Never liked him. He's a drama queen like many NA CCs (including ex-CCs such as Business6) and has some twisted opinions about many things in WoWs who seem to only want to provoke to get views. At least in the couple of older videos i've seen from him. I think i've even blocked his channel for YT recommendations. -

How to dodge rocket planes?

Do what they did in the old times in a war or battle. You give the peasants some lousy armor and weapons but good enough to not die instantly and to deal some damage. Send wave after wave at the enemy as sacrifice. The enemy will be busy and exhausted because they get no rest and run out of ammunition and food at some point. Weakened, wounded, tired, best weapons wasted - NOW is the time to go in and sweep through the remainings to win the battle, or if not you can at least say you dealt so much damage. If you apply this to WoWs this is how most BB players play the game when they are full HP at the end, then rush in to kill 3-4 wounded low HP remainders and tell the team how they suck for not having scored 4 kills like the BB did. Then go home to your wife and brag how you had to carry the noob team - again! As DD you can do the same against CV. Just stay far back and be useless and hope the team sacrifice is enough to de-plane the enemy CV. Now you go in and die anyway like a vegetable, but you still can blame the team because there was not enough support in form of more sacrifices. Other than that just wait for Subs to arrive in randoms, then you can simply submerge and laugh at your teammates. -
Don't worry guys we are not alone. NA has the same issues as you can see on this glorious snippet from a game i've played last night. The 3 bottom XP, other than the 2 afk, were DDs. They all died in the same cap within the first 4 minutes of the game. So after 4 minutes into the game we were down 5 ships.

I haven't counted how many container i've opened. On EU maybe 10 or so and got once 15, once 25 (or 20?), rest 5. Opened 9 on NA and got once 10, rest 5. Exciting, fun and engaging event. 🤪 But i've noticed that i still have the collection on NA with the Santa's Gift. Maybe i should invest the 15-20k coal to complete this collection. With my luck i get 5k coal in return from the Santa's Gift. 😂 -
Games are horrible and getting worse and worse. I had a game today with 2 afk BB (out of 4 total BB) and in the same game a DD yolo'd into a cap and died before the 3 minute mark and because of this someone else rage-torped a friendly and suicided, because of damage reflection. So after 3 minutes the game was over - but WG is okay with this. But god forbid you call anyone of these people a [certain vegetable], instant reports and most likely chat ban. Hard to believe, but this game used to be good and a source for joy and fun - years ago.

He emphasize is because it is a very important fact. Stuff like this can make a difference between 2 or 3 salvos that ship can fire at you. This is a stealth radar we talk about here, means in certain circumstances you have no chance to avoid being radared and when this happens, it makes a huge difference if the radar ship has time to shoot 2 or 3 salvos at you, especially when this radar ship has lazer beam like accuracy and hits like a truck. Extending the radar just by a few seconds decide over you are a XP pinata or if you get away to torp his friends. You also cherry pick by only refering to this one video. Of course this is probably the only thing you watched. If you would watch the stream as well you would probably see 15 or 20 or more games over the course of a week where you can just witness this 'cherry picking'. You'd realize that it not just happen against low tier cruisers, but happens in the same way against tier 10's and some BBs. And looking at your account stats i see where your theory comes from. 53% of played games are BB, 16% Cruiser, 17% CV and only 14% DD games where the vast majority of these DD games are tier 7 and below.

Modified game mode idea to make DD lifes a bit easier

DDs have without a doubt the most dangerous life in Wows and more and more burden is loaded on their shoulders. Soon™ there will be Subs and stealth radar (re-introduced) which will make especially capping much harder. That's why i thought about an idea to change Domination Mode a little bit, to give the DDs a little break. Right now DDs, and sometimes other ships, have to sit in a cap for a full minute to flip a cap. This is extremely dangerous because the DD is usually stationary during that time thanks to tiny cap zone on many maps. The long capping time makes it also very easy to reset a cap over and over (sorry, had to brag) that can often lose a game. My idea: reduce the time from 60 to 15 seconds to flip a cap zone, but the cap remains incative for another 45 seconds. More ships in the cap will not reduce the capping or activation time. This way nothing would change with the current point system. What it does however is, that DDs can leave the cap sooner and stay alive longer, spot for their team or do other tasks. If an enemy ship enters a cap during the activation time (the 45s), the cap flips again after 15 seconds. The whole capping process would become much more dynamic. It would make it also easier for big ships to flip a cap and force the enemy to become active and DDs would not be so afraid to go for a cap, knowing they don't have to sit there for 60 seconds and just wait to get torped or radared or hydroed or rocket planed. -

