    I mean Midway in general is more versatile just because of the DBs since going for DDs with rockets is a waste of time because of all those verious questionable changes. That's why Haku is much more MM dependent than Midway since you want as few DDs as possible because you are not very efficent in dealing with them. On the other hand the AP DBs are really strong against big ships, like I played Haku in CBs against Cloud (a good russian clan) and they had two Stalingrads on one flank. After 5 mins i had farmed 140k out of both with AP DBs with one being dead, wouldn't have happened that fast in a Midway.

    You do understand the concept behind them, right? If you talk about a 20k HE DB hit that's almost as perfect as it gets, so take that with a fire on a BB for ~30k dmg in total with proper fire reduction. Then we compare that to a perfect drop with Haku AP DBs which do 25,5k dmg. Out of those 25,5k dmg you can heal 2550 dmg as a BB because it's citadel dmg while you can heal 20k HP back from the ~30k Midway HE DB drop instead... Comparing them from base damage makes no sense since the source of damage applied is totally different.

    CVs sind einfach broken

    Das ist weder ein Bug, noch ein Exploit... Mit dem Rework wurden die DBs dahingehend verändert das Ballistik etc eine Rolle spielen und das ist auch von WG extra angesprochen worden und so gewollt. Seitliche Drops wurden vor allem auf midtier IJN CVs genutzt um leichte Kreuzer zu zitadellen, da die Bomben, wie in dem Fall normale Geschosse, die Zitadellenpanzerung von der Seite durchschlagen. Das einzige was hier mal wieder verwunderlich ist, ist die Tatsache wie wenige sich überhaupt mit der ganzen Thematik auseinandersetzen wenn sowas erst jetzt diskutiert wird...
  4. Das kommt daher, dass Rockets seit jeher underperformen. Sie wurden von PTS3 -> live so dermaßen generft, dass es keinen Sinn mehr gemacht hat DDs mit Attackplanes anzufliegen da der Schaden maginal war und trotzdem haben die Leute rumgeheult... 2-3k Schaden pro Anflug ist ein Witz und Zeitverschwundung und kein guter CV fliegt DDs überhaupt an wenn er bessere Ziele hat. Die Leute haben sich beschwert das ein CV sie nach und nach immer wieder angeflogen hat und sie dann gesunken sind, nach vielleicht 3x mit ner kompletten Staffel anfliegen (ohne weiteren Support) und das hat dann mal locker ~5 Minuten gedauert oder länger je nach Map etc... Und jetzt sind wir an einem Punkt wo das Concealment so gut ist, dass es noch wesentlich länger dauert die DDs überhaupt zu finden + dann den Drop durchzuführen, sodass es absolut ineffizient ist mit irgendwas außer USN DBs auf DDs zu gehen, sprich IJN CVs sind eh gekniffen wenn es dann dazu kommt. Die CVs die die gegnerischen DDs anfliegen sind die, die euch vermutlich das Spiel verlieren gegen einen gleichguten CV der diese die ersten 3/4 des Spiels ignoriert.

    I don't understand most stuff you wrote there tbh... How I would explain MM where one entire team ends up with less than 600XP? Pretty simple, MM found 11-12 potatoes and put them in one team and then they got stomped. If you would look through ppl stats after the games you realize that most ppl are really really bad and that's why those stomps happen more often than they should because MM doesn't care about skill at all, only about ships.

    That may come as a surprise to you but for me there is a difference in having 50% WR with 2.000 battles and 50% WR with 13.000 battles. Both have 50% WR true but the guy with 13k battles is obviously way worse than the other guy. And regarding OP I wasn't only refering to his stats, I saw this potato actually in battle as well and that's why I wrote here...

    You are bad! That is a fact, so I fail to see how you think you have the right to complain about your teams! You died against no opposition in your Yamato in the early game... There were a Shima, a FdG and a Hindenburg against 3 of us (including you) and I killed the FdG pretty early so it was only a Hindenburg left and you let him farm you to death giving him Arsonist like 5 or 6 mins into the game. But yea we all know that ppl like you have problems with 'facts' so go ahead keep complaining about your teammates instead of focussing on the real problem, which is you.

    I carried your potato a.s.s. in the Warriors Path game you won. Sorry to tell you that but the reason you lose so many games is because you are really bad (from watching you play and now checking your stats). You managed to not really improve at all after 13k battles played which is worrying since most ppl improve just by repeating smth over and over again...

    When is the CV nerfing going to end ??

