777 Premium Shop Bundle Packages: have the ship but want the extras..!? 777
SamuraiShakaViking posted a question in Q&A Section
1. Premium Shop Bundle Packages: have the ship but want the extras..!? What if i got the Dunkerque in a Xmas box (never bought it), and would now like the package withe the extras and flag? Is is possible to buy the package if you have the ship (by coincidence)??? 2. Will we ever have an opportunity 2 be able to earn i n missions or buy the special ship flags, especially if you already bought that ship in premium store before, for those that are collectors or into military history? -
For those of us that didnt get the high tier french BBs in any lottery containers, I assume that the french containers no longer contain ship missions to obtain the French BB's anymore, just camo etc right?

Is WG customer service always like... this?
SamuraiShakaViking replied to FixCVs_Nautical_Metaphor's question in Q&A Section
Yep, they are very motivated to go out of their way to help and support you, rhetorically, in typing polite responses. That's exhaustive and some consolation at least. Lots of Morale support comrade! -
Strongly Agree. Pls Make it so Constructive criticism / suggestion We are not all experts on WG games' intricate idiosyncracies. Any & all xp should be displayed and annotated at any given time somewhere in the game client UI . ( not evaporating gaseously into cyberspace , invisible XP hanging out there in the void, for the player / customer to presume and assume where to find with hide n seek guessing games). imho This is a (albeit small) failing in the interactive ui design; this is confusing & certainly not user-friendly to the average social gamer, let alone any new or 'trying out' players (eg steam) . but thats your UI design teams suggestion 2 consider FYI more sophisticated and far cheaper games have in-built, in-game -client tool-tips, or even an easy to use , accessible, searchable in-game help 'manual'. Somewhat like a fault checklist protocol to follow. (Even basic smartphones have this as a voice feature now).

Lost at sea... for all those in peril on the sea
SamuraiShakaViking replied to SamuraiShakaViking's topic in General Discussion
FYI May I point out that the response to the first ticket was the drastic step to "reset my account back"; which is only permissible once. He must have easily also checked the XP on the next ship himself too. Lets try logic. Maybe, just perhaps, the expert couldnt locate it either..?? So he recommended his best 'option' instead, advising to reset my account. Why would he have IF he didnt 'find the buried xp either.. so that makes two of us. . Thus, the 'friendly helpful' expert WG employee, obviously far more familiar with the game , even was unable to find the 'lost XP' himself, and had I indeed followed his only alternative solution, I would then have used up & wasted the 'once only' account reset / reclaim a ship 'pass'. SO, i repeat, if It even confused the friendly helpful trained WG employee support person himself, to the point of giving drastic last resort option instead: to reset the account, it's because even he couldnt find the XP; if Support couldnt find it then, and I couldnt, then I doubt anybody on the forum could have either. Only after urging to investigating it further, maybe on a technical level, as I suggested, did they eventually solve the riddle. Constructive criticism / suggestion as I try to be part of the solution not part of the problem, (you encourage suggestions on your website..) : Those of us who do not live on the forums and eat and sleep WG games, are not all experts on WG games' intricate idiosyncracies. Any & all xp should be displayed and annotated somewhere in the game . ( not evaporating gaseously into cyberspace , invisible XP hanging out there in the void, for the player / customer to presume and assume where to find with hide n seek guessing games). Working professionals, the average social gamers, especially in the military, dont have time for hide & seek guessing games. imho This is a (albeit small) failing in the interactive ui design; this is confusing & certainly not user-friendly to the average social gamer, let alone any new or 'trying out' players (eg steam) . but thats your UI design teams problem 2 consider - not mine. If it were me, I would order my attache & liasion officer to consult & draw up a solution , report back within the hour, & fix it stat. (in RL such a small GUI or HUD oversight compounded by failure in communications) would literally sink a ship, eg. the avoidable sinking of HMS Coventry debacle during the Falklands war). FYI more sophisticated and far cheaper games have in-built, in-game -client tool-tips, or even an easy to use , accessible, searchable in-game help 'manual'. Somewhat like a fault checklist protocol to follow. (Even basic smartphones have this as a voice feature now). I tried the forums because the response to the first ticket was to "reset my account back"; which is only permissible once. This was clearly drastic and would have lost me a lot more than two ships and gaseous XP. The forum's constructive advice & my second reply to the ticket isolated and fixed the XP issue (Not why the sold ship reverted to unresearched and un-buyable back...; but even if we dont know why.. at least thats fixed too now, even if my game went down for a while. So Thank u forum, thank u WG. case closed -
Lost at sea... for all those in peril on the sea

