Bei der Moskwa wurde entschieden, dass es keine Kompensation für bereits vorhandene Tarnungen gibt, da diese bis zur Umwandlung zum Spezialschiff bereits genutzt werden konnten und somit die Leistung bereits erbracht wurde. You can also do that ingame. And it might also encourage some players who think a chat ban is something like a badge of honor. That's something we don't need. If you get chatbanned you violated rules, no need to push the ego of some people.

It is not possible to see wether or not a player is chat banned. I also think it won't be a positive addition, it will just encourage naming and shaming based on this.

As I said, it's pretty hard to define what is an insult and what is not. In the forum we have the advantage that it's not an automated system but the ingame chatbans are automated (as everyone should know, at least the shorter ones are fully automated). About the wiki question: I'm one of the lead editors of the German wiki and maintain templates for the German wiki and the English WoWs:Legends wiki, the English wiki is managed by a team from NA.

I want to clarify this and since you published the content of the warning yourself and told others what this was about, I can share these details now: It was not about posting the gif itself, the full text of the gif is "Stop breaking the law. [edited]". And in this context this can be seen as an insult and is a rule violation. You could have just send a PM to me if you think the warning was unjustified or send a PM to Tanatoy as explained by Teob. If you ask me why you got a warning I will always explain why, at least as long as you don't insult me with that PM (I think I don't have to explain why that won't help defending your case^^). It's also possible that you post something multiple times and won't get warned the first time. We don't have a list of words or images we consider to be rule violations. We look at the context of a post and some more things. So it is possible that you post the same thing twice but the first time it's just off topic/a little bit of trolling and the second time it's treated as insult. I explained this in public because I think this is the best way to clarify this issue. For the future, please avoid breaking another rule by discussing moderation in a public thread and just send a PM to the moderator who issued the warning or to Tanatoy if you think discussing it with the moderator won't work. Edit: The forum automatically edits the word in question. But I think it's not hard to imagine the correct word :)

I want to clarify this: Let's take for example the word "idiot": It's possible that someone thinks calling someone an idiot is ok and not a real insult. However, by definition this is an insult and there are people who feel offended by being called an idiot. So you will probably get punished for it even if you don't think it is an insult. Not everyone reacts the same way to those things and you will never be able to find a solution everyone agrees with.

I won't remove the comments because they were not offensive this time and I would have to remove parts of a discussion that was fine except for those comments.

Die Systemvoraussetzungen sagen ganz klar, was du brauchst, daran hat sich auch in letzter Zeit nichts geändert. Die überwiegende Mehrheit der Spieler wird wohl auch über einen festen Anschluss spielen, auf Dauer lässt es sich bei Spielen nicht vermeiden, dass diese mehr Daten verbrauchen. So blöd es klingt, aber wenn du vernünftig spielen willst, ist ein entsprechender Internetanschluss Pflicht. Mobiles Internet für Spiele war noch nie eine wirklich gute Idee. Teurer als ein solcher Mobiltarif dürfte eine halbwegs taugliche Internetleitung auch nicht sein, muss ja kein Gigabit Anschluss sein.

Ein Anfänger mag einen solchen Kapitän noch nicht haben, allerdings halte ich DDs auch für die Klasse, die am wenigsten für einen Anfänger geeignet ist. Abgesehen davon ist das ein Problem für alle Klassen, nicht nur Zerstörer. Ist aber nunmal etwas, womit man als Anfänger leben muss. Klar könnte man das lösen, indem man den Skill einfach entfernt, dann werden die erfahreneren Spieler aber irgendwas anderes skillen und der Anfänger hat wieder einen Nachteil. Das ist ein Kreislauf, es wird sich daran nichts ändern, das geht mit dem System einfach nicht anders.
