Carriers, Research Bureau, Puerto Rico... next?

Unfortunately they have demonstrated that they don't really care... (unless it can make immediate cash profit)

    Battlecruisers

Trying a constructive suggestion. ( Borrowing from NoZoups recommendations. Split lines in relevant tech trees, to make battlecruisers a grindable branch line. There's no shortage of historical actual real ships for wows time frame. (why need NTC research bureau wot (waste of time) and presume subs will be new line too. Bizarre to regress (backwards) with NTC , when they should grow expand and modernise the game horizontal ly. And improve quality of life, eg UI issues etc Be cool to try bring back some pertinent historical relevance too. (Ref to drachinifel) If they gonna shake up the entire game further, even as cv rework becomes "years of the cv" re- rework of a reworked rework, might as well shake rattle n roll it up further good n proper... That's all folks.

    IJN power creep? .. again

The IJN is so power creep.. forgotten, ignored again: To make a balanced game, you need balanced nations, as well as ships. Especially as the game evolves dynamically, and 'metas' change. (This neglect ruined wot). We all want future sustainability and survivability for this game. Which entails that it needs to grow and expand, retain it's fun factor, maintain balancing, while also consolidating from regions to globalized worldwide option like other mmo on steam and attracting new playerbase and increasing profitability for r&d and design. The CV rework, the new premiums, especially at tier 9, and recent ranked and clan battles show how veteran ships of the game are neglected, and certain nations given token minor buffs , if any, just to keep up with balanced development and meta memes. Eg the very weak flak on most IJN ships in the now CV dominated games is very evident.. I. Azuma, weakest of all the recent tier 9 battle cruisers.. ijn cruiser flavour is torps. Azuma gets no torps. All other battle cruisers got their nation flavour gimmicks (radar, secondaries, anti air, speed boost, reload boost, etc. Azuma gets no torps, paper armour, and no gimmicks. Why? If azuma was built she would have had torps and radar and 18 inch guns. Ywt, Eg. Georgia even gets a speed boost. Now even Benham, a USA destroyer gets better torps than the ijn... so then Why would anyone buy the azuma as well as or instead of an Alaska or stalingrad or j b??? (a bundle of tier 9s is now in the shop for $300). II. Ibuki is example , it has been so power crept by new tier 9s, it's a joke. Even premiums such as mutsu, kii, kaga (lower tier planes against tier x?) and even icon mikasa are so out of balance with present game. Kii the most expensive tier viii premium , at least gets torps and some flak, .. but still struggles against newer premiums or even tirpitz. III. There are no "brother special captains" for ijn and pan Asia. Why??? Only white males. IV (Is this racial bias, similar to ignoring / sidelining an entire continent, Africa, from this product.). Segregation? V There have been no special ijn arcs or events , even as there is now a second French event arc.. even though the French navy is hardly famous at all... Japan could be the biggest lucrative market for this game, together with pan Asian countries, Korea, Taiwan, india. But if their ships are essentially continuously nerfed and under powered, wg lose the profits and playerbase. Also collaborate more with manga and anime , but include guys anime too. Constructive suggestion: keep all nations balanced, enrich their flavors equally. If u do buff a ship to bring it up to date, with new ships, buff it properly. Since wg claim the game isn't historical simulator, they seem to try make some ships historical, and others op, early 1940s ships against 1945 to 1960 ships. Start a global world wide server, which players can access from different regions including africa to be able to play 24/7/365 (as in some clan wars,) so you have a proper global mmo like any other international mmo on steam. End regional separation when you could have a shared global playerbase. It works well on steam.. Also for collectors and naval players, bring back some legend ships (which may have been op b4, but are now no longer, such as kamikaze variants,) on special offers. Offer the collectors flags, special camps, or event badges etc in the armory.or to absorb "free xp". Why not use already developed operations and campaigns permanently, so that new players , or veterans who missed them, can benefit from hunt for Bismarck, or dunkirk op. Dynamo for example. Why not re use such well developed and designed campaigns, (eg instead of regrinding lines in the NtC?) Space battles and arms race is an awesome game mode. Why not make it available permanently.? Re events, instead of endless new currencies and tokens , make a single currency or token, which players can carry over to future events, if there's nothing they can get, or nothing they want in a particular event. There's so much you wg already have to build on, so much wg has already developed and designed, which can be expanded, that things such as the NYC are so unnecessary and superfluous. Stop the gambling loot crates, especially to skip a new tech tree. It's entirely unfair and discriminatory. Fix matchmaking, especially at tier viii. This also ruined wot. Include your global playerbase in queue ,on a global server option, instead of segregating regions, like any steam mmo. But please give the IJN some TLC and update and modernize the balance of Asia with the dynamics and meta memes of the game. And try remember and embrace the forgotten continent. Africa. They actually do have PCs and consoles, fiber, and 5g is rolling out soon. Several fiber connectivity to the EU including via Cyprus.. same time zone as EU. Why ignore this potential? Make a global worldwide server soon. And grow.

