    Mostly it's BBs, sitting back and being useless the whole time and then when the battle is already lost and it's 1 or 2 -vs- 6 or 7 enemy ships, they start to push in. What then happens is just the usual WG fkup. The last man standing get shot from a whole bunch of enemy ships, which will be a lot of XP due to potential damage and damage tanked. In that procress and from the battle duration, most of the enemy ships are low to very low HP, so they are easy kills for the LMS he he'll get 2-3 kills with 20k damage dealt. This useless fruit will then have XP for living longest (because he is a coward), most damage tanked, most potential damage because there is nothing else left than him at which the enemy fleet can shoot and he picks up a multikill for free as well. Of course this fruit will think he did everything right and the team just sucked. After all he lived longest, made decent XP and killed 3 enemies, so the stupid noob team just to have git gud. In his eyes there is no way it was his uselessness that put the team in the lost position in first place. I had a game like this a few days ago. I went to a cap, killed an enemy DD and finished the cap. I thought we had an advantage until I looked at the lineup. The time I needed to kill a DD and cap was enough for my team to lose 4 ships. I have no idea how that is even possible.

    This is because this halloween event actually require some teamwork and usage of brain from all players involved. DDs are pretty much useless in this mode. The best ship is CV, it is VERY important to have a competent CV on the team, as he MUST heal the team and incapacitate the enemy ships at the right times. It requires BBs that actually deal decent damage, because all healing in this game mode is dependent on how much damage every player individually deals. Cruiser have insane DPM with their heal consumable too. All consumables from all players have to be used wisely. This game mode is actually challenging and very hard to get 5 stars with randoms only. A BB player with brain also does not harm, because he can complete 2 main tasks by himself with the help of the invulnerable consumable. Part 1 of this event was just sailing braindead through the map and pew pew some red stuff, while part 2 requires coordination and some competent team mates. This might help too
  3. I had OMNI players on my team and on the opposing team a couple of times. I also watch streams from different OM and OMNI players. One thing I have noticed while watching streams and also playing with them on my team, once the team with the OMNI players recognize them they take a win for granted and play the most retarded crap ever. They think OMNI will carry anyway, so they can yolo for no reason or just sit back and do nothing. I've beaten teams with an OMNI division too exactly for this reason. There is only so much a good division can carry, they can for sure not compensate 9 chimps on the team. ;) But there are other well known clans who have the same problem and unfortunately sometimes they are real a...holes. Just today I played with two clanmates in a division and we played with double Shima and me in Z-52. It was a standard battle and we had a division from a well known german clan on our team. After a while they started to flame us how useless we were and we just suck and blabla. Well, we lost the battle but our division had the 3 top scorer spots (by a huge margin) with a total of 7 kills. The wannabe pro divison who flamed us had 2 kills combined and were in the middle of the XP pack - apparently camping in the base with 2 BB and a Cruiser does not do too much for the XP and kill count. When we returned to port we had 3 reports each, enough said.

    Is this a joke? I've played nearly 6000 battles on EU and the most karma I had at once was something like 12. Usually my Karma hovers between 0 (probably more like -20) and 5. Right now I have 6 Karma but it's weekend, so Karma 0 and chat ban incoming.

    Those are no nerfs. With the omnipresent BBs that spam only HE, no DD has any AA left anyway. One BB salvo and the DD is stripped from his litte AA he had to stop a CV to crossdrop oneshot him. The second point is not against the CV either, because it is supposed to help the DD and Cruiser to survive more than 2 RN BB salvos.

    Support them at what? How to reverse throughout the whole battle to the blue line? How to stay at least 8km behind the rest of your team at all times with full HP? How to have a 20% main battery hit ratio, because sniping is 'cool'? How not to know when to push in and help the team or playing objectives in late game? How to return to defend the base cap instead to run after a Cruiser that is at least 8 knots faster? Sailing full broadside the half of the enemy team because the player has the urge to also use his rear guns? Yeah, I guess all these problems go away if I only would play BB, not that we already have way way too many BBs in this game. It's a deadly weapon in the hands of a good player, but mostly this class is played so much because it's a class for fruits. Unlike Cruisers or DD, a BB is most of the time not punished as hard for playing like a fruit. And if it is, WG come to the rescue and serve the fruits what they demand, e.g. lowered citadels, BBs without the need to switch ammo depending on situation, why angle just auto-bounce shells. Fire damage too stronk? No problem, just lower DE so enemy ships set less often fire and at the same time introduce a new commander skill to reduce the spots on the ship where enemies can set fire. The list goes on and on. Being at the front line, killing enemy DDs to eleminate the biggest threat to my team, playing objectives, scouting for torps and spotting enemy ships so my team has something to shoot at - this is now consideed a problem? Yes, I do not play BBs at all, but trust me, I know enough about BB, their strengths and weaknesses, how they handle, what they can do and what now. I might not play BB but I'm sure I know more about this class than at least 80% of the BB players out there.

