Agree too; if i had enough doubloons i would get it just because if the Stuka; maybe not this patch, maybe the next bacause you can't use the coupon on it, but main issue is that i don't have enough doubloons . In the meantime i'm flying it in Il-2 1946 (used the postwar markings so that i could post this with no isssues) Maybe it's because they still have PTSD from it while i agree that the Ta-152C are not the originally intended GZ planes, saying that it's half-imaginary is far from reality and the C variant in particular was specifically designed as a Zerstorer, the H variant was the High altitude fighter; they made some prototypes; it just never entered production and they did tested a Wurger with a torpedo Link Only Also, the Me.155A (the ones whe have on GZ) while never went beyon paper, the A variant was specifically designed to be used on GZ, however, the combination of GZ getting scrapped and Germany needing High altitude interceptors shifted the requerement and the new version Me.155B was redesigned as a High Altitude fighter, later on, the project went to Blohm & Voss and became the well known Bv.155. Fun fact, contrary to many people belief, the Aichi D3A was not inspired by the Ju.87; it was actually inspired by the Heinkel He.70. -

You don't even have to bet; it will be there for sure; espescially the IL-2T torpedo bomber; then i think we'll also see Ishaks, Chaikas, maybe some other Polikarpov, LaGGs, maybe MiGs, Yaks... also the Russians used rockets even on fighters (not for ground attack i mean) -

The thing is, why can't i play a ship the way I want to play it; in the sense that: if a ship is built for a specific gameplay, why then we can mount different upgrades and different commander skills that effect the gameplay? Also, Secondaries are secondaries, they are not the main armament. Whether ships have good secondaries, doesn't mean that they are heavly focused on them and that you should play them with a full secondary build. The US trio for example, you have improved secondaries' disperion (between Massa and Bismarck's secondaries dispersion, stock with nothing mounted, Bismarck's secondaries have 180m more than Massa at the same range) but they only pen 21mm which is DD plating, and with IFHE it goes up to 26mm, which is basically useless. Manual fire for secondaries is a downgrade imo, because: your secondaries don't fire automatically any more, they only fire at the guy you select, if you select it; also, because of this, since you can only target one ship they only fire on one side, if for example you have ships on both sides. More importantly, the secondaries AI aims for the center of the ship, which means that you want your secondaries to still hit a bit all over the place (not too much), so that they maybe hit parts that they can pen (superstructure). What makes the USN secondary trio good and that made them surpass the German ones (while still not being as tanky) is that with the improved secodnary dispersion, they allow you to got for a Standard BB build (or slightly modified) and still have decently accurate secondaires by just mounting the module, also because you don't have to trade main gun accuracy for it, since they get it at slot 6. This is my Georgia build, which i would use also on Massa and Ohio; for my secondaries i only use the module and BTF, beacuse better reload is always nice, that's it, and i could even not got for BTF, and it would be fine. ( https://wowsft.com/ship?index=PASB729&modules=1111&upgrades=112122&commander=PCW001&skills=2184201218&ar=100&consumables=1111&pos=0 ) For the German BBs, yes, 128mm and 150mm secondaries get 1/4 pen, which means that they can pen 32mm and 38mm plating respectivly, but since you have standard secondary dispersion, Manual fire for secondaries is a must have if you want to hit something, and as i said above, the downsides are not worth the better dispersion. Also, the fact the you need to trade main gun accuracy if you want better secondary range and dispersion, is something i wouldn't do. Main Battery first, then the secondaries, then the rest. This is my Bismarck build (still a bit incomplete because i don't have a 19p cpt), which is a standard BB build, with the dispersion upgrade, and if you have noticed, i've never complatined about my Bismarck guns. It's not a night and day difference, but honestly, it's never a night and day difference on any ship you mount thaat upgrade on. imagine if there was a module that reduced your dispersion a bit... oh wait there is, but if you want to use it, you can't go for a secondary build. What i don't like about SeaLord is that on German BBs (and also the USN trio) the only build he knows is "Full Secondary Build"; i mean, he doesn't even run Fire Prevention . Who is the absolute potato that doesn't run Fire Prevention on a BB; it's basically a must have. -
The Wyvern we have in game is the TF.1 piston engine variant, not the turbo-prop one While i agrre that different angine shouldn't sound similar, i do understand that they might want to do some "normalization".

