Compensation News on the portal with some interesting compensation requirements … … What about those who could not login? What about those who only logged in to manage clan related stuff, such as recruitments and just found not working chat server? What about those who didn't even try to play, or login, because of all the complaints all over the forums, reddit, discord, that the servers are acting up - who would have played games otherwise? Listen WG, if YOU screw up the servers for everyone then you should compensate everyone and not only those who tried for hours to get a game going and failed, which wasted their time, and then also expect THEM to become active and claim a compensation through a button in a news that hide somewhere on the news website. Really bad customer service IMO. And if you read the posts on the internet, as well as the forum, problems with chat server, missing clan tags and bonusses and so on lasted still until yesterday (22nd) which is outside of your compensation requirements. I for example have the problem since the server 'hiccup', that players who send me a message, newly added players to my friend list as well as player that apply to join the clan are represented with 3 dots (...) instead of their actual name. (i cannot post this here because some hobbit will yell at me for naming and shaming and give me yet another forum warning, but i recorded a video clip to demonstrate this 3-dot BS with multiple users, chat window, clan request tab, player profiles) I'm so sick of all this bullcrap. The most basic stuff, such as a working chat, proper friend list, block list, player search, clan management, and so and on and on, that games provide since the early 2000's and even before that is a too hard of a challenge for WG to fix or improve within a 5-year time period. Yeah, actually i wanted to write more but we all know it's just a waste of time and the thread will get locked soon enough, because threads with truth in it are considered bad PR for new players who would otherwise leave before they really started to waste time and money on this big pile of bug dung.

So you come out of nowhere, insult my clan and with it all people who carry the clan tag but didn't consider that your clan is WAY worse in any regard and numbers? I wonder what you think about your own clan, if a clan that outclasses your clan is considered a 'loser clan' by your own words, and what your clan leader think about how you represent your clan in a public forum. You embarrass yourself and your own clan as well. It is even more funny considering that you obviously play this game for 5+ years and have posted very few times on the forum and then you show up with an insult like this when we never even heard of you, none of my member knows who you are or what your problem is that could be connected to our clan. But as before, thanks for -unintentionally- bumping the thread with your worthless contribution to the topic.

It's not skill, it's the braindead way this ship is meant to be played. The ridiculous high rate of fire combined with an absurd amount of shells means that all you have to do is point your mouse in front of a ship, no matter the distance, hold down left mouse button and slowly swipe your mouse slowly left and right. Sooner or later you will hit guaranteed shells because it's impossible to dodge everything when shells rain down on you like on a wide carpet.

PTS is a pure shitshow, everyone knows this. It's way more braindead than the usual weekend playerbase. But i have no doubt in my mind that the new ranked will suck, simply based on experience when if comes to how 'well' WG handles reworks in general.

Simple rule of thumb: Never ever, like literally NEVER, believe anything WoWs related that comes from Zoup or Notser or Mr. Gibbins.

A button with special effects. Clicking on the link in the news in the WGC lead to the news on the website with the button. Clicking on the button and a message appears 'you need to log in blabla', so i login and because the login process is special on the WG website too, it redirects me a bunch of times back to the WG game overview site (not the WoWs site). Now i need to go back to the news and guess what, the button is gone, it says i have already claimed this reward but ingame no premium day added. I'd notice it immediately because i play without any premium time at all, so it's not a wrong read number. But whatever, i don't even bother anymore to contact the support because this has proven to be way too stressful …

Nice example for reading my post COMPLETELY wrong, interpreting crap into it and make it sound like i would have only 'elitist' intentions. What my post means is, that he is playing for 5 years and did not miss the upgrades but now suddenly does, when it is too late to get them as a casual player. THIS is exactly what WG wanted, that casuals aren't able to farm them easily. Now you HAVE to be a hardcore 24/7 addict and reset lines times and times again to buy them in the armory OR you throw a lot of money at them to convert XP to Free XP and buy them by researching reset lines with Free XP. This was the whole intention of this LU change. OF COURSE, a player who plays for 5 years without a LU will not be able to get such a LU with his casual play - if he did not get it before, then now it became impossible. CASUAL does NOT mean bad or whatever your imagination let you read into what i said above. It just mean, that not-hardcore players got shafted by WG, AGAIN. But i see that YOU and the others who downvoted my post above did not understand what my post was about.

Ever heard about "if it sounds too good to be true it probably isn't" or "nothing is free not even death, you pay with your life"? And this is especially true when it comes to companies with shady practices.

If it only would be so easy? What about the twitch drops someone got from the tournament last weekend? All drops (including one or more potential ship) will be gone for good, because you can not re-watch the stream to get the drops again. What about the Christmas calendar? You can pick up the stuff only 7 days after, but a rollback brings you potentially over these 7 days, so you can not get that stuff back either. What if you joined a clan or left one? Had amazing Supercontainer from daily missions? Grinded ship lines? And so on, all gone. And why? Because THEY fucked up the whole thing AGAIN.

People do read forums, reddit, discord, etc. People also spam this info in their clans and a lot of people also spam this in battle chats. But you are right, a lot of people just blindly play games, don't look left or right, don't read user feedbacks in forums and miss warnings. This applies to all games and business practices out there. Exactly this is the reason why shitty moves like this santa crate scam work. What i talk about are the people that read it here in the forum and even post in the very thread that pretty much proves this scam is real, then they run off to buy a whole bunch of crates just to see if it's really true. This is like going to a bar and witness that one guy after another comes out with bleeding nose and a black eye and they show video evidence to that guy that a huge bully inside the bar beat everyone up who comes in and what happens? No they didn't. People are not smart enough to simply stop throwing money at them. Look at the current situation. We all know by now that the crates are rigged and this is known for a couple of days now. What do people do? They buy stacks of crates, and therefore throw money at WG, just to pull yet another Makarov from a crate and then run to the forum to post a 'look at me, i got one too. LOLOL' thread. So even people KNOW it is a scam, they just throw money at WG just to further proof what we all already know. It doesn't get any stupider than this. You want to punish this shitty ripoff? STOP throwing any money at them and don't do it in future no matter how tempting their promises are. We all should have learned by now that you can not trust ANY word that comes from their mouth. WG is a company, their main goal is to maximize income. Nobody of the playerbase is their friend. They do nothing if favor of the player/customer because no company does. You know which companies do? Those that go bankrupt.
