Can confirm errors in battle reports. 1. Description results screens wrong on all but team-list-screen on the majority of battle reports (1920x1080) 2. Reproduction steps enter combat report (forgot wether it is faulty in the post-battle screen as well, will check tomorrow) 3. Result results screens mis-aligned and -cut (summary to the top, rest to the right) 4. Expected result normal reports 5. Technical details screenshots for faulty alignment (1 example battle among almost all) screenshot (correctly displayed part):

Funny and sad game situations shown with map screenshots.

Naturally my (almost) entire team lost to the 5 ships at C. Just cuz. -
Dunno if it works in replays but the only thing that could help is the free camera command: Ctrl + Shift + Backspace You might have to left-click once to unlock the camera from the recorded direction before using it though.

1) Stock Furutaka is pretty horrible because the guns suck. It's still massively tanky compared to it's competition. c.f. here for example: 2) @El2aZeR I think your powers are needed here. ^^ jezaz more than 3 years

But that's only because nobody is doing the only thing that can mitigate it: More weapons. Cuz the only thing stopping a bad blue with a gun is a good blue with an MLRS. Or a bunch or HVARs. On that note: US-planes need more rockets. About 5x as many. Because 1) it prevents team dmg. (see above proof) 2) Freedom.

Then you just need to open your own SMALL BUSINESS *heavenly choirs* That way you don't even get employee benefits have all the freedoms you could ever imagine. Pull yourself up by your bootstraps! And no i don't care that that violates some basic laws of physics. Even Baron Münchhausen managed it and he was one of 'em dirty socialist germans ^^ Back to Midway: Historically Jesus granted America air superiority at the end of WW2, so that should be reflected in the game. Any foreign plane that comes near it should be stuck down by God's wrath immidiately. (no, by that i don't mean a full-aa Worchester)

Clearly this shouldn't be a discussion from the point of envy about who does or who does not own massive fleets of attack aircraft. Rather we should use this opportunity to cut taxes on the hard-working jet-owning american middle-class. This will cut the federal deficit by bringing in less money and leave more money for jet fuel to improve the economy and fight isis in Nebraska.

In that case i guess the last one didn't show up since it was at the end of the list. Most likely we're dealing with a rework-artifact here. Since the 4 premium CVs were replaced if they count as "researched, but not bought" ships the massages make sense.
-
If it was purely an artifact of the CV-rework i would expect either 2 or 4 tbh. Did you purchase/get any premium CV before the rework or did unlock/buy any regular cv before the rework ? Or (if you remember) could you tell us what the other 2 ships were ? To the part of your question i can answer: Kaga is a premium ship. If you didn't have it until now you won't get it for free and won't be able to buy it until 8.2
-
Because CVs were a line for a niche audience so far ´(=> low priority) and the first two navies in the game were the IJN and USN, which already sported a full carrier complement. Also they have been reworking CVs for more than a year now and haven't released any new CVs while that was ongoing. RN CVs are scheduled for 8.1 or 8.2 though. So your answer is: It simply hasn't happened yet.
-
Last evening of proper CVs. Why did all my teams time-warp in from patch-weekend though T_T
-
You can no longer earn any Guineas, the corresponding event ran from patch 7.9 to 7.11. As Pete mentioned you can get the rest from the premium shop, but if you intend to do so, you should hurry. Guineas will be removed and converted into credits as soon as 8.0 hits, which is in ~6 hours.

It only gives you the direction in terms of a sector of relative heading (say e.g. ~0°-45° wr. to your camera direction) The heading is purposely kept vague to make sure you can't extract exact information about what the closest enemy is doing and you have to make educated guesses. Otherwise that skill would be completely and utterly broken.

