The problem here is, that there is a short list with a very small amount of possible ships that come directly from these gift containers. Only in case of a double the gift container is replaced by a Supercontainer (it also appears as a SC, not a gift container) which will drop a ship from the 100+ list. So technically it seems to be impossible that one of the listed 100+ ships drop directly from these gift crates. With no word is mentioned that one MUST have one of the short list ships in port before one can get lucky to get a random ship from a SC. So technically it is impossible that, let's say 500'000 user without any premium ships buy one single gift container, anyone of them get something else than a ship from the short list. And this is false advertisement, plain and simple.

Because he was calling me out in public instead to PM me, so why not do the same the other way around? Especially since his statement is obviously hot air as the evidence speak for itself.

So for the last 2 weeks i played only a few coop games for naval battles and not much else. Today i thought i play a couple of random games and just 2 games in am i already done with the game, again! First game in Alaska, 2 BB on my team afk and one of our two DD suicided in the first 2 and a half minutes. The game ended in 7 minutes, what a surprise. Second game in USS Black. The game starts and within the first few seconds of the game i see this in chat … Sadly this 'player' in chat was our pink CV so instantly i wasn't very confident in his ability. But maybe i'm wrong, let's see how he performs in this game … (watch the CV at B2) Well, must be a fluke. His W key got stuck or something like this. But then again, if you look at the icon on the map you see circles popping up, that's radio commands he was constantly sending. Pretty sure it was only this one game 'he' did this. Let's see how he performs in general … Hmm … Looks like a 'player' anyone is happy to have on the team. The number that is especially interesting is the battles survived. I refrain from sending this to WG because they give a flying dogfart about it anyway. On to the next 2 week of WoWs hiatus.

That's why i said … I don't know why WG thought a 75 FPS cap is a good idea, because it just makes no sense at all and seem to be a random picked number. It also makes no sense that all GFX and resolution settings are located in the preferences.xml file but then the FPS is located in the engine_config. But then again, it's WG and they delight us for years with plenty of questionable decisions.

This! WoWs is not a shooter where frames matter. Anything above 60 FPS is just a waste of money, because your graphics card runs at a higher power consumption without you gaining anything at all other than you can brag to yourself about a nice high number in the top left corner. The smartest thing you can do is cap the FPS at your monitor Hz within your driver or with RivaTuner, unless you absolutely need the higher FPS. This way you save money (lower power consumption = lower electricity bill), your hardware last longer (slower electromigration), less noisy and your card has much more resources that can be put into more important things such as improving the image quality, higher AA settings, image sharpening, DSR, and so on. But to each their own i guess…

Just rename your account to oosel_the_chatbanned You are doing it wrong. You have to insult really hard and often then you get a manual chat ban from the support. These chat bans only affect the battle chat, normal port and clan chat works fine. It's the automated chat ban that bans you from all chats, which is beyond stupid IMO.

To win games does not equal good games. These very common 5-6 minute steamroll games are not fun for the losing or winning team. If the outcome of a game is decided by who has the bigger incompetent potatoes on their team then it is no fun regardless of win or loss. If that's the case then we could just as well roll a dice at game start and don't have to waste 15+ minutes waiting for the horror show to end.

It's even worse, because lower tiers have the excuse of having partially new players. Tier 10 MM should consist of experienced and decent players, which is clearly not the case, that's why it is much more disappointing.

Yes i know, some people don't like flamu for whatever reason, but a personal dislike doesn't change the fact that flamu is a competent source of information when it comes to WoWs. Today he published a video in which he explains, by game example, how to play cruiser and how important positioning and preserving HP is. So if you struggle with playing cruisers, dying a lot, dealing no damage then you maybe should check out this video, because it has a lot of good tips for you.

I strongly disagree. He is without any doubt a very good player and he actually does explain a lot of stuff and why he is doing it or why things work or they don't work, in YT videos and his stream. The common unicum, or those who often think they are one when all they have is a high WR because of division carry, more often than not never explain anything to bad or new players. They like to sit on a high horse and mock worse players. Flamu on the other hand goes often into details, explains more or less basic stuff like angling, armor and how it works, what overmatch is, which parts to aim for on certain ships and ammo types and so on, he also delivers numbers and examples. Things i usually don't see from 99% of the so called unicums out there. That a real unicum, a really strong player, does not get much of value out of his videos is obvious, because the real unicums have the same knowledge already. The difference is, flamu does share this knowledge, the common unicum does not and rather trash bad players and badmouth people like flamu often without even knowing his content or, at best, got only a very small glimpse of it. But in the end of the day is everyone entitled to their own opinion. Some like him, some don't. Some think his videos are very helpful for a lot of players, especially bad and new ones, other think his videos are crap.