Lost at sea... for all those in peril on the sea: There may be a technical bug or glitch, and I submitted a ticket, because: I sold the Tier IV GB bb "Orion" after completing grinding the 22,000 xp for the Tier V "Iron Duke"... in order to get the next tier ship in the port. Alas everything went missing in action (MIA). Davy Jones' cyber locker. Instead however, I literally LOST all research on the Orion, all upgrades (hull etc) and ALL XP, including the 22,000 for the next ship.... I can see my stats for playing the now gone Tier IV, yet in the tree it appears as if I never owned it & played it, let alone (very grindy) grinded out 22,000 of painful XP in that low tier slow bb for the next ship over many games... That XP vanished. Into thin air. I now have neither an Orion, & cannot buy her back, nor the hard earned XP , for the Iron Duke, , just an empty port slot that was my GB bb line slot... all just somehow 'lost at cyber-sea' !? Importantly, There was no disclaimer or warning at all, when busy selling it, that both the ship, AND the XP, would be "un-researched and de-materialised" (I'm shocked into a loss 4 words right now) permanently and couldn't be bought back nor MY own hard grinded hard earned XP used for the next ship. A bizarre kinda 'back to the future' houdini disappearance act is afoot, beware. This isnt april fools yet, nor halloween event... Moreover, there is no mention I can find of any new change in WG policy on this issue; after all it is illogical and irrational.. (no comment iro WG here) and still works in Wot & WOWP. Support, being their "customer comes first", "customer is right", usual helpful enthusiastic politburo are not getting it, they want to backdate and 'reset' my account (which is irrelevant as this applies for MISTAKENLY selling a premium ship, [NB support were most emphatic: but comrade, be warned, this can bizarrely only be done once ever in your life time] & NOT legitimately selling a tech tree ship, in order to progress to the next ) , Support simply ignored the disappearing XP grinded btw.. dont ask them to try multi task. I care far more about getting MY grinded out XP BACK so I can progress and get the hard earned next Tier V ship in port, more than buying the old tier IV tbh, although the principle remains) Perhaps support may realise there is some fault or error here, a technical glitch in the patch or something. It Has really discouraged me. At the least, I have given up grinding the GB bb line now. Farewell Conqueror. It all just somehow evaporated . I cant help but think of the Titanic here. If this missing in action (MIA) has happened twice to me, perhaps I should too walk the plank. Players, especially new players from Steam, BE WARNED! This could happen to you too. The Wot and WoWP XP & tier progression system seems to be torpedoed and listing to keel in WoWs PS After checking I have now noticed that the same has occurred to my Myoko too. All researched ship & upgrades and remaining XP have vanished. (while I was waiting to get the next in line Mogami into the port slot on a Tier VIII sale). So there suddenly goes my grind for the IJN cruiser line into thin air too.. all 'lost at sea' WG !? Heres a mission for you: I'll buy something from you again, if you can find MY missing in action (MIA) XP for the tech tree GB Tier V, and the IJN Tier VIII ? or have they vanished into the bermuda triangle of WG cyber matrix. -
Note : This was meant for the WoWP forum, not here. 1. Level or +1 matchmaking only 2. Smaller teams sometimes if necessary (as in WoWs) 3. Daily containers for XP (as in WoWs) with free consumabkes etc. 4. Rampage & Historical mode again 5. Lend lease to try out new tanks 6. Liberate MY hard grinded "FREE" XP with credits !!! (this is so pay to win atm) 7. More flags eg. Scotland, Union of South Africa ( WWI, WWII, Korea), etc. & Commonwealth branch / nation 8. Skill based matchmaking formula based on Campaigns achieved, recent Wn, and other stats, number of medals & ribbons earned 9. AI secondaries; ie ai machine guns , more air strikes, anti tank mines, fortress cannons (as in WoWs) 10. Server for lower ping and higher fps for AFRICA (!?) on EU client (same time zone) 11. Scenario battles PvE Co-Op as in WoWs. Like all other MMO and games, A single global account; not separated regional sub accounts. and / orAbility to transfer / merge account from another location if relocating, especially Premiums etc.