  10. The damn operation pumpkins potatoed me 1.5 mil credits (i have almost 80 mil and don't need credits) wakatake camo (i don't play IJN, i don't play anything below tier 6) 1.5 mil credits (see 1.) 75 heal flags (i don't play BB and on cruiser it is not really necessary) 75 heal flags (see 4.)

    This must be it, maybe I need some more experience in DDs to play them better. Seriously, I posted this thread because people always try to excuse shitty teams with the blame on the individual and their lack of game knowledge or they would not understand their class and they did not fulfil their role. But fact it, it is all too often the crap team that make any effort to win a game null and void, by playing really the stupidest crap. It's not an exception, it's the common gameplay in random battles and as sad as it is, the higher the tier the worse the average player is at this game. At low tiers you can excuse this by saying someone is new to the game and he did not learn the basics. But this should not be the case at tier 8 and above. I often can tell that we are going to lose right at the start of the game - again, experience of 6000 battles (i play also on NA and have played more than a thousand games there) taught me this. Whenever I see a 3-player BB or 3-player DD division on my team I just know it is to 95% a loss and sadly I'm all too often correct with my prediction. An almost guaranteed loss is it when 3 tirpitz or 3 bismarck show up in a division. I also can often see in the first 60 seconds if we are going down by watching how ships start to move, where they move and what speed they start into the game. You see all kind of fruits (my new term for potato to sound nicer ^^) there, right at the start reversing BBs. Cruiser that do a 180, DDs not heading straight to a cap but steer directly to a flank avoiding a cap zone. CVs that send planes to the edge of the map or have them circle around their ship for 3 minutes. All these are indicators that a player is a fruit, probably a rotten one too. Same as high tiers without camo and flags or BBs with SE perk. That's all things only imbaciles do, because they did not understand how the game works and what it means to play as a and for a team. And later in the game you see the fruits throwing games away that would be an easy win, mostly because they have with me a somewhat competent DD player on their team. Yes, this sounds damn arrogant and elitist, but it is not, it's the truth. I'm experienced enough to very often give my team a huge advantage and all they have to do is not to die. But then they see we have 2 caps, enemy DDs were kiled, so we have a won game right there and this is where the fruit brain stops working and they play cocky, push alone flanks and get deleted or chase ships that run away at the map edge (a signal that they do not want to participate in this battle at all) around the map, tunnelvision and do not understand that you are at a huge disadvantage when you tail chase a ship. Not only is it much easier to hit a target that is chasing you, but the 'hunter' does not realize that it is him who is the hunted very soon, when the enemy team start to shoot his broadside and he has no option to disengage anymore. There are dozens and hundreds of things that go wrong with randoms and if you can be assured of one thing, then it is that a fruit basket (team full of potatoes in nice ^^) will find a way to throw the game away no matter how big the lead and advantage is. I am fully away of the fact that my steam off will change exactly nothing, but sometimes this is needed to not develop a hate toward fruits and/or simply uninstall the game. The sad part is, that this will not even out. Yes, as a somewhat competent player you win more than you lose, but this does not mean that most of the wins are fun, because they are usually the same shitty games just with the better end. Why would I be happy about a won game that lasted 7 minutes, because the enemy team ran away from the start, we get all caps, kill 2-3 enemies and boom, we reached 1000 points. Games like this suck, because they are very low XP and credits games. It's a waste of commander Xp camos and the new flags or a wasted daily win bonus. In close games that we lose I get more XP than in these 7 minute roflstomp games that I win. And this can not be, this should never happen and is a clear sign that something goes very wrong in this game. /end wall of text

    It's not the losses, this would be fine. It's the way how braindead team mates throw easy won games away over and over again in the most retarded ways. Never played WoT nor any other WG game other than WoWs Looking at my screenshot post in the 'carry harder' thread, anything up to 1700 base XP on a loss. Average was probably around 1300 base XP. The total daily average XP was 2149 but this include other games (16 in total) as well.

