    Nope. Got the normal, non-radioactive indicators. Did you change your graphics-settings (ingame or in general) recently ? New Hardware/drivers (auto-update) ?

    Then there are the folks, that only think you are doing dumb stuff, because they think they notice something every few minutes when they glance around or recently died and haven't seen the situation develop, thus missing the bigger picture. Granted, that's a minority,so it's prolly best to go with Namolis here. If they can explain your mistakes and it makes sense to you improve it, otherwise treat it as a waste of time. Else, if you're looking for hints on how to play your ships well maybe check out Flamu (if you haven't already)

    Game disconnection for half the team

    Had that problem this morning. Multiple disconnects (up to 5) per match. Though in my case i seemed to be the only one affected on both teams. (small sample size though, i gave up on playing like this after 3 matches)

    Not only you or your solojourning compatriots. This game prolly already lost many brave BB-sailors, foremost among them North Carolina and Iowa captains, who got sick of being nuked for sailing broadside on to another BB at 12km. Let's pray for those brave souls and their cruiserly bethrens that gave up playing on the Nürnberg or Pepsi for the same reason. In omnibus seats are free. Amen [edit]: Sry, i shouldn't have.     Karma system lol

    Pretty sure you can at least get chat-bans if your Karma goes sufficiently low. But yeah, would be nice to get something like that. Or yanno, just some small goodies if you net- gained Karma in a given week/month from other ppl (e.g. not in your clan to prevent abuse) Then again you get more reports, which is kind of nice since you have little else (Dronestrike-option! WG when ?!?)

    Let's not even start about t5 cvs... on the positive side no once can call those OP. AA-scaling does mean CVs tier a bit differently (maybe the situation is a bit like bbs with the overmatch on other bb-bows) Doesn't mean a bottom tier cv is useless, you can do fairly well/ok assuming you can pick off isolated ships with not too strong aa. And about the counter by teamplay-part i totally agree. Actually, i'm pretty sure i wrote that. And again, please stop with the ad-hominem stuff everyone. It rarely helps and just clutters the thread.

    Will y'all tone down the ad-hominem stuff already ? So, can we all at least agree on some basics, such as: -CVs in the right hand (and with sub-par opposing CV) can be very strong - " are countered by basic teamplay -AA is too random (/build-dependent) and needs a rework -Hakuryu and Taiho are overperforming -UNS loadouts (t7-9) need a rework

    Same sentiment as your above statement: "I wish CVs would bugger off and leave me alone" I mean maybe you could try to introduce a separate game-mode for that but i don't seehow it could be popular/fun.

    Actually no. He's reasonably competent imo. So unless try_harder is significantly better it should still be helpful. Also i don't know too many YTs that do those kind of vids, so if you know a good review from a good cv-player feel free to link it. (Please don't tell me Farazelleth has done an actual review of the Kaga, i'd die of shame ^^)

    First of all: No, not at the moment. You haven't told us how experienced you are, which lines you play, how good you are in them, which lines/ships you enjoy and what your usual and your favourite playstyle is. So i'd agree with quallo: Think about what you like and then watch some reviews/commentaries on the ships to find the one that fits most. Flamu or Ichase (for the Kaga) could be a good place to start.

    Update 0.6.7 Bug Reports

    1. Description Getting random disconnects during ranked and random games while internet connection is otherwise completely unproblematic. Checking game integrity resulted in no change. Update: another dc occured while trying to collect a container. 2. Reproduction steps Start a random or ranked match Play, get disconnected for no apparent reason, press login, load back into game, rinse repeat (happened one time while spectating after own death) 3. Result Ping drops to -35ms (from around 30-40) while my orders aren't executed, after a few seconds usually drop to Login-screen (one time normal connectivity was restored in time and i could remain in the match, one time client crashed completely) Upon Login get loaded into the same battle again and can resume playing without problems for a bit. 4. Expected result Normal connectivity 5. Technical details For first occurence see 1st match, confirmed on live and PTS Bug times: 1st match: 0:50, 0:55, 0:59, 2nd match: 5:39, 5:43, 5:52, 5:57 3rd match: 6:25, 6:30, 6:38 Container: 6:41 crashes.rar replay_multiDC.rar python.rar DxDiag.rar

    Ranked Battles Season 7 - General Feedback

    With the Belfast, improved Indianapolis, Atlanta and Flint ? Even disregarding the upcoming Shiratsuyu nerf, which makes breaking the smoke-meta even harder, that's... So sure mate brilliant plan. A smoke- and cover-heavy meta and the only radar is on premium ships. If anything i'd say t8. At least the ships there are pretty balanced.

    Had that one as well 1-2 days ago. Got kicked out of queue with that mesage. Luckily no stars lost and could get into a proper ranked battle immidiately after.

    *Edited Now to more productive things, like plotting world domination or cooking dinner. Back to topic: How to farm dmg in a bb: 0) Ideally div up with a dd 1) Push up as far as you can without overextending (ideally with nearby cover to safely disengage) 2) Use guns. 3) If incoming dmg is unsustainable fall back, repair rinse and repeat One would think the basic idea is pretty simple ain't it ?

