Wow, think you need calm down fella, but as I said all it will do is encourage ranters to rant.

So if I report player for abusive and racial language Lose a Karma point???, no chance, all it will do is allow more players to rant and rage in game, sorry but not a good idea.

1 big problem at the moment is that you If as a DD, you stay in the CA/BB AA bubble at the beginning of the game you constantly get berating messages to go cap or go spot, in fact lost 5 Karma points in 3 games because I would not go cap at the beginning of the game, so basically DD are stuck between a rock and a hard place at the moment.

It’s not that they need nerfing, the problem is balance, between DD & CV there is no balance. The DD can not get close to a T8/10 CV and survive as you are easily spotted and the auto secondaries are on you straight away inc planes, if you smoke up he just sails away at 30 knots +, most DD T 8 to 10 have rubbish AA as well so you can not take the planes out, CV. Will drop a squad of fighters over your smoke and as soon as the smoke cleats you are easy meat to rocket attack, the poor Akizuki ha appalling speed and manoeuvrability so easy target. I breath a sigh of relief when one of the other DD in our team gets targeted and as it get neutered by the CV this allows me to do my job of spotting and defending/taking caps and getting the odd torp attacks in. So please WG balance CV to DD please.

You forget that German and French BB at T7 have turtleback armour, good luck there.

Please, please either nerf the rockets or give T8/9/10 DD better AA defence because once spotted by an even reasonable T8/10 CV player you are nuked by rockets time and time again, there is no real escape unless you are the DD on your team not being targeted. I don't disagree that CV’s of old needed changing, but the balance is really broken, please fix it.

Try playing a T6 DD when the teams have 2 x T8 CV’s in them, you don't stand a chance, nor do T6 BB’s when CV. Can drop 3 torps at a time, rinse and repeat, it is painful to watch and be part of.

Sorry, did not make it clear enough, if a CV spots a BB with it’s planes, only enemy ships within a 15km range of spotted BB should be able to see and fire at it, 12km for CA and 8km for DD.

Maybe ships spotted by CV planes should be graduated, ie, a BB only shows to ships within a 15km range, CA within a 11km range and DD within an 8 km range, thoughts??

Agreed a T8 CV in a T10 game is bad, but as is a T6 CV in. T8 game, only thing you can do is spot, and try to perma spot them soas to delete from the game.

@sgtmarple please, please learn to play your CV’s correctly. 1/ The biggest threat to a DD is a CV end of story. 2/ ( now please read and inwardly digest) CV are now OP against a DD compared to RTS CV play. 3/ To castrate a DD in game, find a DD (not hard when you have planes flying at high speed all over the map) 4/ As soon as you spot a DD hit your T key ( i believe that is the correct one ) and drop a fighter squad over him. 5/ Your fighter squad will keep you the DD spotted for up to 1 minute i believe. 6/ Now get your bombers or rocket planes and delete the perma spotted DD. 7/ now bask n the glory that you can now counter DD in you CV.

As you play CV’s 70% a f the time I think you need to learn how to play, as it is a CV’s job to spot and basically put a halt to DD movement, so before you start whinging about DD learn to play the CV’s you have correctly. Even better go and play a T7 or T8 DD, there are plenty premiums out and just see how stupid and un informed your comments are. guess we need a CV Bingo Card.