    CV Rework Discussion

Could be a new game mode? Merge wowp with wows, in an optional game mode with land and CV aviation! Wowp has great planes and good mechanics. This would beat war thunder. Autopilot pls fix.

    Is Cleveland still playable?

    It definitely needs a heal
  6. SamuraiShakaViking

premiums in need of a rework or buff ?

IJN; Mikasa.. obvious Mutsu totally power crept Kii armour- less squishy, better torps Kaga better tier planes Harekaze .. various Musashi some defensive flak Azuma needs torps with reload booster (all other tier 9 battle cruiser got all their flavors and consumable gimmicks, eg Alaska, jb, krohnstadt etc.). Bring back kamikaze for collectors , in new game meta no longer op.

    Friemds List & channels

The in game client does not open the friends list, or channels and groups, even favourites. Is there a solution? I accidentally pressed a key which opened the contact list, but do not know which key it was. I cannot contact any of my contacts or favourites, or follow channels or groups in game Is the contact list available on the website? or only in game client?

    Friemds List & channels

I guess its a bug in the ui but my chat and friend list just do not work any longer. it used to in previous client patches... Thus I do k now HOW to use it and HOW its SUPPOSED to work. http://wiki.wargaming.net/en/Ship:Port#Chat_Interface doesn't solve the issue Perhaps its just my client and nobody else has this ui issue. I think that ones friendlist should be accessible on the website, maybe under account management or a friends tab It would help to coordinate divisions, and play time for clan battles etc. when you are not in the client (eg at work) This QOL improvement ie access on the site portal, or even on the forum, not just the client, would help involve more team play and div play ..( since discord etc does not have my entire friendlist)

RESULTS – Battle of the Philippine Sea

great idea, with potential, just needs QOL improvements, and an in game update/news widget and a less 'grindy' feel to it, especially for more competitive gamers, without at least some indicator of how the sides are actually performing.. but great to get those tier ships out again, on the anniversary of the actual event arc. Thiese kind of in-game arcs, parallel to the other evnents and challenges, is a fun way to retain new playees, and attract new players too. The increasing importance of real world naval history, and kind of 'simulating' those actual battles is a huge attractor for many naval history oriented players. WoWs and WG consistent focus on incorporating a lot of real world warship history keeps many working professionals , (who afford to buy those hugely over priced bundles :-O) with disposable leisure actual gaming time , and limited; who allocate an hour or two when they can to be immersed in this intriguing product. Beside the historians, there are ofc also the collectors, naval maritime oriented who play for medals and rare ships, and quite easily pay to, which hopefully WG would reward in WoWs now and then, (as they do in Wot and WoWp) so they can fill the gaps of the rare unavailable ships, which they missed getting, but have a port slot berth ready in their port to mak it complete. B4 the internet they would labouriously build model ships, and go to board gaming... now they have WoWs... but every now and then they should get the chance to get that 'missing link' ship... But cudos for a different in game dynamic mode as such, great potential , can only get even better, hope it does.. so thanks WG & wd!