    @Catslave pls stop talking about CVs and flooding dmg etc, you have zero clue about that topic so stop arguing, thanks! Flooding dmg was massivly nerfed with this patch and there are no second opinions about that. Before the Midway TB nerf I had around 60-80k flooding dmg in a normal game and 150k+ in good ones and these days after TB nerf + flooding nerf it's like 30k at best. That rework was the biggest nerf for CVs up to this point and if you don't understand that, sorry that I have to tell you that but then you are basically just bad.

    Flooding Rework

    Not a fan at all of that new flooding system. First of all it's a huge nerf to CVs and on top to DDs as well... It does like zero dmg to cruisers and we are at a point where you are more feared of fires in a BB than of floodings. Flooding dmg is so pityful you might es well remove the entire mechanic! Next absolutely stupid change from WG where everyone with some simple understanding of math saw it coming, just unbelievable and on top no one ever asked for this!
  11. Das ist nicht dein Ernst, oder? Auch nach dem Rework wirst du DCP weiter für Flutungen nutzen, nicht wegen dem Schaden, weil der ist leider ziemlich lächerlich runtergenerft worden, sondern aufgrund des Manövriermalus. Es wird sich null Komma null ändern wie gute Spieler DCP nutzen und die ganzen Potatoes reparieren eh ein einzelnen Feuer sofort, da ändert sich auch nix außer das ihr das Spiel weiter runterschraubt und alle Mechaniken die wirklich gravierenden Schaden verursachen können entfernt! Sorry, aber keine Ahnung ob die Leute in Russland das Spiel überhaupt selber spielen (angeblich ja, aber das muss man am Ende doch leider bezweifeln), weil so einen Schwachsinn kann man sich leider nicht mehr anhören! Klingt wie derselbe Müll den man sich in dem Dev-Video zum CV-Rework hat anhören müssen à la CVs nutzen DCP sowieso immer beim ersten Brand, Motorausfall etc somit ist es zu automatisieren nur folgerichtig und kein Nachteil
  12. Ihr müsst die Chancen erhöhen da Flutungsschaden ja ab morgen fast nicht existent sein wird! Keine Ahunung warum die nicht zeitglich ab morgen durch die Bank weg auf allen Schiffen angehoben wird... Gerade aus dem Grund hat die Midway Änderung der TB (inkl Reduzierung der Flutungschancen) letze Woche, sprich eben genau eine Woche vor dem wirklichen Nerf überhaupt keinen Sinn ergeben... Man frag sich wirklich manchmal ob einige in eurem "Balancing Team" weiter als von 12 bis Mittags denken!

    Exactly this! Hakus TBs are basically useless for randoms... Both options are unplayable and really really really bad! What WG also seem to forgot when they nerfed Haku is that half of her damage output was flooding dmg, so with the the flooding rework coming in 8.1 (because they now did the same with Midway now, absolutely stupid nerf right before the real nerf happens) even the "old broken" Haku wouldn't be as powerful as she was. But since WG is only about nerfing CVs I doubt we will see Haku being effective any time soon again and yea so much for my hopes of increasing all flooding chances (hello Midway^^) across the board when looking at the stupid flooding rework to compensate for the massive loss in flooding damage.

    0.8.0.3 hotfix feedback

    Okay since you are the best source of information pls tell me why exactly did you feel the need to nerf Midway right now? Midway was always about the dot damage and the aplha dmg of the torps were a non-factor and with 0.8.1 being released next week you are already nerfing flooding dmg into the ground, which will heavily impact Midway's damage potential. Why not wait how the flooding rework impacts CVs damage and change stuff afterwards incase it's needed? So i ask again: Why the hell do you change Midway's TB alpha dmg AND flooding chance right before the real nerf happens? It's the timing what I'm really curious about. I tbh expected more of a flooding chance buff across the board to compensate for the lack of flooding dmg because ppl will still hold DCP for floodings as usual incase they are in danger of eating torps and even if they then recieve the rare "perma" flooding it will deal almost no damage compared to before...

    As espected you didn't answer me as usual because valid feedback is not what WG wants... You realize that most the feedback you are talking about that you took from the community is from ppl that won't stop crying until all planes gets shot down before they can even drop once? So once again back to the Midway: I'm sorry to tell you but you guys at WG seem to have zero clue about your own game. I was watching you guys last week(?) with the balancing guy and it was really really ridiculous and most ppl who know this game because they are actually good at it felt really bad for the future of it tbh! But yea... soooo bringing Midway in line with the Haku? You realize that Hakuryu is dead for randoms, right? You outright killed her and made her on top totally unfun to play, so if you goal is to make Midway also absolutely useless you are on the right track!