    Nice one, but my stats are solo play, while yours are division-only with a CV. Oh I wonder how this could possibly influence your plane kills. Nice try though. ;)

    Not sure if you are trolling or if you are serious. Anyone who played with me knows that I'm a DD main and that I fight tooth and nails over objectives, always. My primary target and by far most kills are enemy DDs, I rarely go off to hunt BBs. In fact, I rather sail 3 minutes to an empty cap, take the cap and sail 3 minutes back to action, abandon any personal damage in order to secure a cap for the team. Not long ago we played against each other, you should have noticed that I returned in a squishy cruiser to stop a Conquerer and a Yamato from capping our base (playing the objective), well knowing that one salvo can easily finish me off. I could have run away and hope that BBs turn around to defend our base. Nope, if there is one thing I am not then it is a damage whore and I flame everyone who prioritize personal damage over playing objectives. And since kill securing is a new trend sports in WoWs, it is not uncommon to have a lot of damage but a low kill count. If you are in doubt about my gameplay let me know, then I'll zip all of my todays games for you and you can watch them. I've got nothing to hide.

    And the next baboon team threw away a great game This was a 1700 base xp game on a loss. Only the top scorer on the enemy team had higher base xp. This game get more frustrating with every day.

    Halloween Part 2 After completing the operation the result screen was just green and then it threw me back to the post, without a post battle screen. I got a couple of containers from the operation and when I clicked open, I'm stuck at this screen. Only way out is to kill the task in task-manager.

    stop repair a single fire when you are playing BB!!!!

    It's funny, because I've seen popular streamer telling the same 'do not put out one fire, next salvo you get a perma fire and you are screwed'. And guess what? The first fire burned the full duration, you know, like a perma fire. And even worse, sometimes it happens that you let burn a fire for 45+ seconds and it's almost done when you get a second fire. Now what do you do? Let the second fire also burn the full duration, so you had 2 full perma fires, because you were afraid to put out the first fire in case you get a perma? It's situational. If you let a fire burn your detection range increases and you get shot at all the time. If you can put out the fire and be undetected, so you can reposition, then do it. Especially as US BB where your repair last forever and you can not be set on fire again for a while. Use your brain for if or if not put out a fire. Most retarded thing is to let a fire burn the whole time if you are about to get behind cover where nobody can shoot at you.

  20. Yeah this was not nice of you. From my spawn I though about if I should go around this island behind it or in front of it to get to the middle of the map. I thought what the heck, I have speed boost, I go in front of the island. Of course I got spotted by your Fletcher mate and first thing I remember is to get shot in the face with HE by a certain player, I do not name names. ;) I ended this game with 140k damage, no kills, and the gained knowledge that Saint-Louis is much better when fully upgraded. (hint: you should free xp the upgrade or you will have no fun in this ship as i learned the hard way. very sluggish, bad rudder times, low hp, very low range for a t9. Hull and gun range upgrade feel like a totally different ship) Most of my damage came from harassing your division make in the Izumo and dealing with the Conq and Yamato that pushed the flank to our base. Luckily they were cowards and pushed 1/4 speed or whatever. If they had steamed on direct way into our base, I'm almost certain we had lost, because there was only a Chapayev and me defending this push. We bought enough time by raining HE at these 2 BB for our FDG to return and helping us. It was not an excellent game but at least this wasn't a roflstomp that ended after 6 minutes with a total crush for one team. For a long time it looked pretty balanced before it fell apart.
  21. This is a operation where you get stars for completing tasks and per star you get a container. Since no operation rewards are obtainable multiple times I highly doubt they change it just for this operation. Very unlikely but it wouldn't surprise me if they throw these containers as cash grab into the shop.

    Most Useful Destroyer And Cruiser Lines For Clan Battles

    There is a rumor that NADO on NA is on position one and hasn't lost a CB yet and their setup is 1 Conq plus 6 Moskva. UPDATE I just checked their stats on NA and they are not undefeated. They are top1 on NA right now with a 72% WR and a 19 games win streak, their setup used to be 1 Conq plus 6 Moskva though.