    Discount on tech tree ships

oh yeah clan discount. I miss the reasonably regular % off to Tier VIII, then 30% etc. sales, for a line, or nation. Like top of the tree in WoT, its a good incentive. or the occasional premium shop offering the same discounts too.' Those regular sales would definitely attract and retain (desperately needed) new players to the dwindling playerbases. As would permitting Africa to play the game fairly; fastest growing youth pop, and tech infrastructure. Africa is full of ex-pats; eg. peacekeepers, ngo's, interns, volunteers, and ,any other typical gamer. , And Africa is right next to WG in Cyprus!?!?!. Egypt with its 80million plus pop., Nigeria with nearly 200 million (and a very developed tech/comms/ IT sector Id volunteer to WG to assist them get this vibrant gaming continent to fair access to the EU, to resolve the latency issue , or better yet new global servers, like any other global MMO.. Im alarmed how long you have to wait in queue, quite a lot more often often , since the cv "rework", especially at low and medium tiers... with grinding the USSR bb's and for the British cv's. It definitely shows not enough active game community growth, retention and expansion... the game is getting very obviously top heavy , hence the extra expensive high tier premiums. The discount on port slots is good, but should be available for credits; so counterproductive to limit a (especially new) players expansion , and make it pay to play to get slots and dismount modules too, which should also be possible with credits. New players need every incentive and QOL boosts and benefits. Im try to recruit some of my friends who left Wot then WoWs. But I have so little incentives to get them interested again. Especially with the (im)balanced CV "re-work" , World of Warplanes meta now. The vertical top heavy direction on the PC mode is obviously not a sustainable game nor business model. Healthy growth and expansion is only possible by consistently attracting and retaining more players snowballing on a more exponential basis. And there are two very easy and quick and simple and inexpensive ways of doing so...

    Discount on tech tree ships

Hello, I cannot find the mention of the duration of the discount on all tech tree ships... nor on when the discount on port slots, and also starting a clan start and end,,,, I guess it is somewhere there on the news page, but I couldn't find it though. My searches here didn"t either. Is there an in game client that shows detail on special , eg the discount on starting a clan & its duration. In general the UI is very sketchy in english for some of us. Also there have always been buggy the friends list and groups and channels, was always very frustrating. but now since this update I cannot open friend list at all.... Im trying to 'recruit' my friends who left the game to return, trying to find incentives to persuade them, eg better UI and QOL improvements. Please advise where to check out for these discount incentives and their duration, Thanks

    CV Rework Discussion

#boycottwgpremium i say chaps i've stopped paying for premium time. it actually feels liberating. (Oh btw Wg and some of your cc's thanks 4 at least being honest for a change and telling rts gamers wer'e just no longer welcome in wg products and to so politely invite us to best just leave , as a cc put it.... is very charming for your 3 long loyal year veteran rts playerbase & your never failing to disappoint helpfulness or is it hopelessness, and (un)failing support of the community supporting you).

    CV Rework Discussion

WG choose to blunder to blunder, faux-pas to faux pas, controversy to controversy: bomb strafe & torpedo their own games' communities; and their / our games. You publically acknowledge in your worldwide exclusive scoop that the WoWs playerbase is diminishing / eroding. Well that was clear already. Same as Tanks and Wowp. At least you admit that now at last. So then You blame your game CV mechanics failure on the CV players; and on enthusiasm and skill of rts gamers, many whom are / were 2-3 year CV veteran players, (those few still remaining in your shrinking playerbase). Many of whom are actually military veterans. Several of whom are incapacitated or disabled from serving their countries and can only play your game in your admirably handicapped friendly (soon to be removed?) rts mode. (just ref Jingles latest replays & commentaries). Are they to be exiled now too? So rts & cv players, (like preferential tank drivers) caused your games problems, essentially because they are TOO clever or too overly skilled ? This you imply. They bother to learn and practice persevere and improve over three years. Because they not lazy? Because they like a challenge? Disinformatsiya. \\ Take your over priced US$60+ enterprise cv, your most expensive premium until your new OP Stalingrad. . Using tier VII planes in your Tier X game bias? All the Ter VIII-X anti air flak . Only a few understand the challenge. As Churchill said, "never before have so many owed so much to so few". If most are too lazy or incompetent to bother to persevere and learn rts cv play, with their paranoid stat padding and win rate obsession that only gives frustration as its reward over a fun and stimulating gaming experience. Maybe you want a pacified docile playerbase that just pays its to-win tax roubles?