Researchd ship & XP un-researched if sold for next ship & XP vanishes?
SamuraiShakaViking replied to SamuraiShakaViking's question in Q&A Section
Thank you all, and thank you WG. I noticed that after you quietly and quickly fixed the problem, you removed my post on the subject on the main forum page; which is fair enough.. just that I wanted to thank and commend you on there too - for fixing this technical issue so speedily. The community deserves to know that WG can resolve issues speedily and " put the customer -first". Thanks again for a great game, and positive helpful forum community. -
Researchd ship & XP un-researched if sold for next ship & XP vanishes?
SamuraiShakaViking posted a question in Q&A Section
If you own a ship and have grinded up to the next ship in the tree, and sell the ship for the port to buy the next ship, is the previous (sold) ship' research researched/owned status and xp supposed to vanish and revert to an 'un-researched' ship with xp and upgrades removed? This confusing for WoWT or WoWp players as if you sell a vehicle, it remains "researched" and previously "owned" , you can buy it back for credits at any time . and its xp remains on the vehicle (even shown in the tech tree..) -

THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR HELP! :) i AM very PLEASED TO REPORT THAT SINCE REPORTING THIS ON THESE FORUMS, there was an interlude of time when I could not access my account or launch the game... AND I THINK - IN LARGE PART WITH YOUR GUYS' HELP - somebody at WG HAVE SUDDENLY GONE IN AND QUIETLY REPAIRED THE PROBLEM... (Although I heard nothing back from support itself, a technical team at WG seemed to quietly directly intervene to address the issue and put the customer first). Spasiba, efxharisto! The bellerephon now appears at last, the orion is back from the depths, researched and re-buyable, and the XP is available for the duke.. as it should be. A huge shout out thank you to you ALL who advised me and assisted, for your concern, interest , effort, time, and tips. "Leave no man behind!" approach! True marines. my faith in WoWs is restored and being part of a positive mutually supportive community is reinforced. My disappointment has turned to happiness. A strong community and positive mutual support, advice, cooperation and assistance is like an unsinkable ship's crew. And Thank you WG for such a great game. It shows that when the community and WG collaborate on a win-win solution things happen and all benefit.''' Cudos to the community on here, and to WG, with gratitude. "To divide & conquer is sound. Lost at sea... for all those in peril on the sea
SamuraiShakaViking replied to SamuraiShakaViking's topic in General Discussion
Thanks for the advice and tips... yeah usually I do research the next ship b4 selling , but murphy's law, in this case i had played long and late and was working on grinding the low tier pan asian or russian specials, needing a bridge-over port , some credits or modules or something, so didnt think twice, confident i guess, i could always get it later as had always been the case in WoT and WoWp. Whats weird though is that the orion reverted to a completely unresearched state, as if i'd never owned and played it, and the xp vanished too. Then later I found the same on the Myoko too. -

Researchd ship & XP un-researched if sold for next ship & XP vanishes?
SamuraiShakaViking replied to SamuraiShakaViking's question in Q&A Section
no, the orion and duke both appear in the tech tree (not the bellerophon though, when the GB bb's released i got given the orion (not the bellerophon) as i've researched the GB cruisers i guess?).. but they are now unresearched and have no xp attached. so i cannot even research the orion without using free xp to start, since there is no bellerophon to begin with. -

Do we get to keep french BBs when they become 100% available?
SamuraiShakaViking replied to Daggerz's question in Q&A Section
I hope this stays that way... some community contributors have indicated that they are, um "soup-son appetizers" rentals to try out before the release of the entire line, which has 2b grinded up. -
I have a SEA account, but am now in EU time zone and server. They will not transfer even at least my premium ships bought, let alone captains or signals. Why can they not transfer or merge the accounts if you re-locate to a different zone and time zone, as most modern games and MMO's just have one global account and not separated regions. Then you can play anywhere in the world in the time and location you are based at that juncture.... They can still target regions with marketing and sales etc. In fact I bet this would rake in more money, than the divided regional game. Yet this is the info age of global supa highway globalization... isn't it? This should be a global MMO, especially as its now on steam, with servers all over the world (hello Africa WG??) , YET only one account ( as they in fact advertise and claim on the home page hehe. Unity.

Please bring back the important weekly commemoration of real historical veteran naval battles calendar and weekly missions, it was such an awesome feature in 2017 and you learn so much about real naval history, and your ships, even made you want to get a premium sometimes.. it motivated and enhanced gameplay and the weekly rewards were an incentive. Also the calendars were awesome. It added substace and meaning, almost a storyline to the game experience which is now lacking.

and please include SEA server team, their missions and premium sales are very dynamic and innovative and cheape than EU!