Don't worry guys, all ships will come back at some point. Either as random loot crates, probably christmas event, or for a couple of hundred bucks donations, like Belfast and Missouri not too long ago. -
I dunno what to say. I'm a DD main and play pretty much exclusively t9 and t10 if i don't grind lines. I love to hunt enemy DDs, play behind enemy lines, set up ambushes and all this stuff, so i play a very high risk/reward playstyle and even i have a 48% survival rate, which is already not the best. Some call it manliness, other call it overextending. Either way, dead ships don't deal damage and can not help the team in any other way.

Your issue is not the ship. I'm not going into your stats that speak for themself, but i want to mention just one stat that is a very important one and it explains a lot. According to wows-numbers have you played 3350 give or take random battles of all tiers, including tier 10 ships like Kremlin. Your Battles Survived is at 22.17%. How is this even possible? Do you press W at the start of the game and then the key get stuck?

What bothers me way more are all too often my teammates. I really simply want to leave the battle right at the start when i load into a tier 10 game and the first 1 or 2 or 3 things i see are DDs or Cruiser without camo and flags, BBs with SE skilled, ships that turn around the second the game starts and sail across the map to the opposite cap and abandon the flank they spawned on just to avoid enemy contact for as long as possible.

Not sure if this is a reason to celebrate or if this is a reminder of how much time was wasted and how much random team pain i have suffered in 4 years as solo player. But there is more, which is kinda funny. Bundled with the anniversary comes a 30% discount coupon for the premium shop. So 30% for 4 years of suffering but when i didn't play for a couple of months on NA they sent me an email with a 70% coupon on premium time - i have never ever seen a coupon with more than 50% until this point. Yeah yeah, the 30% are for more than just premium time, but this is the only thing worth spending money on. So one get a better reward for not playing the game than to be loyal and play for years. WG logic never cease to amaze me. -
See, this is why WG refuse to use number seperators. 50'000 and 5'000 are easy to confuse without a seperator and whales don't have a 20/20 vision, so they very likely fall for this trap.

This is actually a hilarious article if you think about it. So there is a problem with the ingame browser and WG is providing a workaround by disabling the hardware acceleration. Apparently this fixes the problem just by setting a value from Auto to False. In the same article they have the footnote that states "Our Development Team is working on a permanent fix.". Now i'm curious, why does WG have to work on a permanent solution that takes months (note the creation date of this workaround: Created 3 months ago) to implement when all they have to do is to use their own workaround and implement it permanently? It's literally changing the default value of Auto to False and the problems are gone - permanent solution applied.

I'm curious, do you enhance the ingame graphics to make the game look prettier?

Do you use any 3rd party tools or certain GFX driver profiles/settings to make the game look prettier or don't you care about the ingame visuals that much? Got example screenshot? I for instance use the calm sea mod from Aslains and also Nvidia Freestyle Filters to tweak the visuals ingame. To give you an impression how it looks like are here a few screenshots with and without Nvidia Freestyle applied: https://imgur.com/a/GL5K692 On the preview version it's not so obvious. Best download the screenshots and view them with an image viewer at original resolution and switch back and forth between the screenshots to see the difference more clear. And just to make this clear: Nvidia Freestyle is part of the Nvidia Experience Software and GFX Drivers and 100% legal to use. There are even dedicated WG threads to confirm this from when there were concerns that it could be illegal, because WG banned the use of ReShade and other filter tools that hooked into the game process and worked similar to Freestyle.
