a 30 - 45 secs delay to the planes wiped AA - nerv aa on bbs | especially on ships which are not ment to have good aa ( germans, and battlecruisers like stalin!!!!!), but as well on the frenchies and british ones. BBs should not be untouchable for a cv even going alone, they should be an easy target as it is ment to be! Further this forces all cvs to go for dds and cruisers which for me is just not working as intended - improve short range aa on dds but nerv long range aa (strong aa within air spotting range) | give dds the ability to defend themselves but not become no fly zones - improve aa range and effectiveness on cruisers | i hope this will prevent the big clusters of bbs sitting next to the cv - def aa should panic planes again but not increase continous damage | this will make def aa much more a teamplayer instead of just destroying cvs squad. In the current state the cruiser shoots down planes but the cv gets its drop off , so both are annoyed. After one minute the cv returnes and the cruiser is even more annoyed. So the current system just kills the fun for all. - make def aa charges infinently, premium will reduce cooldown, give atlanta no cooldown Annoying stuff - reduce attack waves | i know the super game designer is very proud about the idea of multible attack waves BUT, for low aa targets it becomes just an endless harrassment, when up to 6 waves of torp bombers or 4 waves of rocket planes are not stopping to attack and for cvs its just super unfun to sacrifice all planes to get one attack over a mountain. - reduce damage of HE bombs to dds. | Skilled cv players can almost one shot a dd with DB which i think is not working as intended, same for the UK bombs, they look very easy to use and deal huge amount of damage to dds. (talking about skilled cv players vs non skilled) ;) - balance damage from rockets | sometimes rockets do almost 20k damage to bbs or >7k to dds while other cvs cant even do 2k to dds and only slight damage to bbs. This really should be balanced as rockets are just to universal to be not balanced in the lines. - increase damage from ap bombs | ap bombs are just super useless, you get 10k? damage on a bb while all your planes get killed. This should be really balanced so damage done or survivablity is increased. This should not end like AP bombs killing cruisers in one shot!!!!!!!!!!! - look at xp and credit factors of cvs Fighters - reduce activation time | you can boost just through a fighter which is placed in front of you - reduce time to aquire a target | same as above, they should already work when the first attack comes in. - increase aquvisition range | crircles are just to small 150% should look nice (i know wg "nope") - increase damage and speed | when you get an enemy into your fighters he really should pay for it so not even the F key should not rescue the squad - provide more charges or give every line only one plane type which can call fighters but you will have endless charges - when a counter fighter gets dropped half of the fighters will delay the counter half of them will continue killing attack planes and follow them, with half damage Reading it again gives me the impression i really hate bbs :D, but in the current meta they are just to strong and the only one who do not suffer from the contious spotting meta. still they camp even harder or just suicide yolo into a cap when the dd plays safe. I think this is less connected to the cv but to island he spammers getting continous intel while countering all plane spotting with their aa which i m still working out how to counter. I really would appreciate your thoughts on this and find anybroken stuff without putting to much hate at me Best regards nico

    All wg is forcing now is, all players sit behind islands wait for something getting spotted, spam as much as you can on it and hope you will get this one cap which now decides the game, or you re at least in the team which wins within 10 minutes.

    Und dann Spiele mal mit einem uk Träger. Der kann einem dd schon gerne 10k in einem Anflug ohne viel Aufwand drücken. Und damit haben wir dann wieder die alte Situation. Einige wenige Spieler haben Spaß dran den Rest nervt es.

    Es muss doch eigentlich gar nichts verändert werden. Die cv sterben im Moment schneller aus als die Dinosaurier und wenn es mal einen Gibt dann sind sie gleich zu viert mit ihrer endlosen Kette an Flugzeugen damit wirklich gar keiner Spaß daran hat und das Match auch schnell vorbei ist.
  24. naja das problem scheint sich von selbst gelöst zu haben. hatte in 10 spielen einen cv und der war ein bot der straight in den gegener gefahren ist. also alles working as intended!
  25. I m Not sure if this is surprise or you disagree but i will specify as i m Not sure about cyclones but for this round moving thing its true for sure. At least for dds. Dont have aa switched off in other ships and did Not meet any ships with deactivated aa.
