Thanks for the reply, but this makes no sense and it renders this mod useless. Imagine you search a forum for a word and only get a result if you explicitly give 2-3 more related words that must match exactly in order to get a search result. Makes no sense because this defeats the idea of a search/filter and i can manually browse through the posts (or this case the camos) manually, right!?

Hey :) Sorry to say this but the changes to the camo filter suck big time, pretty much make it useless to use. The idea of a filter should be to select, e.g. Commander XP, and all camos with commander XP should be listed but this is not the case anymore. Now multiple selections must be made because the filter is now a direct match. Means i have to select commander XP plus XP plus free XP to see camos with 3 stats. Same as credits. Of course there are camos with commander XP and XP but not free XP, those camos will not be shown now. To find camos with credit bonus i have to click on all selections to see credit camos. This just defeats the purpose of a filter and is no help at all anymore. Maybe this works if you have 12 different camos (in which case you don't even need a filter), but in my case i have about 70 or more different camos of all kind. I really hope the mod creator changes this back, because it used to be an excellent mod, now is yet another useless data collection. @_BigRed__simply open your res_mod folder and rename the 0.9.1.0 to 0.9.1.1

Potatoes are one of the healthiest vegetables on the planet. Potatoes keep billions of people from starving, so this is a very positive thing. People should stop being snowflakes and rather understand that they are trash at the game and start to improve instead of ruining other people games because they fail to understand basic game mechanics that any 6 year old would understand with ease. It's this sugarcoating and being overly protective toward the potatoes that actually prevent them from understanding that they are not the victims but rather the ones that makes others the victim. They waste other peoples time and effort and therefore ultimately killing the game fun. For whatever twisted reason is this bullcrap totally accepted, but god forbid someone complains about the trash players or even calls them a healthy vegetable, then the whiteknights come storming in with ban hammers. p.s.: i'm chat banned at least once a week and currently i'm waiting for a 14-day chat ban to expire, which will be next thursday. 👍

The point here is that you play a lot of low tiers, like really low tiers, and now you have the experience of 1000+ games under your belt fighting brand new players who haven't even unlocked ship upgrades, commanders and stuff like this. What you do right now is what we refer to as sealclubbing. You pretty much are an adult slapping around toddlers and thinking you are the crap. Your overall stats are really bad. As soon as you get out of your comfort zone, which in your case is evidently tier 4 and below, your stats drop massively. If you wanna reroll go ahead and do it, it's your decision. But do not expect to have great stats once you are back again to tier 6+ because your problem lies somewhere else and not so much in the burden of old stats.

Oh my goodness, this is the understatement of the year. I just installed the port pack (30 port or something like this!) and checked out a few of them and it's insane. Best ports ever! I can not say much about bugs or something but so far everything seem to work just fine. Aslain, you rock and so do the other modders as well. UPDATE Okay i spoke too soon. The ports are great but they don't stick upon closing the client. After a new login a standard port is selected and when i change ports it always switches to the previous selected and shows a wrong name in port. We'll see how this affect daily use. UPDATE 2 Well, there is a serious issue with the custom mods. After logging out the port jumps back to a standard port but it shows the name of the custom port in the port UI (and in the preferences.xml file). I can't change to the custom port then because the game thinks i have it already selected, so i change to another port and the game shows the newly selected and the old custom port as selected at the same time. Only after changing the port a second time allows me eventually to load the custom port which i had selected before logging out. It seems something is really messed up with custom mods or with my game client, but i highly doubt the latter.

Threads like this always boggle my mind. 8000 battles played and not figured out how and when WoWs patches the game. Not only this, but also not being able to read. There is a huge headline on the main website that informs everyone about the downtime in advance. If you launch the game, the GC has a huge red box with the headline ATTENTION! -even in capital letters- with the information about the downtime and yet people still open threads like this. But maybe people still have not figured out that UTC is the unified world time to, you know, unify the time so people don't confuse this with their local time zone.

This is wrong. There are two types of chat bans, manually by the WG support (long-time bans anything between 3 days and permanent that only apply to battle chat while private chat and clan chat still works) and automated by the implemented system (24h chat ban globally, battle chat and private/clan chat as well, which is a beyond retarded solution). Which is perfectly fine. Do some research and you will find that the word Moron, Idiot and Imbacile were actually used as proper medical terms in psychology. This is how people with low IQ were called to categorize them. So how can this be an insult if it's the proper term for dumb people?!

Recently i got a message out of the blue. I've never heard of this person before, never read their name, no idea who this was. He (i assume it was a guy) didn't say hello or hi but just tossed the question to me what he is doing wrong, because he got only non-penetration hits. Well, a nice guy would've probably told him to aim for the superstructure or whatever, but because i'm a jerk i couldn't resist and gave him a more in-depth explanation for his problem. According to his WoWs profile he has played nearly 1200 battles so he wasn't really new and i wasn't sure if he is asking seriously. My advice to him was, that he get non-penetration hits because he is not pressing the mouse button hard enough when firing the guns. If he want to have penetration hits he has to press the button harder, but not too hard because then he would get only over-penetration hits, which is especially true if he is playing BB. And if he want to land citadels he has to press and hold down the mouse button just right until all guns have fired in sequence. So my sincere apology to you if you run into a ripple-firing noob who is complaining about only getting overpens.

But people do not hate playing against good 'ol DM nearly as much.

The pretty much only buffs they do is to ships that were powercreept and are obsolete ever since. Or they nerfed ships in the past but with the usual sledgehammer method to the point where the ship became unplayable and now try to fix the screw up they did back then.

My first 300k game ever, and of course it was a loss - how sad. And before you think 'yeah yeah thunderer, another fire spammer' … nope.
