Same feelings from me (i'd like to add the N1K, which however, had a planned carrier based version). I mean, the Tenrai could in theory operate from a carrier (i tried in my simulator; IL-2 1946), but it was never ment to (also, J= "land-based fighter"). I think that when i tried the BF-110 (the C variant that WG plans on using also had less powerful engines, DB 601) i just couldn't even take off, but i'm not really sure, i'll re-try and i'll let you know.

So... Today is my birthday (20) and as a "birthday gift" i got myself the gorgeous looking (and OP) USS Alaska. I was actually looking forward to get it since whe was announced (which was even before i started playing btw). It took a while but it was worth it. I actually reached 1 milion FreeXP some time ago, but i first wanted to get a bit more FreeXP (100k more than what i needed), so that when i would have got Alaska, i would still have some FreeXP left. And here she is. Also, it's just in time for the upcoming Ranked; only "issue" is that i don't really have a perfect captain for her (for ranked i mean); i think i'll use my Georgia captain, for now at least, that has Expert Marksman, Adrenaline Rush and Fire Prevention (plus PM and BFT) which are really good on Alaska and he's also my highest in points US captain, so... not the best you can put on her, but unless i want to use a 6 points cpt... you know, i work with what i have. This is one thing i completely agree with Sub_Octavian; i mean, sure, high Tier economy is... demanding, for the lack of a better word, but still, you don't need to go down to lower tiers to farm credits to then play high tiers. This is a good thing. The thing is that, this is a good change, if WG doesn't touch the economy and let me explain why. Right now a player A that doesn't use premium consumables has an income X, while a player B that uses them as in income Y (higher or lower than X, doesn't matter, it's a different income). Now, if WG changes (hopefully not) the economy due to the "free premium consumables" this is what would happen: nothing really changes for player B that already used premium consumables and also he might have higher income because before, he had to pay credits for those, but player A that didn't use them, gets it's income nerfed, because he didn't had to pay credits, maybe even going into a situation where he really needs to go down the tiers to farm credits. As i said, this is a change that i 100% agree with if the economy isn't changed because, why whould you make a change to the consumables but then you nerf the economy (something the Sub_Octavian said that they don't want to do) to basically put the players into the same situation as before? To me, it doesn't make a lot of sense because why would you do the change in the first place? if then you change other parameters to have the same situation as before?

They do. Look at the image; Des Moines Hydro has 2 charges normally, 3 with either premium or superintendent and 4 max, in the picture, it has 3 and the captain doesn't have any skills, so they will keep +1 charge.

That's true. I think that my decicions regarding grinding kind of saved me from this, because, back to the PEF event, if you remember, there was that last directive with national specific missions and there was this problem with some players having just a few nations and they wouldn't have been able to complete it, exc.; and it was around that time that i decided that instead of grinding just a few lines, or a few nations, i would instead have grinded besically almost every nation in the game, in parallel, so that in an event of simething like that happened again, i would have any problems with nation specific directives. I think it was better for me to grind this way because i stood at lower tiers much longer ( I still concentrated myself on some lines tho, primarely on IJN and German). Also, shout out to Flamu for basically teaching me how to play; i really improved my performance thanks to him. I actually wanted to make a similar suggestion, just without the "more than one tier above...". I mean, if you have a Tier 5, you can ony buy a Tier 5 premium and so on. (Of course this should not affect Resource ships or Container ship, just Premium and doubloon ones) P.S. today i saw this guy in the Roma (i hope that he got it from the April fool thing), see spoiler because i have no words. Yeah boys. Today i finished the 4th directive and got the containers. I was at 200 tokens and to be sure to get Västerås i needed only one of them to be 140 tokens and thanks to RNJesus, this were my drops (20 - 10 - 10 - 30 - 140 - 10 - 20) and i was able to get ship. I don't think i'll be able to get the camo, but i don't really care about because Tier 6+ ship have perma camo anyway.

@HMS_Kilinowski From what i understood from your explanation that seems to be the "cheat pack" that Phly was talking about back when the game was still in Beta test, he talks about it in this video (see spoiler)

@N0V3MB3RF0X7R07 I really like the idea; one possible issue that i see is the implementation of Hyuga, because she's a battlecarrier and... we all know how CVs are nowdays. Tho that could be worked around by a "re-introduction" of RTS, with only bombers (as she was supposed to carry IRL) just as in WoWS: Blitz. Or making it a consumable as you said.

No, you're not the only one. I have only WoWS on my laptop that has a Nvidia Geforce 940MX and i play at somewhat high settings between 30 and 40 fps, mostly because i don't want the game to look and i'm fine with it, tho i'm not hungry for graphics. About retro-games, i also play IL-2 Sturmovik 1946; it is modded, but the graphics are still pretty much "vanilla". Also, i still have this game: F-22 Air Dominance Fighter, which came out in 1997, i don't have it installed because i don't want to screw something up, but i'll bet you that it would still work on Win 10, and btw, i really enjoyed that game.

So... a problem that i see with the German CVs is how the community will react to this, due to the state of carriers right now. I'll be nutral on this, not in favor, not against it. @MrConway @Crysantos About the Tier 10 Carrier, i see no reasons not ot chenge the name adding "von" (Manfred von Richthofen) as i think it will be an, for the lack of a better word, "insult" to him, i mean, he was a baron, the "von" MUST be there; then, in battle, you can just cut the name as you do with other ships, but, please, add the "von". I mean... he's basically my mentor, what else do i have to say? There is in fact one ship that had the "von" in her name, that being SMS Von der Tann, named after Ludwig von der Tann, so, there is at least on ship that proves that "von" has to be added. Also, @MrConway @Crysantos this is a bit off topic but talking about ships' names, i have a small naming request for the Italian BBs (whenever they will come out, my request is just for a name), and that is: can the Tier 10 Italian BB be called ITALIA? I think it fits and it was also used as it was the name given to Littorio after the war, i persoanlly see no issues there. I'm only asking for the name, nothing else. Plus, this is not a request, but just something on my books about Vittorio Veneto/Littorio that i'd like to share; it's that while we can talk about either Vittorio Veneto class and Littorio class with no issues, as there was no ships that actually gave the name to the class, it's more accrate to talk about Vittorio Veneto class as Vittorio Veneto was launched first (also becasue later on, Littorio changed name).

So... I wanted to share this, even if it's not really my achievement, but let's that it is at 1%. Little bit of back story; about 2 weeks ago, in Flamu's Discord, we were discussing about Jean Bart getting removed and if "we" (between air quotes because i already had it at that point) were able to get it before the removal and i was doing the calculations to see if someone could have been able to get it or not; so there was this guy that wanted Jean Bart, but he didn't knew if he was going to be able to get it. So i did the maths and told him what to do from basically that day onwards, in order to get Jean Bart; which was to get some Steel from Ranked (now he has 1.700, not enough to get anything for Steel, so, might as well use it for Jean Bart), also get all 3 Daily Containers (all resources of course) and complete 1 daily mission, and this each day. He did what i told him to, sometimes saying at what point he was so that i could check, and today he pinged me to thank me, as he reached enough coal (together with Steel) to get Jean Bart (with Coupon of course). He only added that now he needs to get some more Coal to lower the ammount of Steel needed, but the ship is his anyway. The achievement is all his, all i did was to tell him what to do in order to get the ship. (I've also made this Wallpaper for him)

I've already redeemed all of the codes and i have to say that all of them worked for me.

There doesn't seem to be any time limit; Daily Containers can also drop items.
