Season 10. Ranked has been a waste of time since then. I haven't gone beyond R15 (you get a unique flag for that) since getting the Jolly Roger achievement in S11 (getting it once was marginally worth it). The flag serves a function that steel doesn't, in allowing players to customise their ships to demonstrate their prowess in Ranked. The ships don't show this because you can obtain steel in many ways, even just from playing the game generally. The items available for Ranked Tokens aren't equivalent either, firstly because they require more effort to obtain and secondly because the circumstances in which they can be used (i.e.: each camo can only be applied to one particular ship) are much more restricted. Either add a unique R1 flag for each season - a simple BW version of the R15 flag would be an appropriate low-effort design - or a sequence of JR flags for successively achieving R1. There are plenty of untapped flag patterns that could be adapted and if you're really struggling you could even run a player-submitted contest for the design. There are enough reasons to play TX other than Ranked and there have been enough TX Ranked seasons. Assuming the first three seasons weren't TX, the S18 marks the 6th TX Ranked season, making TX seasons a third of all Ranked. Leave TX to CBs and give us more variety in Ranked. -

Once again I'm disappointed to see that just about every combat mission or directive task can not be completed in Clan Battles. I can see why some particular missions might not be appropriate for completion in CBs, but for the vast majority there is no reason at all why they should not be active in this mode, that is supposed to be the peak of what is offered. -

Steel is an acceptable substitute for the old method of handing out reward ships, but it doesn't replace the function of getting an R1 flag. You can only play the reward ships now and again, but the flag you can fly whenever you like. -

Why does WG insist on scheduling CBs and 'Ranked' (it's not really Ranked unless there's an R1 flag) at the same time? Players who want to play both have huge demands placed on their time this way, while it makes no difference for players who only enjoy one of the modes. It doesn't help anyone. -

I'm glad WG understands that Research Points are too expensive to worth bothering with right now, but couldn't you have come up with a more imaginative way of introducing more into the economy? I thought the point of having different currencies is that they reward different things, but if you get them all from daily missions they're basically a different colour of coal. -
Everyone claiming that there is some ethical imperative preventing WG from balancing premium ships is being incredibly self-centred. WG markets World of Warships as a free to win game. Everyone who pays for anything in the game - be it premium time, free XP or the myriad other uses of doubloons - is entitled to expect that WG will do everything in their power to maintain a balanced game. WG has a far greater ethical imperative to fulfil that expectation than to allow the relatively few people who paid for any particular premium ship to run amok with her, should she prove to be excessively powerful for her tier.

The new tooltips, filters and display of sequential bundles are nice. I don't like the change to the vertical category display on the left though. The names of the categories were hidden in the tooltips even though there is plenty of room to show them all the time. Nesting Upgrades, Signals, Camouflages and Patches under Customisations is also a regression, resulting in more clicks being required to reach these categories.

10 kilosteel for TX permacamos that don't even approach 'Ultimate Crocodile' bonuses don't look so hot when you can see Moskva permacamo owners getting shafted in the very same patch notes. The idea of steel for daily missions is a travesty too.

The mission icons on the post-battle screen have been improved for Round 2 of PTS by making the appearance of completed missions very distinct from missions in progress. I hope that the Combat Missions screen in port will be similarly improved before release. -

The new interface broadly improves on the old one, but there is still room for improvement. For example, look at this chain of missions: completed missions and locked missions look almost identical. How about a gold border or highlight on completed missions to make it obvious that they're put to bed? -
Is that on PTS? Demounting still costs doubloons on live as far as I can see.