    Suggestions thread

Constructive suggestions: Orient your game organically to BALANCE. EQUALITY. FUN FACTOR. FRATERNITY. ACCESSIBLITY. FAIRNESS. - Globalize the game, one account, many servers (as falsely advertised on wg.net homepage) per any steam or mp mmo. -Let friends play together worldwide. (this will also eradicate the 'queue time wait excuse) - LET AFRICA into your game. - Balance the playing field: same tier matchmaking, reduce the advantage bias for entrenched ('veteran') players and level the playing field to attract and retain new player, growing and expanding the playerbase. - Boosts new and casual players with more effective faster incentives, and catch-up perks and boosts to at least have a fair and reasonable incentive and manner to catch up and balance the numerous uphill unfair obstacles and disadvantages that they have to deal with and grind against. - Stop discrimination against new & casual players, against entire regions eg include Africa in a globalized game, - Enable players to linking pre-existing "one global unified account" to steam ASAP. - Max the fun factor & rewards & satisfaction and min the grind, frustration & disappointment - Make events and campaigns, which are so well planned and designed and FUN accessible to all especially new players, retain & keep them in-game available and accessible for all to earn and complete.. (also: why remove and waste all that time and money and design). - Great events and campaigns took many resources to design and develop. Keep them in the game. Permanently accessible. - If some could get a free Hindenburg or Richelieu, then at least give all (again especially new players) the equal chance to obtain - Being denied access or the chance to do previous campaigns or missions alienates and dis-incentivises many new players, or casual players where real life prevents completing a mission, event, campaign or collection. - Your working wealthy players tend to be interested in military history. any build ship models. So give collectors the chance to obtain removed historical ships from time to time. - Make free xp really free and enable the option to invest free xp into developing captains as in wot & wowp (so new & casual players can level the playing field against 19 point captains faster and have more fun with more skills). - Dont limit daily xp containers, so that most players just disconnect after 2000 (or maybe sometimes 12500xp), reducing playing pop in queues. Keep players in game with more container rewards. The free container for xp reward is the best advantage of WoWs, an incentive and goal to play. a win win for all, why not maximize it. (this will also eradicate the 'queue time wait excuse as players stay in game more.) - Fix CV's & fast - New & different maps - Scenario op's are successful and popular. Add More modes, PvE & PvP (eg skirmishes and team games and legionnaires in wot) - Enable legionnaires in clan wars - Stop the OP powa creep and premium / pay2win bias by properly rebalancing and sufficiently buffing out dated or power crept ships, (most especially where premiums totally powa creep and render redundant normal ships of the line tree). Equalize. Balance. Fun.Grow. Expand
  17. Not 2 mention WoT... WG sure know how to disappoint... (few examples; Year of CV, Grf Zeppelin, CV rework, (basically abandoning for nearly 2 years now ;a whole class of ships, 25% of the game (the most important / decisive both historically and in-game), and the abadoned cv players, awesome events like Go Navy (which could and should be permanent - because its FUN and dynamic and (supposed to be rewarding )) ; then the unbelievable let-down minimal time to spend and use up all your remaining tokens - terrible disappointment after such a cool event, away a day, because RL happens, and your tokens are gone for credits..., The simple stupidity of duplicates in collections, a pay2win gimmick making u buy containers IRONICALLY SO-CALLED "FREE" XP ... a euphemistic misnomer (hard earned xp that is called free should be free, not pay2win). But hey money and cash avoids the grind, and the grind just gets more frustrating the more u try; so just pay up. Making Captain Campaigns tier VIII and above only excludes all new players, WHY? maybe it gets the to BUY premium prematurely. Preventing / excluding the option to invest the "free or premium or elite ships xp' you grind out, from going toward building up your captains (at