I would respectfully: Agree that you can play around CVs sometimes (sometimes they have the hots for you and it doesn' t matter what you do they'll come right accross the map to find you), but the same is true of subs, you just need to develop the same level of avoidanz skillz as you have for CVs. Probably not going to do this by avoiding games with them in entirely. Disagree that you can entirely avoid CV planes or sail away as they are much faster than you and can reach you wherever you are on the map. Goodskillful/determined CV griefers will always find you. Point out that shooting down the planes generally achieves nothing as you can't eliminate the source all that easily. This is much easier with Subs as they do generally at least have to come within range of your guns to hit you, even if they're not spotted/targetable at the time.

Given past form on Ships from free Containers (Sanzang, Loyang B and Saipan B) If any of the crates from my 10 certs yeild anything it will surely be Saipan. They really want me to play that thing.

I've played Randoms over any other mode and the chances of there being a sub and you encounter it and that encounter results in a problem are very very low and far far far less than the chances of the same thing for CVs. CVs are still the griefer's choice and way more annoying. At least with a sub you have a chance to eliminate the threat as it attacks you and it stays dead. CVs not so much. So given CVs are still here and multiplying (just wait for the Glorious Luxembourg Navy CV line in years to come), I woulnd't waste your time hoping Subs will disappear any time soon.

I would have liked: Smaland Asashio Lenin But at the time they were withdrawn did not have the resources. I guess if Asashio B comes around next year and I have enough dubs by then it may get got. Not overly worried by not having these as there are plenty of alternatives.

I remember when the Dutch botes came out - oh the howling and wailing about this game breaking airstrike. Now with the simple counter of moving a tiny bit, we don't care. Just wait until the Dutch submarines come out. They will surely have homing air strikes.

This is fine. All the AA did was get you spotted if you forgot to turn it off, so this now removes that hazard. As an aside, does anyone know if ships with dual purpose battery get less AA effect if you're firing the main guns at ships?

I had great fun with this bote. Stay at max range and keep either out of sight or changing direction and speed constantly. Don't make yourself the easiest target. The torps are surprisingly handy on occasions as the angles are great and the range not bad. Don't be afraid to use the AP as it does work in the right circumstances

FWIW, i find the DD autopilot also does not work very well. When I am in smoke and use the autopilot to move me behind an island, sometimes it takes me to somehere where I am spottted or steers me into a torpedo's path. Something must be done!

You're two too short for a 7v7, so you could: Have a lovely coop style bot to make up the numbers Play 6v6 Adjust Ranked so it's actually fun and engaging to play and attracts more players not sure what the least worst option is Usually I quite enjoy rolling around in the Lightning in silver but this T10 stuff is just plain horrid. Most of the problem is the vile hate in the chat which seems so much worse this time round for some reason.

Krasny Kreme for me Not that it's all that hard to come by but I don't recall seeing one in battle. My snowflake random outing in it resulted in it torpedoing a Shira and getting 5 cits on a Myoko on the way to sinking both which was pretty funny.

They're in every game now - 4 or 5 on each team. And the homing torps can spot as well. We're doomed!

I started hating freddie the grocer and ended up loving it and getting better than average results. Full secondary build for me for the lols, didn't bother with range or speed mods because it ain't no sniper and going faster just gets you into trouble quicker. My best success was by closing the range under some cover otherwise you just get burnt do the waterline in no time. People do like to burn a german bb, so limiting the number that can shoot at you helps a lot, and don't think the just because you have the secondaries that go out to 12k means you must get to within 12k as fast as possible.
