  1. Served my Penitence with 5 Co-Op battles in my Derpski and did amazingly well with a 18 kill/death ratio averaging 3 BB kills per match, LOL!
  2. But.......I even said please, Twice!!!! Tough crowd today. I'd literally just gone pink when I posted so I haven't started my "5 games of shame" yet. I may just go co-op for them and hide in the corner until it's over, it's only co-op
  3. I was in a T9 game a while back (forgot I had this pic) and after 15 minutes the game ended with each side only sinking 3 ships while the rest sat at max range sniping the whole match. I stopped playing T8+ for a long time after that match and went back to T5-7 for some actual fun.

After playing on the PT for a week solid (over 80 games) I came back to the Live server and back to my old faithful Kirov which, to be fair, has taken a bit of a back seat to my current favourite the Molotov recently. Just to show me why I still love this ship my very first match was a T4-5 match on the Solomon Islands map and, whilst it started slow, came to an epic conclusion at B with dual side torpedo runs against 2 BB's and ended with me loving the Kirov once again!     Sound Improvements

    Consumables - The radar sound is fine but the hydro sound is pretty poor, the 2 examples above are what I'd prefer to hear. Ocean - Love the whale sound but I guess I'm in a minority there! Bombs - Couldn't really tell the difference to be honest but I'm normally dodging for my life at that point which is probably why. Other sounds - Again, not really noticed much/any difference.

    Yeap, how annoying is it to see 4 pens and 1 overpen but only get 940 damage (form the overpen)

    Shell Normalization

    Atago & New Orleans were just getting constant overpens yesterday against broadside ships at <10km or , even worse, Pen's but with no damage caused (seriously WTF?). However today I'm getting pens and citadels just fine after the 53mb update to the PT server. Don't know if its related or coincidence but it's great to be able to get Pen's back!

    Post-Battle Stat improvement

    Tanking is shown as your "actual" damage, which I can understand, but I can't what benefit there is to being shown "potential" damage. I don't care if the enemy shot 100 million HP worth of "potential" damage at me, only what actually hit me. I can understand WG might want to use Potential vs Actual damage in their own stats but I'm not sure why the player needs to see that. Anyway, Spotting is fantastic, well done WG!

    General Feedback

    After finally completing WG's ridiculous "10 missions before you've got the doubloons required to really start testing" awfulness I've started replying in the numerous PT threads. However, a few things I noticed which aren't mentioned are as follows - Bots - These seem to be using AP rounds much more often than before, has there been an AI logic tweak? (routes are still far too rigid anyway) Tirptiz - During my 10 mission grind in the Fuso I found I was regularly Citadelling the Tirpitz at 8-15km which I've never been able to do before. Has anything changed or is that just RNGesus shining down on me (about 8 citadels in 10 games - Tirpitz is popular right now!)?

    Post-Battle Stat improvement

    I understand the requirement for "spotting" and think it's a great addition but what is the purpose for the "max potential damage of things fired at you" stat which is also now given? I don't care if enemy ships fired shells/torps with a potential damage total of 228K because what I care about is what actually hit me and that info is already provided. Can you/anyone explain the need for "max potential damage" to me please?

    Reworked Maps

    Fault Line - Still love this map, looks fantastic and the changes feel very minor outside of the aesthetic ones. Two Brothers - Oh dear! The middle channel is now much wider and straighter with only a very slight bend in the middle making middle charges much more easy to spot and defend against. Additionally, each outside "corner" of the 2 main islands has been chopped down in height drastically leaving no cover at all for anything higher than a DD which give you much clearer firing lanes but much less cover. Some of the other small islands have their height/shape also changed to give less cover to, again, anything higher than a DD. Opinion - I think the change to the middle is terrible and I can not understand the thinking behoind what was a great section of the map. I think the "idea" to lower the outside corners of each main island is good but the execution is extremely poor as all four corners look like someone has just chopped the 3D mesh with a knife with no flow between the lowered section and the original terrain. The lower small islands make it much more difficult to escape behind when you're being focussed which isn't a positive for me. Pic Added to show the areas mentions above -

I've stopped playing my Kirov which is my 2nd favourite ship with over 100 matches because of the amount of T7 games I now end up in which, when I actually kept count was 70% with T6 at 20% and T5 at 10% from 10 games. It's just not "fun" being bottom tier so many MANY times and if it's not "fun" then why should I play it? If WG wanted to protect lower tiers then they should give preferencial MM based on Progress levels, not Ship tiers i.e. Level 1-10 is +/-1 and level 11-12+ is normal +/-2 MM'ing.

    Sorry for the moan but I'm already not enjoying this PT anywhere near as much as 0.5.9's PT. To steal from another poster my reasons are almost identical - 1) Limited Resources - you receive a mere 1000 Doubloons, which will last you for exactly 2 captain retrainings ( one retraining costs 500 Doubloons) - Now I have to play 10 times before I can win enough doubloons to actually start testing (captain skill's) or swap ships which has now become pointless because of point 2 below 2) Limited to T8 - you don't get to test the changes in ships you would like to sail, because above T8, XP requirements are a joke, good luck gathering over 700.000 XP for T9 and about 900.000 XP for T10 - Why do this? There are no T6-8 specific issues that you need testing so I don't understand the need to force people to stick to T6-8 and prevent people testing out T9-10 ships (always my favourite part) in the PT? 3) False Advertising - It was indicated on the World of Warships site that you would get to test drive the new german BBs, which clearly isn't happening. How can the test 'prepare us' for german BBs if we haven't got a chance to try them? Nice bait, WG - Not bothered about the lack of German BB TBH. Yes it would have been nice and yes the advertising led people to believe they'd be getting early access but personally I'm happy to wait to they go live on the Live server, just the RU cruiser line. 4) Changes Too Minor - there is almost no point on testing, changes are insignificant, at least from my perspective. A few maps get a visual facelift, a few sounds added, colourblind support. What shall I test? If I am not colourblind, then too bad, I guess? - Absolutely this! The changes are so minor that I wonder what the actual point of this particular PT is. Normalisation seems to be the biggest change but isn't a massive change and the rest of the GUI changes didn't need a whole PT to test out. In summary the PT is where we, the public, get an early look at the next patch and "help" WG out by testing it. In return for our work WG usually let us play around with lots of money, doubloons, captain skills and ships etc and everyone's happy. So why on earth would WG change that formula to something which is deliberately antagonising to those people who give their free time to help WG out by making it much less fun than any other PT by including "grind" missions before we can actually start the testing for them. I genuinely don't understand the logic and, sadly, I don't think I'll spend my time on this PT and instead will see how the 0.5.11 PT looks before deciding whether to bother with PT's again. Sorry WG!

    *EDIT* - FIX IN THE BUG SECTION - you have to change the language to another language (ie Russian/German etc) to allow the client to download a 13mb "extra" patch after the main download has finished and then keep the client in that language to play so English is Broken right now! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Incorrect data error here too! Seriously WG, can you just get the basics right like "making sure the patch works" before uploading it?

    Some Co-Op Matchmaker issues (didn't know which thread to use) - All matches played around 7pm GMT so plenty of humans about 2 Humans and 6 Bots vs 8 Bots leads to a massive defeat - Seven Tier 9 ships in an Assault Mode which I thought was limited to T4-8 -