least in Wot & WoWs u DO have this FAIR option avaiable ) is unfair and a solution to expedite crew training (as mentioned, a popular and fair game mechanic already deployed in Wot and Wowp. Low point captains are the biggest hindrance and deterrent to new and casual players . Being low tier with a 6 or even ten point captain vs. a high tier 19 point captain with an OP cash bought "free" xp OP power creep premium, in 2 tier matchmaking, with legendary mods etc etc. is totally "fair and reasonable and balanced" WG, right?. Why complain, and get frustrated? power creep OP tier9 premiums "free" (after spending cash to buy XP) WoWP 2.5 nerfing ALL planes, even premiums, excluding existing WoWs players from steam, (bizarre ???) The gambling lottery with the french bb's. Its discriminatory that some players, especially purchasers of containers, just get free Tier 7 & Tier VIII bbs. This counterproductive gamble quick buck stunt alienates fair players and is unreasonable and elitist segregating and dividing the playerbase and community into regions when all successful MMO's are globalized, (18th century divide and rule elitism) completely ignoring Africa entirely (discrimination? all-white captains except asia) , "support" & help being clueless and impotent, list goes on.. I cannot figure an answer for WHY WG dont try properly to attract or keep a new, and 4 that matter, casual, playerbase. They have a good product, the designers and programmers, coders and researchers are great. The support vids are all good. The attention to detail in the game, the incredible graphics and effects. Designing for low end pc's - a big advantage for wg . Such great efforts and assets and resources at WG disposal. They try so much for their part.. yet These divisions of WG are being undermined and let down by their management and business model / sales / marketing and game mechanics developers. This is the tragedy. (meanwhile war thunder and other move ahead eroding all Wgs games new playerbase. But the management division, community support and help, and business model developers are stubbornly stuck in the 1980's. They stubbornly dont understand Fun over frustration. Yet thats the simple solution. Min max fun over frustration. eg same tier match making. Simple. encouraging and equipping and accelerating newbies' and noobs (casual players. Make provision for Real Life and allow time for tremendous events like go navy to have adequate time to reap rewards, not rush end it into anti climactic disappointments. Lopsided rofl stomp games a la WoT. Imbalanced matchmaking. Inequality between new, recent and casual players and 3 year veterans with 19 skill captains and more and more perks and bonuses and other advantages over both new or casual players. Making it impossible for gaming friends from any other thriving MMO in different countries to play together by discriminating regions, Dividing the playerbase into regions , thus minimizing it and excluding global gamers. Excluding black Africa , the bridge between east and west, (bigger than eu and na combined, some of the biggest network companies in the world, with faster growing economies and a leapfrog tech culture). Obsession with stats and stat padding. default hostile Reactionary patronizing and condescending attitude to the players / clients / customers / community by both WG and the 'veteran beta testers and statpadder unicums (apparatchik attitude) in a zero-sum us vs them confrontational cynical disposition who wanna own the game 4 themselves. How dare new or casual players dare question or suggest constructive change or improvements to 'their game' and the in the crumbling establishment? ( - just watch the armchair admiral comments following this post... and about the "OP" ) Short term pay2win profits and powa-creep and the greed fora quick buck/rouble , do not grow and expand a game organically. The top heavy 'directorate of the proletariat' politburo model of monopoly capitalism is an unviable oligarchy of apparatchiks. And the buck stop here.? WoT active playerbase is eroding fast, and WoWp 2.5 has collapsed (again), mostly to WT and other globalized modern user friendly dynamic FUN balanced growing and expanding games. These are realities WG is in denial about. Without satisfying existing players and attracting encouraging and boosting more new players, and globalizing for the 21 century , implosion tends to loom. A sustainable game development