Had the same isssue. Submitted a ticket, then saw this post and logged back in where it seems to have resolved itself again. Very strange indeed. I'd probably wait a few days before selling the ships just to make sure any bugs have been worked out properly, as these numbers seems to be shifting. Earlier I think the inventory also displayed the accumulated XP on each ship, but this seems to have disappeared now.
