Years old problem: Disconecting every match around 12-8 mins left.
AdmiralYatsumi posted a question in Tech Corner
This is probably going to be a long one but I am just going to take another shot at it. About 4 years ago I started to have problems with the game. Here is how the game behaves: Almost in every single match, be it Co-Op or Random, the starts to behave like it's losing its connection. The curious part is, this always seems to happen between 12-8 minutes remaining time. Sometimes I only disconnect once, sometimes twice. Now, here is where the drama started: I made contact with Wargaming Support, I did everything they asked me back then. I provided the ping plotter, I removed any and all mods, I followed the instructions for making exceptions to my firewall, etc., etc. I think we pretty much-covered everything in the book. The most frustrating thing back then was that nothing worked, and they kept on asking the same questions over and over again. To a point where, after a full month of daily back-and-forth, I decided to just quit. It was obvious to me that the people at the tech-support just have no clue what they are doing. I decided to stop playing at the time and hoped that a future update would solve the issue. I retried this several times in the course of the past 4 or so years. I even made new accounts and tried on Steam. To no avail, even on Steam, I get the exact same issue. Even today, the problem persists and with new tricks, I found on the internet I tried everything again. I even went as far as to completely re-install my entire computer, as it was having other issues as well. So I basically made sure my PC was 'new'. Over the years my internet connection has also been improved. When I do a speed test I get about 17ms, 610 Mbps download, and 40 Mbps upload. So the connection is A-OK. What is worth noting, I do not have this problem when I play the game on my laptop in the same house. On my laptop, I can play to my heart's content. But I can't help but feel salty not being able to play it on my main gaming PC with proper graphics and everything. What I also don't get is why the laptop has no issues, but the PC does. Mind, the PC is connected to a cable, which the laptop is not. But I honestly no longer think that the issue has something to do with the internet. Since the problem persisted, I was contemplating retrying my luck with the tech support, so I went ahead with the whole ping plotter stuff, but as I was playing and received a DC, I noticed that the ping plotter was not registering any MS anomalies. As if the connection was never having an issue. So I abandoned my thought of reaching out to tech-support as I know they won't be able to help if they can't see a problem and I just am not up to go through that entire rollercoaster with them again. Finally, I even tried playing on the NA servers, but even there the issue remained. So here it is, I lay my final hope on the people of the forums. Here is a summary of what I tried in the past: Reset router, reinstall PC, disable the firewall, make exception rules in firewall, installed the game on steam, reached out to tech-support, removed mods, installed the game on a laptop, updating and re-installing drivers. It could be that I am forgetting a few steps but I think these are the most common and major ones. I will provide my PC specs, although I doubt one can do much with it. So, with all this said and done, I hope somebody maybe knows a solution that hasn't been tried yet. If this once again fails, then I think I will have to be content with my laptop and perhaps in the future, if I ever buy a new PC, try it again.- 2 replies

I shall try to be brief here. In literally every game I play on World of Warships, I always DC somewhere mid-match. As you may get, this is bloody frustrating since you can't afford to DC for 30 seconds in a game. Somtimes you get lucky and are not in the danger zone but most of the time you are and people take advantage of you because you are an easy target that cannot fight back. These DCs never happen at the start or end of the battle, always in the middle. Here are my PC specs since I figure it might be important. Windows 10 Processor: Intel® Core i7-6700K CPU @ 4.00 GHz RAM: 16GB Systemtype: 64 Bits Operating System x64 processor I think that should be all, I am not a very technical guy and even had to look up how to find this stuff. Now, I have struggled with Wargaming regarding this issue for over a month and those clowns there keep telling you to perform certain checks that yield no result. I don't know how often I did these so called "WG-check Reports". In any case they let me do stuff for a straight month which was constantly the same thing and I seriously cannot be bothered with WG's Helpdesk because you get treated like you are a moron. So I turn here in the hopes someone else can help me. The help desk blames my connection is the issue since these reports show a spike in the line each time I start a match and right at the moment when I DC. But my connection, cannot be the case because first of all: This issue only happens in World of Warships and no other game I play. I shall put down a speedtest of my internet here: Ping: 13ms Download: 311.55Mbps Upload: 31.06 Mbps So my internet connection is rather good. It is connected per cable so no wireless shenanigans are at work. The Helpdesk then went to blame mods. Well, I can tell you, they are not the case. I deleted the game and installed no mods and still the DCs happen. Regardless whether or not I use mods or not. So that cannot be the issue as well. I think this is the 'brief' summary of things. I hope someone is able to see more than those clowns at the WG-Helpdesk.

