The damage numbers that appear when you hit your target struggle to render and then stutter up the screen. I’ve tried everything from gfx/sound drivers to fixing FPS etc. Still the same, not sure what ya’ll done at WG but you broke something

Something has definitely changed. Since the last update I have stutters/lags etc. Never had any issue running this game and now it’s bordering on unplayable. It’s pretty bad when I zoom in and out, also when explosions happen. I don’t usually start updating gfx drivers etc when things are fine my end but I did this time, hasn’t helped.

I’m terrible and have np smoke firing at folk. If it’s a mino or Smolensk then I lick my lips, I mean it’s not very hard in a small smoke to hit a big arse ship like that. I tell my mino driving friend this every night, after he inevitably dies in his smoke either from torps or artillery fire for the 3728272525th time.

Thanks mate, I did think that could be a possibility, just wasn't sure if they'd made changes to some DD AA. Hopefully something is done, it's a shame for those that still love to play the game, seems a bit chaotic at the moment.

I am a bit of a noob and was under the impression DD's would stand no chance against the new cv's. Last night in my Hargumo(only bought it last night as was about to quit and wanted to try it) I was shredding planes, iirc in one game I shot down about 40. I did not touch the AA so its whatever the default is, neither did I reinforce the AA Sector, just left them both at 100%. Why is it so powerful? tbh I usually have dd always switched off as for the most part before the update it was poor and i would be lucky to even hit a plane never mind shoot one down, and ofc I don't want to be detected using AA. Was I just lucky in those games or is it my main guns(they are duel purpose yes?) are very powerful when being used as AA? I cant say for sure if its spoilt the game, I noticed less dd's but that's to be expected if a lot were thinking DD's were getting molested. I still find mass radars to be more an issue than the new cv's, maybe that will change when cv players become more experienced or we start facing only the very good cv players. At the moment I am not sure if its better or worse, all seems a bit meh to me considering the time, effort and money spent creating the new content. It all rather seems a bit "is this it????"