true, but only GZ get's his own special secondary dispersion. Tho Massa dispersion is good enough (it's around 180m less then Bismarck at the same range) -

I'm looking at the stream and considering he's using a Secondary build (his secondary range is 11.5km) the dispersionon of the main guns isn't too bad. -

Honestly, i still want Pommern; i mean, i quite enjoyed New Mexico, that has the same formula, the same sigma and around the same overall dispersion that you'll find on Pommenr (because you can't mount the dispersion upgrade on USN ships) and her guns never really felt too bad; yes, they were shotgunny, but they never really felt horrible. Also, between 1.6 and 1.5 sigma, you wouldn't even noticed the difference. I'll still wait for reviwes tho. -

For the last time: USN, UK and German BBs have the same dispersion formula, only thing that changes is the sigma. (and the number of guns, tho that changes from ship to ship) Actually, GK and Conqueror have the same dispersion, the same sigma, and the same number of guns, so, with the same build, they are equally accurate. -

thx I see your point, tho for me at least, the gun caliber is the last of my problems, since she's also not the only one (Alsace and Jean Bart, not to mention Bourgogne at tier 10). As i said hen she was announced, it's actually a good thing that she wasn't another "big gun" BB, with guns that make cruiser plating irrelevant. I hope they won't since this guy is the 3rd higher German socring ace of WW1 (54), after Manfred (80) and Udet (62), and the German CVs are actually pretty good (in the sense that they are not trash, not that they are good for the game), tho we'll see (i do think it's going to get released in 0.9.7 too) Erich Loewenhardt -

Well, Paolo Emilion is a Capitani Romani class light cruiser, tho they were more large destroyers or as i call them, "Super light cruisers"; they were designed to outrun (41knots) and outgun the Le Fantasque and Mogador class. -

What concernes me is that, i think WG is still going to sell us the usual excuse:"...but she has strong secondaries and torps and hydro......." which is complete BS, because: Hydro is extremely situational on BBs, yes, 6 km ship decection and 4 km torp detection is nice, but as we all know it doesn't make you immune to toprs, especially EU DD torps, which are so fast (Tier 9 and 10 go 90 knots with the moduel) that it doesn't matter if you spot them 4 km away, yuo the enemy's prediction is good, you're going to eat them anyway. The 6km spotting is also knida useless because unless the ship is already within 6km (let's say coming out from behind an island) that feature is basically useless. Torps; good luck first getting in range to fire them, which in the current meta means say bye to around 1/3 of your HP, also assuming your topr tubes didn't already got destroyed; plus, if people are aware that you have toprs they are either going to keep themselves at a safe distance, or just dodge them. Torps are a bit more usefull than hydro imo, but again, you need the right situation . The "Strong Secondaries" on German ship is basically a comlpete lie, because while yes, 128mm (which Pommern doesn't have) and 150mm secondaries get 1/4 pen, which means you can pen 32mm plating (38mm for the 150mm), but the issue is that the German secondary dispersion on the secondaries is standard secondary dispersion; only Massa, Georgia, Ohio, GZ and the German CVs get improved secondary dispersion (GZ has it's own, while Georgia, Ohio and the German CVs get Massa dispersion) which for comparison: Bismarck stock secondary dispersion is 458m at 7,5km while Massa secondary dispersion, at the same range as they both have 7.5km secondaries (without any thing mounted) is 278m. still out-DPMs FdG with 406mm btw; 253k for Pommern against the 234k of 406mm FdG (420mm FdG is 223k). Roma has 70mm more pen, 400 more AP alpha, heavier shells, and slightly faster shell velocity, when compared to Bismarck -

Yep, Georgia is how the Iowa's should have been (more or less at least), and I wish, I wish the Iowas would have looked like that, 'cause of they did they would have been my favourite battleships even, sadly they didn't and that honour goes to Yamato. -
