We just updated our gamedata to game version 12.5. A week ago, we also released version 2.0 of ShipBuilder Desktop which features a huge UI rework and finally achieves feature parity between both the Desktop and Web version. Some of the main features that were added are updated Ballistic Charts which allow to add ships with build modifiers now. There is also a multi-tab feature for ship stats, allowing you to view multiple ships and switching between them easily. The Acceleration Charts feature allows you to check out the acceleration behaviour of ships and the new ship comparison offers you a way to quickly compare data of lots of ships in a tabular form.

Hello everyone, today we present you the WoWs ShipBuilder, a tool that makes creating and sharing ship configurations (commonly referred to as builds) easy. If you know the popular WoWs Fitting Tool, you know the basics of what our application does. So why do you need the ShipBuilder instead of the existing tools? With the ShipBuilder it is easy to save and load your builds. It comes with a simple and structured UI, grouping relevant elements while still clearly separating different components. You can either share builds with others or just store them and access them later again. The tool will automatically save your last builds so you don't have to use any external tools or notes to store your builds. It comes with a nice dark mode and includes some additional features like visualizing the turret angles of a ship or showing the dispersion graphs for one or more ships. The application itself is stored in your local app data and installation should not require admin permissions. However, you may get a Windows SmartScreen warning or a warning from your AV software when installing the tool. This is due to the distributed binary being unsigned. Unfortunately, code-signing certificates are rather expensive so we are not able to sign our binary at the moment. Installing/Uninstalling Screenshots/Application features After the first installation the application will check for updates and allow you to update automatically or manually, depending on your personal preference. Hallo zusammen, da in den letzten Tagen mehrere Threads zum Thema Clanfusionen hier aufgetaucht sind, haben wir beschlossen, diesen Thread als Sammelthread für Angebote und Anfragen für Clanfusionen zu erstellen. Dabei gelten die folgenden Regeln: Jeder Clan darf EIN EINZELNES Angebot hier posten. Bei Mehrfachposts werden diese sowie andere Angebote des Clans entfernt uind der Clan darf nicht weiter hier eine Fusion anbieten! Somit ist es nicht erlaubt, eine Art Bumping oder Pushing für das eigene Angebot zu betreiben. Wenn mindestens ein halbes Jahr seit dem letzten Angebot vergangen ist UND das Angebot mindestens 2 Seiten im Thread zurück liegt, darf ein neues Angebot gepostet werden. Wenn ihr hingegen einen Clan sucht, dem ihr beitreten könnt, könnt ihr das ebenfalls hier posten. Auch hier gilt: EINE EINZELNE Anfrage. Falls ihr für einzelne Spieler einen neuen Clan sucht, benutzt die Sektion für die Clansuche, hier geht es nur um Fusionen von Clans, nicht um Wechsel einzelner Spieler (-gruppen). Bitte immer klar machen, ob ihr mit eurem Clan einem anderen Clan beitreten wollt oder anderen Clans anbietet, euch beizutreten. Wenn das nicht klar erkennbar ist, kann der Beitrag entfernt werden. Mir wäre keine weitere Aussage dazu bekannt. Ein möglicher Faktor wäre das fehlende Rate-Limit, diese inoffizielle API hat im Gegensatz zur offiziellen API keine Limitierung der Requests pro Sekunde. Ansonsten dürften da keine privaten Daten enthalten sein, wenn das so wäre, wäre das sowieso nochmal ein massiv viel größeres Problem.

Ich habe einige Beiträge aufgrund von Regelverstößen entfernt. Die Diskussion von Moderationsentscheidungen ist im Forum nicht erlaubt, Fragen zu Entscheidungen können aber gerne direkt per PN einem Moderator gestellt werden. Kommentarlos sollte allerdings im Normalfall nicht gelöscht werden, mindestens der Verfasser der entsprechenden Beiträge sollte über entsprechende Maßnahmen informiert werden. Dies kann in Form einer PN oder bei ernsthafteren Regelverstößen auch in Form einer Verwarnung geschehen. Öffentliche Kommentare gibt es dagegen meist nur, wenn die Beiträge aktuell waren oder ein bedeutender Teil einer aktiven Diskussion waren. Ansonsten vermeiden wir oft, alte bzw. schon inaktive Threads durch einen entsprechenden Kommentar wieder nach oben zu befördern. Ich habe mir außerdem einen der kritisierten Fälle angeschaut, in dem konkreten Fall ist es tatsächlich nicht ganz korrekt gelaufen und der Hinweis zu den entfernten Beiträgen hat gefehlt. Ich gebe das entsprechend weiter, so etwas sollte und darf eigentlich nicht passieren. In solchen Fällen kann auch gerne eine PN an den entsprechenden Moderator (oder auch an einen anderen Moderator oder im Zweifel an den zuständigen CM) geschickt werden, ohne Hinweis fällt so etwas leider nicht auf. Bitte vermeidet weitere Diskussionen zur Moderation und bleibt beim ursprünglichen Thema des Threads.

This is a false positive. Our installer is a single-file executable that extracts itself into its target directory. While this is common for installers it is also something a lot of malicious code uses in order to hide from AV tools. This results in detections like this one. As long as you download the application from the releases section of our GitHub repo, the executable is safe. There is not much we can do against these detections. The only option would be to sign the application and slowly establish trust for that certificate. However, code signing certificates are pretty expensive and we are not willing to pay that much for a tool that we provide for free and develop in our free time. Feel free to check the code in our GitHub repository, it is all open source so anyone with some programming knowledge can check for themselves that we do not include any kind of malicious code in the application. If you still don't trust the application, you could also use the web version instead of the desktop version. It does not require any installation and therefore eliminates this issue. It has all the features of the desktop version except for build image export. This is the result of a scan of the most recent installer on VirusTotal, showing that it does not currently get flagged by any common AV engine.

We just updated the application to version 1.6.2. This application version is necessary to support the new game data for update 12.1 which should be automatically fetched by the application after the update.

First of all, I want to emphasize once again that promoting or advertising nazism or anything similar is strictly forbidden and will be dealt with accordingly. Posting pictures or texts glorifying or promoting these topics is also not allowed even if you intend to use those pictures in an argument against it because it still promotes the topic even if that was not the intention. We also do not allow political discussions in this forum because those tend to escalate very fast and rarely stay constructive. If you think anything in the game may be problematic due to some historical events feel free to point this out. However, if you think this could lead to a bigger discussion please contact one of the CMs directly. These rule violations are considered as extremely severe violations which means that they can result in an immediate permanent ban in the forum. Extreme cases may also result in an involvement of law enforcement depending on local laws. Furthermore, we do not allow insults against other users in the forum no matter the context. Just because someone else derails a thread or tries to provoke others it does not justify responding with the same behaviour. An insult is still an insult and will be handled as such. Also, if you encounter a post that is clearly a rule violation please just report and then ignore it. Responding to those posts just increases their visibility and draws attention to them which results in a thread escalating even faster.

Was El2aZeR sagt, ist korrekt. Vortex ist streng genommen eine interne API, wird aber von diversen Tools genutzt, da diese API diverse Daten anbietet (z.B. auch das Karma von Spielern), welche über die offizielle API nicht verfügbar sind. Das war auch die API, welche ich für die CB Schiffs-Statistiken genutzt hatte, bis WG diese Daten plötzlich entfernt hat. Ich nehme mal an, dass es Gründe gibt, warum wiochi nicht auf diese API setzt. WG ist wohl nicht übermäßig glücklich über die Verwendung der inoffiziellen API, zumindest war dies die Aussage in der Vergangenheit.
