Mmm, obviously has not played a T6 CV against T8 CA & BB, especially USA ones, if you get 1 run early in the game you are extremely lucky.

Had 2 ranked games on the trot with @Leo_Apollo11 late yesterday evening, I was in my Ryujo we lost both battles unfortunately, the second was my fault in the end as I missed there CV with a Rocket attack ( my ping went loopy ) and it cost us the battle, sorry fella

Smolensk have 13.8 base firing range at tier 10, Smol can have 19km range If you invest range module and AFT, but with non russian arcs it is useless.. most people use it with 16km range.. Kutu have 19km range.. at tier 8... which go against ships only BBs can have that range at that tier.. Kutu have 152mm guns.. smol has 130.. lets add kutu seing less armored targets.. this is huge  Smol has 32.400 HP at tier 10, kutu have 40.700 at tier 8 Smol turns and accelerates/decelerates like a floting cinder brick.. because of 8.2sec rudder shift time.. kutu has 6.5  So.. smolensk is not a better kutuzov, If you ask me, smolensk tier for tier, cannot get even close to kutuzov.. If we'd have a tier 10 kutuzov, that would step on smolensk every time it goes against it..

Totally correct, catch it out of smoke and it is history

Give it a few more weeks and you will have learnt how to counter a Smolensk, there fragility is not much more than a DD, any Mino, DM will wreck one in seconds if it is caught out of smoke or is radar’d, as even a 20sec radar enough time to delete it.

The Smolensk is now the Squishiest TX Cruiser.