    I don't think you have more morons in ranked. You just have less players on the team to conceal/make up for their failures. And some of those are truly outstanding. Maybe only possible because there's less ppl to delete them for doing it. Imo it usually helps to try to outline what's expected at the beginning: Which cap, play it safe, user cover, no stupid pushed ect. And from Rk5 up the teams usually know what they're doing. (or maybe i just haven't met the true potatos yet) Then again it's not like i'm a unicorn or anything. Yesterday i pushed out of a smoke in my Leander to hopefully either catch or drive away the enemy dd and get on b on Trident. Enemy warspite was sailing around an island and i figured i could keep that thing between us... his AP said "no" and "thank you". Thx again to Negativvv for the carry+save on that one

    Description: Dmg against atlanta appears to not have been counted for the purpose of weekly mission: [edit]: dmg was properly credited several battles later. Reproduction: Play random battle in Baltimore (while another one of my ships was in battle) (so far single occurrence) Result/expected result: Progress not shown in Mission until way later, would expect prompt update of goal.

    Let me apologize for the sarcasm, but i'm unable to read your mind and most ppl i saw suggesting that were just mad at cvs. (also only my first paragraph was directed at you, the rest was more of a generalized venting) But imo there are several arguments against a "very good" auto-drop as well. First, getting brilliant drops off without any skill makes is a bit unfair for the other ships. If a cv wants to nuke you he should have to put in some work. (also getting that drop of can be sooo satisfying ^^) Secondly you loose the ability to use long drops, smoke-drops and target different sections of the enemy with dive-bombers. Which makes it harder tomaximize dmg on a stationary/beached target and attack aa-heavy targets that can't avoid. Also less potential fires (if you can micro that) and you're again left with little to no counter against smoked up ships. But mostly if you loose manual drops it makes cv-play less interesting. You'll be mostly left with waypoints, spotting, reading the map and the fighter-micro. Sure, that makes it less demanding but also less engaging in my opinion. Your mileage may ofc vary.     Sure. If you change the speed of every torp to 40kts, change the dispersion of every gun to 500m@10km and their sigma to 1.0. (Brilliant idea anyway, because that would mostly get rid of the sniping ) I mean i can usually dodge auto-drops in a *self-censored*-battleship without any big problems, they are mostly useless against anyone who knows how to react. And don't give me the cross-drop argument. Sure it works (kind off) but 1) even that is sketchy at best against more nimble ships 2) hurray, you've hit 1-3 out of 8. totally worth the 2-3 min of flying to and fro and reaming. Yes, t4-5 cvs were op when played well. So is an Ishizuchi, a Nikolai, a Clemson, a Nassau, a Kamikaze and i could go on. Not to the same extent mind you, but any cv (assuming he's not bottom tier) can be a major force if the opposition is bad. My point is: Great, you've successfully eliminated sealclubbing from those cvs by ruining them. Now please do the same for the other popular sealclubbing ships. If you want to balance it maybe give them slower torpedos with less alpha, make the manual patter a bit wider, increase the radius of the commitment region (sry don't know the exact term here), maybe reduce the size of the squads. There are any number of options that don't make those ships boring as hell and (mostly) useless against any non-noob. Plenty of things you could try that won't make ppl take their first look at cvs and give up/get bored immidiately. Even better: Introduce a mandatory cv-tutorial abour strafes and manual dropping, so the skill difference won't be that great in the first place. It is sad if i can clear-sky an as-ranger because he has no clue that strafing exists and why are my planes falling our of the sky ?. Disclaimer: Yes i'm salty as all hell, even though i don't really have any stakes in this. rnat, High priestess of the order of the receding waffle.

    You forget that everything IS the CVs fault. Always. That's just a fact ^^ And i guess salt is one of the things you'll never get out of ranked, especially with no div-mates to vent to. But beind an a** after battle is kind of stupid. Giving hints and advice sure, just hurling insults is petty -.-

    Questions about ranked

    A well-played ship will usually be a bigger help than a badly-played one, even if that ship is the "better" one. Ranked (especially in the 5-2-bracket) usually has a pretty smoke-heavy and passive meta. Especially last season with all the belfasts, fijis and the odd flint in the mix. It basically comes down to how well a specific ship fits into the meta. Let me give some examples (with patented russian bias ^^) E.g. Russian dds are usually to be avoided since they are bad at contesting caps and bring less firepower and utility than a cruiser. Similarly russian cruisers need time to do dmg from long range and friendlies to take the fire, both of which are often sparse in ranked. Usually you can figure out if one of your ships would be a good pick if you've played a bit in the season to get a feeling and think about it. if you want a (at that point speculative) opinion from somebody with more authority i'd recommend Flamu: And about the other question: No. Which rank you reached this season only influences with how many stars/at what rank you start next season. It does not affect which tier(s) will be used in the next season by you or anyone else (except as an entry in wgs statistics). What i meant to say is that at Rank 1 you basically play in a different league (only against other Rk1s), usually with a different tier as well. They had something similar in "normal" ranked a while ago where it switched from t6 to t8 at rank 15 i believe ? It's been a while. This season if you reach rank 1, any further ranked will be at t8 and instead of the prizes for reaching a higher rank you'll get other goodies (free container for being among the top 2 in your team when playing during the evening/early night)
