Curiously the other CV i got in a crate was the Sanzang which is basically a Saipan in a fancy frock. I think the algorithm looks at the ships you seem to be short of in port and tries to make up for it..........

All fair points but remember most players can't tell if the chat spammer is making good points or is not. there are plenty of chat spammers who do not. FWIW i think the shiki was steering into me which didn't help. The irritation factor will either just make people play worse or what I usually do is block the messages from that player entirely. Turn it down a bit and ideally give clear requests rather than confusing pings.

He may fondly imagine this is the case but the wall of map pinging, "concentrate fire on the XXX" 6 times in a row and "well dones" and so on does not actually provide any useful feedback to people who are not aware of why he's doing it. It just comes across as mocking of the less experienced/skilled which is irritating at best. Sometimes (for example in this match) a terribletm player driving a FdG gets in an unintentional collision with a SHiki. Despite being in full reverse, for some reason the sodding ship won't go backwards at all so he ends up being tangled up for ages. Having clever clogs pipe up at that point is just plain annoying. The match in question is the one where you said "it's so frustrating to have to play with you people" "i now know how your teachers must have felt" The thing is you seem to want the team to work together but then just abuse them which is not really going to motivate anyone to do what you are trying (very ineffectively) to communicate for them to do.

umm, this one from this mission chain 3 ships so far from randomish crates and 2 of the were CVs, still it's better than nothing

@MacArthur92 in arms race just now My god your division mate ovanbruce in the midway was an irritating chat spammer. Is he always like that? Does he realise it just makes his team play worse not better?

The thing with stats is that one bit of it on its own doesn't tell you much 71% on the hindy isn't bad, but over 26 games is not really terribly meaningful. for example, here's my amazing performance on the Hawkins looks good, right? Over 51 games so a reasonable sample...... Actually no it's just pure luck if you're getting a good win rate and you have high PR and high damage, chances are that the high win rate is at least in part down to your performance. Personally I'm just happy to be improving all the time.

The standard answer is because it would make the queue time too long - particularly for CV players Noone has asked if we'd rather wait a bit longer or not have to play against CVs, or be double up-tiered etc.

I don't know why they don't just go the whole hog and replace CVs with Island airfields. That would save them having to worry about complicated things like steering and worrying about getting attacked.

Don your flameproof suit and go into ranked. This season is especially enjoyable as it's T10 all the way through so there is a greater density of Prima Donnas who will judge your every move and provide kind and constructive feedback.

Sounds like a feature to me. Imagine having to steer the ship and shoot at the same time. That'd never be possible

Actually it looked like a bit of a laugh, sometimes this game is taken far too seriously.

Less tournament more fun knock about for charity. The match after was a torp only DD fest in T4s if I remember right.

Of course coop costs money, they have to pay people to drive the opposition ships.
