Agreed; the issue with Ludendorff is that since it was named after some "questionable" person, it got some people triggered and WG changed the name. I just personally think they could have chose a better name. About ITA BBs, the only "better" alternative (between air quotes because of personal opinion) is ITALIA, the name that was given to Littorio in July 1943 after the fall of the Fascist government; but again, Cristoforo Colombo was used, so it's fine. We do know because we know the formula (from the wiki): Penetration = ((0.24908 x caliber) + 4.37966) rounded down; which means that 406mm SAP pens 105mm more than enought to citadel Smolensk. (381mm SAP pens 99mm) Tho always remember, SAP only pens one layer of armour (like HE) which means that if your citadel is not exposed (spaced armour, like on the French Cruisers and Petro, or turtleback, like on the German cruisers) SAP won't be able to citadel. Tho having a dmg alpha equal to Georgia's AP alpha (15.750) it's still going to hit like an absolute truck (5.250 each pen)

@Toivia i agree; for me, as far as a name was used or proposed (ship was ordered but never completed) it's fine. Btw, Cristoforo Colombo was not only the name of the Training vessel, but also it was supposed to be the 3rd Caracciolo class BB, but it never happened. Marco Polo was the name of an armoured cruiser, which makes it a little iffy for a BB, but, it was used, so i'm not complaining. This is Marco Polo

i think after, it's just that it reminded me of those two campaigns. I might try Strasbourg, even tho i don't really need it because i already have Dunkerque and JB, so even if i won't get it, i wouldn't have lost anything particular. I'm not really interested in the other campaign and Hizen is too much for me. We'll see. And yes; people are mentioning Yahagi, Yoshino and Furutaka . I mean, if you get it for free, whatever, you got it for free, who cares; but why would anyone spend money on it. That's my problem with the Dockyard, 2 premium ships are nice but the fact that they are Tachibana (which is okay, but it's Tier 2) and Yahagi makes them very meh.