model; a sustainable viable profit and business model? A good business model is inclusive and global and profits from growth and expansion nurtured by positive progress and improvements in game development which in turn profits / rewards attracts a positive playerbase and community with a fun ( not frustrating / loaded / grindy roflstomp) experience where everybody is essentially on the same side (not reactionary, patronizing, condescending, cynical hostile/ combative / discriminatory / judgemental). I have invited and even tried the 'could-be-so good dynamic of refer-a-friend' for 4-5 of my regular MP / MMO gaming friends (at least those who are lucky enough to happen to be in the same segregated region and time zone per WG region segregation) . ALL have quit / politely refuse to play WG games now out of frustration. The MMO/MP friend who introduced me to WG himself has quit. The people in clans i have joined keep quitting the game. And we all want to play with our friends around the world, not just in our exclusive "region" which discriminates and excludes friends studying / working /travelling / living elsewhere. so rather spend our limited game time on WG, we play modern MP MMOs that are globalized, international and non discriminatory. Steam makes this easy. Modern gaming in the 21 century IT age isnt stuck back inn the 1980s or mindset of divide and rule serfdom. The sustainably profitable long term business planning of the popular MMOs are to dynamically grow, expand and improve, attract and expand the playerbase globally, embrace all, make new player feel welcome AND able to catch-up and compete asap, minimize frustration and the serfdom of endless grind and rather max fun and reward, max balance and fairness and limit power creep and pay2win . Nobody wit Real Life has the time to waste their limited gaming time on a game that they cannot play together with their worldwide gaming friends, play endless grind against odds heavily loaded against them, in imbalanced matchmaking , with by two tier up entrenched players with numerous unfair advantages (19 point captains, OP powa creep vehicles, access to better upgrades or modules, with legendary modules too and Campaign Captains), access to rewards denied any new players because very cool well designed campaigns / events are denied new players, eg free Bismarcks, or free legendary captains). And then u get criticised for your stats. And duplicitous and contradictory answers to help / support tickets. Then you check out and compare the plethora of other FUN, FAIR, FREE, BALANCED, WELCOMING, GLOBALIZED, GROWING mp mmo games you could spend your limited game time and if so choose cash on. WoWp, fell off out of this race. WoT is dsintegrating and eroding now. . Can they save WoWs? The solutions are clear and simple , easy and free. - Globalize the game, one account, many servers (as falsely advertised on wg.net homepage) per any steam or mp mmo. Let friends play together worldwide. (this wil also eradicate the 'queue time wait excuse) - Balance the playing field: same tier matchmaking, reduce the advantage bias for enrenched ('veteran') players and level the playing field to attract and retain new player, growing and expanding the playerbase. - Boosts new and casual players to at least have a fair and reasonable incentive and manner to catch up and balance the numerous uphill unfair disadvantages they have to deal with - Stop discrimination against new & casual players, against entire regions eg include Africa in a globalized game, against players linking pre-existing accounts to steam. - Max the fun factor & rewards & satisfaction and min the grind, frustration & disappointment - Make events and campaigns accessible to all especially new players. - Great events and campaigns took many resources to design and develop. Keep them in the game. - Make free xp really free and enable the option to invest free xp into developing captains. - Dont limit daily xp containers, so that players disconnect after 2000 or 12500xp, reducing playing pop in queues. Keep players in game with more containers. - Fix CV's & fast - New & different maps - Scenario op's are successful and popular. Add More modes, PvE & PvP (eg skirmishes and team games in wot) - Stop the OP powa creep and premium / pay2win bias by buffing out dated or power crept ships, (most especially where premiums totally powa creep and render redundant normal ships of the line tree).

