So, i wanted to say this for some time, but i was mostly waiting for the USN pack to come out of WiP. Long story short, the guys at SAS 1946 have extracted the models from WoWS (i assume they got them from gamemodels3d) and created mod packs for Il-2 1946. was about to say that, but yes, essecially they use the same techique, the only difference was that the bouncing bombs were designed to be used against dams and explode underwater.

I don't really know about it, but they werent the only ones to use it; the Germans used it especially JG 2 and JG 26 attacking ships in the Channel. The americans used it tho not that much. Also Dambusters time Fun fact; the Dambusters attack inspired the Fjord run of 633 Squadron, and basically both, inspired the Star Wars 4: A New Hope trench run.

other than WoWS i play: - IL-2 1946 - Minecraft; not a lot, but i do play it sometimes - Azur Lane

they seem reasonable. Tho considering it's another dockyard event i won't put much effort into it. I think i'll concentrate on the new Campaing (also because i took a month break from WoWS and i think it's better to get back restarting from low Tiers)
