I've had this happen twice now in my Gnevy. Both times I was 5.5km -6.8km from the nearest hostile, fully stopped, in "set" smoke, and not detected. While firing I become detected from visual (not planes, sonar, or radar). I haven't checked my second replay yet but when I checked the replay on the first one, my detection range jumps on the minimap from 6 km (ish) to 13 (or 15) km. It goes up and instantly drops down, but is enough to well envelop my targets, they spot me, I'm far too slow to get moving before they can fire, and I die. The first time was yesterday (2016-06-06) and today (2016-06-07).
