Because of the amazing WG logic when it comes to nerfing ships. Not long ago WG said that only about 5% of the playerbase play clan battles. Because these 5% used the YY a lot in CBs, for the reason that this DD has the radar consumable, it was considered too strong. And because the radar was too strong for this game mode, WG nerfed everything else of the ship but the radar. WG punished 100% of the players, because 5% of the players used the ship for this one utility it provides. Before the ship was released everyone said it is a moronic idea to put radar on a DD, but they ignored it. As a result they made this ship almost unplayable because pretty much every other tier 10 DD does a better job at anything the YY can bring to the table. Next patch we will also get altered or new ship upgrades and one of it will make torpedoes spottable at a fix distance of 1.8km. Considering how afraid BB players are when it comes to torps i expect that a lot of them will drop concealment and use this upgrade instead, just because they crap their pants when they see there is a DD in the game. So the amazing stealth of deepwater torps, which the pan-asia DDs have, will become useless as well. -
… and has a huge citadel and no superheal and the weakest BB armor all around and is the most squishy BB at tier 10 and can be overmatched by some ships and … Cherry picking seem to be the new and upcoming hobby, where do i sign up?

It's not the game mode, it's the map itself. It is, and always was, one of the worst maps in the game and this simply for the fact that it is so huge. Even in a really fast ship, remove all ships from the map, you need 6 minutes to get from one cap to the cap on the other side in a straight line. Games are usually divided into 2 seperate battles, one at A cap and one at C cap, no chance of crossfire, flanking, tactical play and before both teams meet at B the game is usually over. Then there is often the weather front stuff that screws up this map even more. It's my least favorite map in the entire game. They should just remove it together with Ocean, The Atlantic and Okinawa. All these maps always produce extremely boring and frustrating battles even, or especially, in a victory.. -
The fact that such an important addition to the game is not implemented into the vanilla game yet is what should you drive crazy.

Do you use any mods or very low sea rendering settings? The trails, in front and behind the ship, are a common issue with the calm sea mod in Aslains modpack. You can get rid of those trails by setting Additional Reflections to Off in your graphics settings. The game will look significant worse without additional reflections though, at least in my opinion.

Only bad players don't like it, seriously. Same as ship names on the minimap. It adds so much information that is so important for the game, to be a decent or good player. Turning information like this off is like playing the game with closed eyes. -

Nobody of us knows the answer and even if WG tells you whether or not the ships will be available forever you can not trust their word one bit. 'There will never be submarines in WoWs', 'There will never be guns in the game bigger than 460mm', 'Unique upgrade missions will not expire ever', and so on and on -
Don't worry about karma or chat bans. I play this game for more than 3 years with over 10k battles under my belt. I'm certain my karma was never higher than 12 or 15, usually it hovers around 0-3. And other than when i took a break from the game i think there was never a phase that was longer than 2 weeks where i wasn't chat banned. Chat bans are automated and are usually 24h but i had quite a few handed to me manually by the support. These bans are usually between 3 and 7 days. I like the manual support chat bans much better because it only affects the battle chat, while clan chat and personal messages still work. I only wish gameplay related reports would work the same way as chat reports, that shitty players really get banned from randoms for a period of time when they received enough plays poorly reports - then karma would have a meaning. But apparently you can grief, sabotage the game and lose on purpose for your team, this is okay with WG, but you are not allowed to tell a stupid person that they are stupid.

I don't use this mod, but here is a possible workaround that should work. Join a co-op game, yolo in and die. Once in Davy Jones' locker you won't have the H button anymore, because you can access ship stats only while alive and your settings button should be accessible. I'm just guessing but it should work. Other than that a lot of mods are currently unavailable or cause some trouble, if you scan through the forum posts and reddit. WG seem to have changed stuff under the hood that cause some serious trouble for our modder friends.

The Puerto Rico event was like a lapdance. You invest a lot and it's nice and exiting while it lasted, but in the end you threw away a lot of money for nothing, for a tease. At this point WG does not care anymore about your complaints, because their plan came together nicely. You got baited, invested a lot of money just to find out that it all was wasted. And even if you invested even more to finish the ship build, your reward was a pile of junk, a lousy performing ship of which you could have gotten a much superior version for free. -

You don't have to worry about this anymore. They just made the Henri the worst and most unfun to play tier 10 cruiser. Not just a bit unfun, more like Yueyang level of bad and unfun to play. And the same unfun-BS is planned for all DDs by a global massive nerf to all torpedoes. -

Hey! Yeah, in the last 7 days 26 peeps played at least one game and about 15 guys login every day to play some games. Other than actual clan activities the clan is pretty active again. p.s.: new post-battle upgrade, clan bonuses updated in first post. -
https://streamable.com/yph9b - pay attention of when the Smolensk fires the guns and where the shell tracers appear the first time. This is easily 5 to 6 ship length in between. This makes is extremely difficult, or rather pure RNG, to hit a Smolensk in smoke. Yes, this might be in the game for a while and other ships have this too to some extend, but this does not mean that it's okay as it is, especially on a ship like Smolensk that is already stupidly broken overpowered.

PR comes with several built-in features. To name just a few: the community hates you because you supported in one way or another the grind insanity WG threw at us the community renames your account to Whale even if you got the ship for free other players may or may not make fun of you or mock you in public chat whenever you take out the ship just for owning it both teams may or may not report you ingame for playing bad or if you said Hello in chat they report you for chat misbehavior PR is exceptionally bad for all the hype it got and for being a tier 10 premium. A lot of competent people (usually [Super]unicum CCs and STs) gave it the label 'Worst Tier 10 Premium in the Game' PR has to offer more, but those are some of the key features that make PR special, which doesn't necessarily mean good. But don't worry. If you like the ship, play it and don't care what anyone of the faceless random plebs think of you!

Then you should not give ship advice if you don't have them nor never played them. Conq used to be good, because it was indestructible. You explain it yourself without having it in the following sentences. Exactly this is how a ship should be. You play well you are rewarded, you suck at the game you should be punished. This is why so many potatoes loved the Conq. It was potato-proof. You could literally screw up 5 times, give a crap about positioning and angling and when it was too close to dying, press a button and print a new ship. Now with the changes, Conq actually has a citadel to be punished which wasn't the case before (well it had but under water so it was impossible to hit it), plus the nerfs to the neverending-print-new-ship-heal the ship suddenly had to be played well to have good results. Naturally the vast majority of people failed and marked the ship now as bad. Let's put it this way. If you know how to play the game, know the mechanics and you are not a braindead HE spammer, then Thunderer beats the Conquerer by a mile and a half. But if you want to sit at 20km+ and just spam HE-only all day and want to lie to yourself that you are a good player because you farmed 150k meaningless average HE damage, then Conquerer is the ship for you.
