I want to join the lottery.

    Reporting system - hit back

    1. Agreed 2. Yes, but, I never report CV for no air support (in fact anyone for no support). I am not a queen or a gem in the team for special care. I am pessimist and I assume that I will have no support at all. But of course I am trying to give mine. When I got support then I compliment. Let's say that CV was busy; gave you no support but did something great meanwhile. You are killed (sorry) but the game was won. You must not report CV and cannot blame for your death. And my proposal is cutting down reports on valuable players by disappointed players (swearing and complaining on chat as I have observed so far). Sorry, but reality sucks. Tell me why you should have the power to report someone that will top, as it seems later? Only because you are killed? Just to unload the frustration? But with Option2 - go ahead (if you wish - freedom of reporting). 3. Decent player dies early... Yeah it happens. BUT consider the situation that the [edited] dies and tries to direct and insulting others how to play. This guy is just decreasing the morale; everyone is a "moron". You did not mention this situation. Anyway, it is not practical. No man will take any advice from the guy killed in the beginning of the battle. 4. You are right but it is linked now. And all types of report are affecting the karma. 5. Can you develop your statement, please. How to mis-use? Please examine my proposal closely. Thanks to comments I was able to develop option 2, so with no bad intentions I encourage you to do so. Option2 is quite simple now: if you have enough karma and want to report the upper player, please do it - your karma will be reduced but you will teach him :) I haven't seen any real argument why you are not happy with it; you can still report anyone! 6. With Option2 it does not matter (almost). If you are really angry and want to unload the frustration on upper players, just do it (paying with karma points) HOWEVER Higher players would be able to slaughter lower players unpunished and this is why I suggest to cancel post battle reporting. I disagree with the statement "All things considered".

    Reporting system - hit back

This is really funny Juanx. Don't you know that I not am aware that I am not in power to order the change (nice sentence :) ) But exchanging thoughts is the main reason for the forum. Anyway, this is not a democracy and guys compiling the game will rule their own. And maybe one day you will see that a kind of my proposed system is established. What we have now does not make any sense and I understand opinions that it should be abandoned.

Baron, I could not agree more. However, we have this current system that is not perfect and allows for strange situations, like 7 reports on top player.

BB's role... Well, I have a different opinion on this. I way trying your way (in fact, trying many different styles) but it simply did not work. I am mainly using German BBs because of their aux artillery but still it was very hard to achieve something by just getting closer without field prepared. But still, it is not the point. I suspect that you would report me because my style of playing does not match your imagination of the BB's role in the game. Maybe, the BB's captain was acting well? You see, he was on top and you just simply blame one guy that the battle was lost?!?!? This is why the entire situation is so funny to me. I am sure that he was doing his best under that dire conditions. Of course, it is you that were in that battle , however your opinion on BBs role in the game counts there a lot. Remember your game of 7 guys reporting you? Very similar but opposite situation. You were observed as a j*rk (pardon) but you had an impression that you played well. This is why I am stating that being "useless" is relative. On the other hand, my system is absolute and does not count on people's private opinions on how the game should be played, but on the results - this is what can, and what is, measured.

#Eliastion Have you read option 2? Is it more suitable for your needs? PS Sorry for mistyping your nick

As we know, that particular battle was lost. "Useless" is a point of view. BB's captain could name the rest of his team "useless" as well because he had to stay in the range; the field was not clear and it is always easy to get a torpedo hit. And by what we could read, the field was not clear so the BB's action was alright. And so we have a proof, he went on top; but it also shows how poor the team was. I am DD player but I never blame BBs for playing their role and staying in the range. This is my job to clear the field for them. But BBs behavior is strange sometimes, I admit. Just in the last battle, the Yamato Captain suggested to "report all cruisers". The next (also dead) man shouted "use smoke idiots DD". Well, in the previous posts we could learn that "dead man can see more and can have valuable suggestions for the players". Thank you very much for this kind of support.

Are you serious? hahahahaha. This is really funny. You nicely put this conversation out of the track. Top player had no contribution in winning the battle! What a joke :) What did he do then? Oh yes, understand, his presence just gave him top. It is so hilarious! You must be crazy. Well, I am sure that BB man gave more to the team than the last one on the list. Cannot even imagine opposite situation; never happened. BUT the observer will be the (frustrated) judge....

Option 2 to sustain "freedom of reporting". Final score: TOP: Guy A BOTTOM: Guy B During the battle, guys A&B had a typical exchange of notices about morons, useless, etc, and: A reported B (B's karma will go down by 1) B reported A (A's karma will go down by 1 but B had to pay for reporting someone higher on the final list so B's karma goes down by 1 as well) As a result: A's karma -1 B's karma -2 Happy? (if you have karma 0, your reports regarding higher players won't count)

I made a solid statement Nihil. Can you give a straight answer to my question now? Is it okay that the last man on the score reported the top one (who also did not say a single word during the battle but was doing his job)?

    Reporting system - hit back

I am sorry for your lose. But what is the role of BB in the battle? To get close and get torps, fire and syphilis? Do you blame him for being the best in your poor loosing team? He is still on top. He does not deserve to get report. Anyway the last guys on the list, I assume, are innocent... Yes, you are right, my system would not allow to report him (with exception to 2nd and 3rd on the score list). And I know it is proper.

Still not even getting closer to the point. Try to evaluate this concept and do it honestly. I am not talking about (losing or winning) team, my point is rude and offensive behavior of individuals against other players and unloading their frustration: "Everyone is guilty that I am dead now! And you are reported for not supporting me, you should start playing, useless moron". I haven't read any solution yet, except advises like: "don't be pussy; must have a thicker skin; switch the chatroom off", which of course solves nothing. I am not going to admit that I am wrong just because you say so. Convince me with proper argumentation. I gave you a solution, THINK about it first, then type. Just answer this question: is it okay that the last man on the score reported the top one (who also did not say a single word during the battle but was doing his job)? (let me guess. "It is not so black and white; it depends, bla bla bla." I am reading this kind of bullsh*t here. This is not argumentation but state of uncertainty. Do you have balls to give a straight answer?)

Every sentence must be quoted and argued (even if it does not make sense but must be against). This is primarily why I won't talk to you Edi. Secondarily, because I haven't read any convincing arguments yet. Discussion on personal attacks level instead of focusing on solving the problem is not my area of interests.

Edi Congratulations, I give up. Of course, I stay with my proposal but I don't want to argue this way. I am not a lawyer but systems engineer and I really know what I propose in this topic.
