Most regular missions revolve around base xp, xp, free xp and x amount of credits. This years even doesn't give any XP (hence no base xp and free xp) and no credits, just the event currency.

Yeah let me know about it. I'll join in if i'm online and in need to complete such a mission. I do this pretty much the same, just let the (Georgia) secondaries work and don't use main guns and i do these mission usually in the very early morning hours, like 4 am or 5 am, because i'm either the only human in the game or maybe there is another one but not a ton of yoloing DDs that go for quick kills. I usually use Georgia with pure secondary spec and it's mostly around 300-500 secondary hits per game, depending on how many DDs are in the game. These little buggers usually yolo and kill enemy BBs too fast. The most secondary ribbons i had in a co-op game so far was about 880. It was in the middle of the night and i was the only human in the game.

Off Topic If you have a friend who is single and you have access to his computer you can prank him in an evil way by changing the DNS server to 1.1.1.3 This DNS is also from Cloudflare and specifically designed for families with children. It blocks known websites with pornographic content. So your friend will probably be a little bit stressed and pissed next time you meet him.

If everything fails for whatever reason then there are usually 2 ways that work: 1. TOR Browser 2. Website Anonymizer (online proxy) In both cases you circumvent DNS problems that are related to your ISP because you surf through another gateway/proxy. Only if the target server is really down you won't be able to reach the site. Changing DNS, i'd suggest the already mentioned 1.1.1.1 (Cloudflare) as well, should be a given for various reasons. I personally don't like the Google one (8.8.8.8) because it's slower than the Cloudflare DNS and it's Google who is known to collect data about any request, which Cloudflare doesn't. Of course a VPN would be the best but that cost money if you want a proper one that you can trust and has a good speed. Another thing you can try it to visit the site, then hold down CTRL and press a couple of times F5 and see if the site load correctly. But in the end it is difficult to help if the user has very limited computer knowledge, because nobody knows if a suggested solution is applied correctly or at all and if all necessary info is provided in order to help. So you best bet is, find a real life friend who knows a lot about computer and let him have a look. After changing the DNS you MUST click OK until all windows are gone and restart the browser or better the computer or it won't have any effect. SO make sure you did this.

I think that WG is not interested in a real balance of old ships. Simply for the fact that most old players have them and WG want old players to grind new lines and ships to not fall behind. More grind means the need to buy premium time and anything that pushes XP. If old ships are as strong as new ones then there is no need to grind the new ones and this means there is no need to invest money into the game.

Another one where i was involved, but it wasn't me who died but my opponent. This was my meanest kill ever and probably one of his most humiliating ones, so i post it on his behalf. Bow-in duel against a Des Moines with my Henri IV. I killed both his front turrets and let my secondaries finish him off. He had the choice between getting killed by my secondaries or turning the ship to use the back turret but then i would citadel him. This was pre legendary upgrade i believe, so ramming was not an option because i reversed faster with speed boost than he could accelerate.

Randoms don't consist of only good players. In fact, the vast majority are not considered good player.

I once killed a Leningrad or better said, he suicided like the most braindead player i have ever seen. What happened was this. I played my Black on map Hotspot and i was fighting 2 enemy DDs in the middle B cap. I had to run because i was out of radar but there was still a Benson in the B cap sitting in a smoke and capping. I launched my glorious 43 knot torps from nearly max range at the smoke. During all this time there was no friendly ship even remotely close to B cap. A friendly Leningrad who was capping C at that time decided now is a good time to speed boost from C into B and rush the Benson smoke. He pushed straight into B and died in the enemy smoke to my torps that were in the water for at least 40-50 seconds at this point. He ignored chat warnings, map pings, the torps alert sound and the torp indicator on his screen. More braindead is not possible and this TK was 100% not my fault.

Keyword here is 'was', but i'm not so sure if the op argument is still valid. I've seen a couple of streamer, which are unicum/superunicum, play Belfast on stream and got smacked around pretty hard. Powercreep and the IFHE nerf seem to have weaken Belfast quite a lot, same as other former so called op ships at tier 7 like Atlanta and Flint. I don't have Belfast, so i don't know, but i have Flint and it sucks for a while now and will suck even more with the upcoming commander skill rework.

There is only one Base XP and this is the number on the scoreboard. Premium time is nothing else but yet another modifier like a camo or signal of a flag. Nothing except Free XP is based on total XP, everything else is purely based on the base XP on the scoreboard. Stats websites however take premium time into account as base XP, that's why these numbers for average XP are deceiving.

Long story short: Free XP is the only XP that is based on your total XP after modifier while all other XP (ship, elite, commander) is based on your Base XP.

It's in general difficult to help when people don't give at least these information: computer specs drivers and windows up to date yes/no ingame graphics settings what have you tried to solve the problem and did anything of it show some improvement is this a recent problem or did you have it before / for a while now. if yes, when did it start … If you, or anyone for that matter, expect others to help with YOUR problem, then you should put in some effort and provide proper information. Everything a helper can do is playing a guessing game by making random suggestions and even then it's not clear if the help seeker has the technical ability to apply the suggested solutions. I'm not saying that anyone here can help with your problem, even with the proper information, but the chances are much higher.

You missed nothing. The code gives you one random container (from either credits/flags/resources) and one try your luck container, that's it. These codes were primarily meant to get old players back to the game and they tried (read try to get us players to do their dirty work on our friends) to lure them with up to 30-day premium time by sharing a code with them.