Do I have to use my tokens before the end of Go Navy?

The Go Navy was such a good event, it should even be permanent. Thanks and cudos to WG. However, I must say it is a terrible disappointmennt that the tokens and containers etc just disappear when the event itself ends without giving some time too use up any remaining tokens or get some last containers (say from the other team). Especially when the server goes down for the last few hours!?!? . (This happened with the Hunt for Bismarck event too). WG: sometimes real life happens and people need a chance to spend the rewards from an event, even if you end the event (which you shouldnt as it was such a cool event and why couldnt it be permanent to have two teams as an extra fun factor to add content fun and value to the game. Also WG, you lost a lot of money not keeping the e containers for sale longer to complete stuff especially after the event or arc ends.

  21. disappointing feeble and mediocre, both gamescom and WG anniv.events from marketing. Any surprises tho?
  22. This is to mention a possible BUG (?) with the new Patch and the client. This may need a hot-fix minipatch, as I know its not just me. I know others are having these issues or see team mates (and probably report them); notably in ranked but also sometimes randoms and especially the first game with a new ship. Please let WG know, as it may not be the players fault when they do not connect at launch. Obviously this is crucial in ranked especially. Please speak up instead of just reporting any player who obviously clearly didnt load in. For many games now, the new patch game client does finish the queing and loading but then DOES NOT complete the load in, the circle just keeps spinning, while you can even hear the game going on. Many times I am failing to load in to the game from the in game client load-in screen even atfter the quieing and game has been loaded, and you hear the battle start, but you don't get into the game, the circle just keeps spinning. (Other times times the client sudddenly freezes mid game or just after the start; with unusual lag spikes.) Also I noticed This happens mostly to destroyers and at higher tiers, and often in ranked. At least 1-2 players fail to connect into the game. I have noticed some other players with the same issue; when I do get in a game; there is often a dd that seems to also only connect / load in late or never. Especially in Ranked mode. I did not have this issue b4 the patch; and nothing has changed my side. When this happens...: I always try to re-boot the client and get back into the game, but either have the same problem, the game loads, then the circle keeps spinning or else the reboot takes to long and the game is over... so then I get the new discipline punishment. Because of new game client load in bugs / issues. I have been banned and turned pink, for the client not letting me in the game. This is VERY frustrating. (I completely support the nes game discipline rules; but I think you should have made provision for context and reasons. CHeck the player's record.. surely an easy algorithm? Can you not pick up when the client fails to load in a player(s) or freezes, and that the player tried to re-connect?? Being "disciplined" for something that is NOT your fault , but a game issue or other player (such as a ship sailing into torps launched 8km away and visible for that long, even if you warn them). BTW : SUGGESTION: Please add Teamwork and assist/encourage team building and improved comms; command notifications & hot keys such as "LAUNCHING TORPS", "DEPLOYING HYDRO / RADAR NOW", or "SETTING SMOKE SCREEN" or "Launching Plane"" etc and a target designating flashing bulls eye on a grid on the minimap (just like in WOT for spgs ) for planned target zone for torps or bombs or even smoke and hydro. (there may be other better wording for different classes. ( as opposed to asking for a smoke screen). FYI I have never purposefully quit a game ever in wows or wot, ( I usually watch the to the end , even if I am sunk...) . Sometimes REAL LIFE actually does happen such as the doorbell rings or an important phone call, but even then I always try finish the game first!

NEW PATCH: POSSIBLE BUG? Especially Ranked. Unfair new "DISCIPLINE"

What mods? I have no mods and never used mods in wows My machine exceeds the specs by far I didnt have this issue b4 this last patch I checked wiith my iSP and my connection is fine and normal Nothing changed except the new patch update It happened again and i turned pink again after just a single game guess i'll sit out ranked and this weeks events etc. time for some (far more cpu/gpu demanding) mp RTS grand strategy games on steam that work consistently [At least players can play mp mmo's with friends and potential friends from any region and any time zone around the world, like most MMOs and mp games in the info age IT globalization of the modern 21 century, not wg's weird out dated regional gulag segregation and discrimination , so i cannot play wows with other japanese or asian canadian friends let alone gamers in Africa or middle east like i can any other MP game on steam or paradox etc . How did steam even allow wg to add wows to steam with such bizarre restrictions, especially its discrimination against a huge available market in Africa and the Middle East.]

    Golden Week: Great Event

Just some positive feedback for WG devs and also PR / Marketing & Community divisions, which is often lacking on the forums perhaps. I think the whole Golden Week event and the accompanying rewards and discounts are awesome . Thank you and well done. This is a great idea and great implementation of cool content. It benefits especially new players, but also veterans too; and its both skill stimulating and also more FUN!. Its very encouraging and motivating and makes one want to keep playing even after getting the 12500 second crate. (usually i stop after 12,500 xp , but not when there's events like this that last a week, not just 2-3 days on the weekend only. (ofc some of us can only play more after work during the week, and are busy/away/out on weekends; so getting objectives and more to play for during week days is really VERYwelcome. Please bring it on more!! :)) I am always impressed by the historical links in WoWs and also the incredible programming and IT design goes into this game. The beauty of the ships themselves. The ambience of the maps and playing environment. And that 30 players from many countries can all participate together in a game!, Even some I know even on low spec machines. And all in a free to play game! And its extra awesome when events and challenges promote historical and naval events and campaigns. You also honour veterans, and promote awareness of naval history and events that really affected and even changed our course of history. Its fascinating to learn so much and be able to feel immersed into participating in this. The historical department do a great job; and even explain it all in videos etc. The campaigns and missions and so on too are commendable. Dare I say "We want more!" in future hehe ;). This is very promising for the direction and future of the game imho Well done, thank you, and please keep up the good work. Honto ni arigatou!