Disconnecting in Literally every single match.
AdmiralYatsumi replied to AdmiralYatsumi's question in Tech Corner
I have contacted support. And we kept contact for a FULL month (and I actually still have the posts as word file). The annoying thing was you constantly got another person that tried to help you and you end up sending filed 6 times anew with the same result: none. I honestly lost count how often I send a WGCheck report or that other thing I had to download and send a report from. And each time the issue remained unsolved. So after a month I gave up because I got too annoyed by the support who constantly ask the same questions and expect different answers. I have been told as well about 'when more people have it there will be an investigation'. I have been nosing through the net a bit and also asked in game a few times if people had the issue and here and there were a few that had similar issues with no solution. -
Disconnecting in Literally every single match.
AdmiralYatsumi replied to AdmiralYatsumi's question in Tech Corner
We are positive that the issue is on WG's side. I already spoke to people who have a great knowledge about this stuff including even my former IT (ICT in the netherlands) teacher. And several friends who have insight in this kind of thing. But Wargaming is too damn stubborn to see their own fault. The country ISP should be no issue since several of my friends who play the game as well, have no issue and they have the same provider as I do. -
So I noticed a few days back I can actually use 2 types of airplanes on my Nagato (I know I suck for not noticing). But now I am puzzled with the following... Which of the two is better. I personally would take the Fighter, but I am not actually sure if it can spot torpedoes in the water. If it does I likely will take it since I barely need the extra range for my main guns. What do you guys think?

Disconnecting in Literally every single match.
AdmiralYatsumi replied to AdmiralYatsumi's question in Tech Corner
Yes we tried this several times. It shows an increase of latency when I start the game and somewhere in the middle of a match. But never elsewhere. The helpdesk let me perform this test 6 times or so as if they thought giving them this information would solve the issue. They said I had to contact my provider and I did this twice as well. And in both occasions the provider stated the issue is not on my end. The connection is just good. I also re-installed my driver and updated it with the latest patch, but this was to no avail either. -
Disconnecting in Literally every single match.
AdmiralYatsumi replied to AdmiralYatsumi's question in Tech Corner
It would appear nobody knows the issue or how to fix it. Therefore I suppose I should quit playing the game until Wargaming manages to get their servers back on track, since I personally think that's the issue. -
As main BB player I started to wonder something? What is better? Or in which scenario should you fire all guns at once (Salvo) or Fire each gun sepperately after another? What are the pros and cons of doing either?
-
I should probably rephrase it. Do you guys fire a salvo or keep your mouse button pressed in and shoot all guns one after another without stopping to click? XD

Since my request for help has been ignored in the general forum I try it again here. I know now 100% for certain that my Disconnections from the game are not on my side. I run no mods, I have re-installed the game. I ger my internet through the cable. And no other game that I play has any issue with disconnections. Neither does World of Tanks. World of Warships MUST have a bug that causes a disconnection in basically every game I play. And they usually happen every 5 minutes. I basically DEMAND help from a representative now...

Ever since I played World of Warships I have to go through the tenius [edited]of having DCs in almost every game exactly every 5 minutes. It cannot be my internet because this happens only in Warships and I have kable connection. So I first thought this was due to mods I might have installed, but after removing them it remained either way. So after that, I went to re-install the game completely, same result. What is going? Has anyone else this issue?
