    Fires needs a heavy nerf

    War Gaming, you must balance this game... a cruiser shouldnt be able to win in a battle against a Battleship just by setting him on fire constantly.. This game is a great game, but it needs a bit more realism to get more balance. Battleships were built to be the pinnacle of all ships and were built to be immune to any other ship but another Battleship, aka it should shrug off a cruisers HE and AP. Cruisers should avoid contact with Battleships, why? because as it is now its game breakingly bad. First of all, steel dont burn, second of all, nothing vital that was flammable could be reached by HE, even if it was what you call "IFHE", so fires should do [edited]all, maybe like 10HP every 20 seconds, not as it is now, several hundred hp per 10 seconds.

    Free world mate, I may post whatever I want. Also, as reply to whoever said that my AA shouldnt shoot down more than 3-6% of a CV's planes, then increase the number of planes drastically. Yamato, which has crappy AA in the game for some reason, it took over 400 planes irl to overwhelm her powerful AA. Take a more realistic game like Battlestations Pacific and wham, a CV sending all he planes for a lone Yamato will say bye bye to her planes because the planes just cant get close.

    Balance Changes

    Everyone are on about DD's nerft on here, forget that insignificant change. Battleships(BB) were built for one thing mainly IRL, and should represent that in game: Long range support and supremacy to all other ship classes except other BB's and CV's. And now we're talking about BB's of the class that are in tier's 8-10, Wargaming, you should make BB's more realistically represented. Their Secondaries are the same caliber as tier 7-8 Cruiser main guns, and in real life they had the same range and accuracy, why? Because they were designed to deal with smaller targets like a Cruiser or Destroyer, and could do so rather easily. Would it make the game more fun if BB secondaries could handily scrap a Cruiser or Destroyer that got within range? YES! We who play this game wants as much realism as possible. Speaking of which, fire's does too much damage, steel does not burn and nothing flammable or vital to the ship that could burn was above deck, and shells smaller than 250mm could not do any significant damage to a BB of that size. Giving a Battleship thinner armor will not make us BB players take the point and charge, taking the hits for our allied cruisers and destroyers, as the repair costs are high if we die. So less armor will make us rather stay at long range and shoot whatever target we see and can shoot. Battleships were fearsome in real life, if a Cruiser or Destroyer saw one in real life, they turned tails, why? Because they knew that if they stayed in range of it, they would die after one or two direct hits NO MATTER WHERE it hit, due to he size of the shell. Also, Iowa was a CV escort, due to her AA that shot down whole squadrons effortlessly with her massive AA power. Yet in game, she cant even deal with a squadron of 5 planes... Do you see whats wrong? Make this game more realistic and youll stop getting complaints from all over.

    Battleships are getting worse and worse! If we cant tank shells by aiming our bow towards the enemy, how are we supposed to be taking fire for our allied ships? We are already constantly set on fire which does so much damage ist unrealistic, as steel does NOT burn. And nothing vital that could burn is above deck on BB's.. If anything, Battleships needs a massive buff on their AA, Secondaries and fire resistance.