Hunt for Bismarck campaign ended 2 hours earlier than advertsed at 07:00 am (utc+2), not at 09:00 am as stated.I bought Admiral Edition of HMS Hood for Euro 99.- and several premium loot boxes, in order to complete campaign in timeI stayed up all night of my birthday specially to finish collection of badges and campaign.due to work/travel i was unable to have opportunity to finish earlier and tried to finish the remaining missions before 09:00 (utc+2).Suddenly campaign stopped 2 hour early at 07:00 (utc+2) instead of 09:00?? for 'server maintenance' how can there be server maintenance scheduled to conflict with a ongoing campaign. Do you see the problem there? This clash could have been avoided. This internal issue should not be responsibility of customers. the Bismarck campaign & collection which was 'interrupted' by "scheduled" maintenance which clashed and coincided due to poor planning of WG interrupting with customers finishing the campaign and collection by the printed advertised promised published time. This is fair and ethical issue for player and customer and of course it can be solved ; all problems can be. i would like to please thus escalate this from support to management in order to receive an explanation from WG EU management for WHY an advertised and published deadline by Wargaming was not adhered to and complied with. How can you break the rules? This is surely cheating.. Explain how this error, ineptitude or mis-coordination can occur as the community has a right to know, and perhaps you can avoid similar faux-pas in future hopefully. . It is misleading and false information which disrespects your player base, customers and community and also undermines the credibility and integrity of WG . This will be the explanation the community contributors and content makers will be given by me as the WG 1. excuse not to honour a time obligation as you have admitted was a mistake and error you made and are responsible for, and 2. act powerless and impotent to assist or support the player/customer/client in any way. This issue can be managed , and should be, as your entire community is affected by how you handle these situations. I have spent too much money with WG to just leave it and forget it, as you broke the trust and integrity and promises that were made and given. If support wont do anything, escalate to management, perhaps they are less powerless to do anything about breaking their own rules? You have had so much bad press recently, now you want even more it would seem.. I suggest a manager check this out before another storm in a tea cup becomes a huge hornets nest in the gaming community websites and channels for such a flagrant breach of your own game rules and handling thereof. -

Its astonishing but not surprising that a minority on here actually think in their minds and logic that this sort of practice is ethical, moral and fair on principle. Perhaps It says a lot about WG games and gamers, random "team" games and why so many drop it. -

hey you are right, man, its just a game, and im a workaholic, and have to play when i can play, even if i get carried away by the marketing of sales bundles with my hard earned cash to relax and finish stuff in the few hours i get. and if I and others missed completing the badge collection and / or getting the free bismarck is is kinda tough i guess. Hey even WG make mistakes, even with OPM, and if they say it ends at 09:00 hrs. , but then their server maintenance (actually the latest patch) started two hours earlier, I guess its just too bad so sad, we only human, and they are a multinational multi billion for profit IT corporation, and if some vodka apparatchik IT geek mixes up their times , and again are unable to sync their advertized missions/events, with their server patching. Somebody, buy them a ship's clock to get shp-shape, ... in our navy, if u screwed up by 2 hours you would be dismissed to a desk job, which is what I guess they try to do. My real frustration was with "support" who admitted they couldnt give customer care even if they wanted to, if u read their replies its so incredulous as to be hilarious. Its all cool, many other games out there, and most of my friends have stopped playing anyway, guess its time to depend more free time on other games. Just took out my frustration because support did nothing except admit they had screwed up, but also admitted they were powerless ("our hands are tied"), so the whole support thing is just window dressing bling for suckers like me that work hard, game when we can, and so waste money on trying t have fun with boats; so i was disappointed for having wasted my birthday free time on finishing the campaign which I must say had been so awesome and was a load of fun and well designed and just as u get to the finish line, well the goal posts shift and the playing field aint so level suddenly. But hats off to the designers and the concept; the maritime historian & strategist in me genuinely enjoyed it, so credit to you concept guys. Sorry the schedulers / planning and support department comrades let you down in this case. Life isn't fair, neither do plans work in war, or politics. I guess i played russian roulette with the Hood and in this case, lost the Bismarck. Its the hand your'e dealt, deal with it, right? Everythings a gamble, big money gaming (e-sports) no different, and u gotta just chill, roll with the flow, u just the little guy, the working man, how does a statistic, a flea, matter to the bb elephant in the room of the ivory tower silo. 'Twas fun while it lasted alas. So, back to my desk job! -

yeah their marketing PR communications with the community could be so much better and improved as a dialogue win - win. u'd think marketing would let u know in advance!? after all its pure profit income for them.. now one is discouraged from buying anything instead knowing u cannot obtain complete collection of ships. was gonna buy some models, t shirts and suff too, but now not so enthusiastic as was before -

I want to cry! It is extremely unfair for collectors, especially of Japan line ships, if you were away / unavailable on those specific dates (I am in Africa). I have bought nearly all the japanese premium ships to complete collection. Due to popular demand for collectors, I do hope this becomes available for purchase out of fairness to those who could not access the forum or shop on those dates. My japanese line in port is now incomplete and this is disappointing as a collector of marine ships in this game for military history and tactics.
