I've been noticing this for a loooong time but, whenever I select a plane via hotkeys or clicking, sometimes (not always but quite often) the game drop a frame or 2, invalidating my selection in the process, leading me to give an order to the previous squad, which is annoying because I then have to fix everything. When I draw a selection box it does this everytime. Is it only me ? It's not my PC being too weak or anything like that because when playing something else it works like a charm at constant 60 fps. Anybody ?

T10 are intresting because that's where you encounter most top players. One more TB squad isn't really magic but you sometime meet very strong opponents and I guess that's how you progress.

Why is it so hard for people to understand that strike involves as much teamplay as air sup ? It's just that in one of those setup you suffer the game, and in the other one you have a direct influence on what's going on. Play AS if you like it but stop prentend it's any competitive because 1 game out of 4 you can empty a noob's hangar. -

I don't care anymore about this. I sued to be pissed off but in the end it doesn't bring anything. I keep improving my play because anyway that's my favorite gameplay in this game. Babies cried for their CV nerfs and they get them, but when cries about unkillable hunkered BBs and stealth HE sniper will intensifies, they will miss us and WG will roll out the red carpet for us. In the meantime, solid middle finger. -
Hi, So I'm not talking about German BB citadels, but German cruisers. I noticed that I had a hard time scoring citadels on German cruisers past the Nurnberg. I then looked on the armour model and noticed that their citadel is really deep under water. So I'm wondering if it's worth it to aim for citadel on German cruisers with BB. Isn't it better to aim for mid hull and hope for not too much overpens ?

How is it possible that people having high tier ship don't know yet that you're not supposed to avoid damages when torps are already in the water ? Maybe don't let planes go straight to all 3 AA bubbles without having to turn even a slightly bit and drop at your perfect side ?

T5 and T5 they're really potent. It's 6-7 where CVs are total crap, and given the MM at higher tier you can get fucked too.

Yeah quite a powerspike for CVs at tier 9. Still not OP Imho, It's just that some ship are really lacking of AA such as Izumo. Iowa or FdG can totally avoid most of a T9 CV damages. However it takes some minimap and WASD hax that's why you see even those BBs taking 60k and sticky flooding so often. -
Not much to say. Preferably drop from the front of the ship so you spend less time in AA, then it's a matter of getting used to it. Of course maximize your flood / fire effect by using your TBs and DBs desynced. US BB repair duration is 20, 15 for Germans and 10 for Japanese, afaik 5 for anything else.

Nothing new, try now to send your squad one by one to an AA built Iowa and the same thing will happen. Not to mention that one of this Taiho have T8 planes. This video's level of dishonesty is too damn high.

Yeah l already met Pape once since I bought my Hakuryu. And tbh it was quite good as I didn't get shredded as I expected to be. But yeah he was in a division and there was an other division of the same clan in game, they steamrolled quite easily. I'm really happy that I bought Hakuryu because now I'm often meeting good CV players such as Pape, Thisheep or AnEpicDude and it'll surely force me to step up !

Well, Evasive Maneuver has returned to its useless state And I don't really get how DE could affect CVs. +2% fire chance is really nothing in regard to the >120% fire chance of all bomb type. Why picking it ? Really sad that it doesn't bring anything exciting except the 4pts max skills. Also, is there a release date for these updated commandes ? -

Fiery takeoff was intresting before, but this ... roflmao this really looks like some kind of Christmas prank, or primary school game desing workshop xD On the other hand, the new Evasive Maneuver looks so strong ! Even if the drawback is really significant, 40% lower detectability before droping means that a super reactive BB will barely have the time to move his rudder before torps are in water. 30% lower speed is a huge debuff aswell, but with the use of CE becoming possible on carriers with this new captain there are chances that we can get really abusive placement so this drawback become less of an issue. I think planes concealment is the biggest stat to carriers, even more important that speed, so giving such a huge concealment buff ... well. We'll see. -
There's no strategy on this map. The luckiest team regarding spawns usually steamroll the other, end of the story. I think it's even worse than Ocean, where a miraculous teamwide coordination (that happens 1 game out of 50) shows up. But on Strait, if you got bad spawns you're doomed anyway.

I've read that this setup is the best one and tried it today. I haven't my 15pts captain yet but I'm still very disapointed. I don't really get the point of this setup since 1 midway squad can deal with 2 Hak squad and you still have crapammo, as it was already the case with Taiho vs Essex. I'm not very experienced with it yet so I ask you experienced folks if it's worth the time learning this setup because it doesn't seems usefull at all. Or maybe the 15pts captain is absolutly mandatory ?

Well, I have decent micro management and multitasking but, even with a correct micro it's a bit stupid. My fighters die so hard versus his that I don't have the time to take care of his strike wing, which is kinda the goal of playing such a setup. Of course I can keep my other squads in backup to strafe in the last moment but it isn't enough to kill them and anyway, then I'll have no ammos to deal with strike wings which sucks.

Will, since speed boost is 5% and not the 10% I remembered I think I'll go for HPs.