Which ship should I choose to fight American cruisers
rnat replied to Ive_got_the_ships's topic in Cruisers
There, fixed it. ^^ As the others said, basically any open-water type cruiser can utterly dominate the USN ones at range IF someone keeps them spotted for you or they are dumb enough to engage you. Hinden, Zao and Henri would be my favourites in that order, though the USSR CLs with IFHE are pretty good at it too if they get the chance. For BBs basically any will do fine as long as your aim is good (take spotter to aim for muzzle-flashes if needed) with GK being the worst at it unless you can catch one by pushing a flank/ect. before it can disengage and reposition. Though like the Yama it can tank those buggers for ages ^^ -
I don't think any of us believed you think that ship would have been a good idea. I mean you literally called it a "stupid idea" yourself. In any case please excuse my strong reaction, to me it sounded like you were unjustly putting blame on us (specifically me) for actually answering your question in a serious way as i took it for granted that the underlying ship-proposal was silly, so it didn't occor to me, that you could intend to clarify that point. I hope i did and as i said, you wrote it was stupid when you proposed it. I called it ludicrous and even attempted a lame joke (or two) I was assuming everyone had a tacit agreement it was a silly to start with.
-
You kidding me ? You were LITERALLY asking how it would do against a WW2 and a modern navy: One of my main points is that a WW2 navy (and possibly a modern navy) would presumably try to starve it if it got anywhere away from shore and that that would be feasible since a) it would be a nightmare to resupply (needs massive amounts of ressources, can't get into port) b) it would presumably be very slow. How am i supposed to explain my answer without making those 2 points ? What else would i base my answer on, if not the, let's call it "SUPER-FÖHRAR"s extrapolated properties ? And may i remind you, that my post was a direct answer to your previous one ? So: Am i supposed to take your question seriously and answer it as you wanted, while it giving reasons for my arguments OR am i supposed to not take your question seriously, and call this "dumb idea" (your words) the deranged offspring of WH 40k mating with HMS Habbakkuk and leave it at that ? Your choice. But honestly, just between the two of us: the Czars hovering above the wreck and the Illuminati comment did not make it clear that i didn't take your proposal seriously ? Don't make me get my Pen and calculator.
-
Most of me wants to face you in the skies for a final honorable joust.
-
Because it sounds stronger than steel and we have no Orihalcum or Mithril ? In all seriousness, considering physics this proposal is too preposterous to ponder the chosen material much.

If you insist sir. Its internal spaces would most likely be safe be safe from the bombs (though to be on the safe side, you'd maybe prefer tungsten, denser armour has better stopping power at the cost of even more weight) Your flight decks would get some big dents though => unusable and most surrounding mounts would at least take considerable damage. Repeated hits could penetrate the deck. As you've already said it would be a completely retarded idea, the ship would be massive, ridiculoulsy unmaneuverable and prolly have a bad operational range. (if only due to the MASSIVE draught needed for such a big and top-heavy thing to not capsize and the need to feed and fuel it and it's crew until it gets anywhere) Not to mention it'd prolly have too much draught to get into many harbours without grounding, not even talking about the billion other problems that kind of size brings with it. So any reasonable (since you basically gave your ship "infinity +1" armour, firepower and AA) WW2 fleet would just run away from/evade it after the first engagement (or however it learns about that monstrosity), until you ran out of something and had to give up. It would probably sink a few ships with aircraft in the meantime, but that depends on what aircraft you have loaded and how many you are willing to burn. Also GL getting resupplied if all the enemy has to do is keep track of its approximate location with e.g a radar-picket (ship/plane) and can run rings around it and its tenders. Chances are they could wear it down with repeated submarine-strikes over a long timeframe (unless it had more modern anti-submarine aircraft) as the belt "realisitally" can't extend all the way to the bottom. A modern military would just send a bunch of subs and torp it into oblivion and there's nothing it could do about it. Otherwise modern bunker-busters woud prolly do the job, but that would mean sending an awful lot of planes against that AA, over the horizon missiles are usually not designed to work against hardened (and "mobile") targets so most of those will have little bang for the buck so among the usual assets submarines and land-based stealth-bombers with a bigger payload are imo the most reasonable alternative. Either that or starve it (again) since it's not a big threat to anything but it's immediate surroundings. (WW2 planes against modern air defense+interception go "poof" ) An even more modern military: *side note: radars ect. can't have metallic armour along their "face" / field of view without ceasing to function so gl protecting your surveillance and fire-control during an attack.

Nope. Purchasing them would only give back the full cost in Credits (and free exp if you research some modules you don't have yet), so it's a zero sum game anyway. You COULD use it to retrain some captains, as any captain on a CV will get a free respec when the update hits. But afik there'll be a period where any captain can be respecced for free. Does anyone have a source on that ? I can't find it atm.
