At T4 I kept the Clemson, then from T6-9 it's a varied mix of USN, IJN, RN, Ru cruisers and BB's with an occasional DD thrown in, mainly for the different Ops that are now around rather than for the gameplay.

During a very disappointing run in my Missouri (3 games out of 4 were <65k damage but the other was 148k - go figure) I saw @aboomination is his Harugumo on the Two Brothers map. After spawning in the North we initially headed to the A Cap along with 2 others but, after seeing just a Tirpitz and nothing else, we both quickly realised that the majority of the bots (2x DD, 1 Zao, 1x Missouri) were charging up the middle where we headed them off although, with Aboomination behind me, I realised that the 33kt speed of the Missouri meant that I was stopping him from torping so I slammed on the brakes, let him fly right by and drop his torps for a good kill on the Missouri. -
Vanguard and Dreadnought are in the shop...

Dreadnought - Other than a port queen I'm not really sure just how many people would actually play T3 enough to justify the bundle price. Maybe once it's on sale alone it'll be more worth while. Vanguard - Watched Flamu's video and it looks like an interesting ship with accurate but low calibre guns which is great for a cruiser killer however it sits at T8 where it'll face T10 BB's in 50%+ of it's matches and thats a huge problem considering the armour scheme and high citadel. -

I absolutely hate it and I said it should NEVER had made it into the game. Flambasses latest "compilation" video shows why perfectly, he spent about 2-3 minutes in a cyclone near the end where an enemy was spotted by a closer team mate while Flambass was 10km away in his Zao and he was able to repeatedly get HE hits, set fires etc without ever seeing the ship ONLY due to the "circle of crap" whilst in an earlier clip in the same video he was citadelling ships that he couldn't see, again just based on the circle of crap. This allows you to do something you should NOT be able to do and uses a tool to do so making it, in my opinion only apparently, a cheat that WG should remove immediately. However, WG feel differently and are happy to say it's perfectly legal and causes ZERO problems! Video here - Citadel using Circle of Crap at 4min, at 7min 35 and HE ZAo at 11mins - -

Only WG knows! Having done some programming in a past life I';d suggest that it should be a simple fix with I would guess two lines of code changed from an =1 to an =0. -

Everyone makes mistakes occasionally, however WG deciding to use a pre-selected "use doubloons" option rather than a "click to use in-game money" one isn't very good, especially when we know that WG have already changed the consumables "use doubloons" option to a default of "use in-game money" which shows WG recognise there is an issue. -
I've seen example 1 a few times as the bots "anti-collision" AI means that, should a few bots paths cross they stop to avoid a collision which starts to effect the other bots around them too, although it's normally 4-5 ships at most but I've seen a few rare examples of all 8 doing it! Example 2 - I've not seen that at all in co-op so that "might" be new or just a glitch?

It just Juanx, he's like that There was talk of making the option to use doubloons "non-ticked" as a default a few patches back, so when you add a new camo/signal/consumable you would to actively click £yes, use in-game currency" to prevent things like your issue. -

If you look at your ship symbol in the bottom left the side selected shows up as a green semi-circle. The side is selected using the O button too as the website said it was the "tilde" key initially. -

Right, I've been polite, now I'm pissed off - WG - HOW IN THE AM I SUPPOSED TO DO TESTING WHEN HUMAN PLAYERS CAN KILL ME WITHIN 6 MINS??????????? HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO GIVE YOU ANY FEEDBACK WHEN I'M DEAD!!!! A Worcester player drove straight up the middle of the map untouched by anyone and nuked me within 6 minutes of the game starting. This ISN'T PVP people, it's CV TESTING so if I get killed in 6 minutes I can't TEST anything and WG should KNOW that this level of stupid will ruin ANY testing they try. Am I saying "Don't Kill The CV" - NO, NOT AT ALL but let them have say 12-15 minutes in-game to actually test things before you do it, please. Anyway, I've uninstalled the test, its a waste of time for me and I wish I'd never wasted 23gb of my internet to DL it. Edited for politeness now I've calmed down20 minutes later - TST still uninstalled though, life's too short! -

First two games as a new participant with no prior experience and I'm very disappointed for a few reasons which almost stop me even want to test any further (specific ones at the bottom), however here's a general list of everything I found in 2 matches and I'm sorry but it's mostly negative. Jumping straight into Random without having a few games in Co-Op to learn the new aiming skills is awful. 1st game I did 2500 damage, 2nd game 3500 damage. Plane control is horrifically bad with planes randomly swinging around 45' with even the slightest touch of a key (ideal for an analogue console controller though, hmmmmm) Aiming is very poor, all aimpoints before the attack is nstarted are nowhere near where the attack reticle then shows up Dive Bomber reticle "disappears" during attack - because is now right under the bloody plane instead of the 1km infront of you that is was before you pressed attack and, as a new participant, nowhere does it tell you this Once in attack the awful plane handling makes it very VERY difficult to hit anything smaller than a BB Torp planes need 5-6km of distance before pressing attack other wise the torp angle stays spread out by the time you drop and in 5-6km a human WILL dodge! Fighters are good to drop in the path of enemies and do a good job defending with a good idea of where they are due to the icon. Ship control is a nightmare when I have to stop an attack just to press my Def AA button or stop a fire or steer to avoid an enemy. If my fat fingers press "F" ONE MORE BLOODY TIME when pressing "D" and recall by planes in the middle of an attack I'm going to mail my smashed keyboard to WG - Spread the bloody Keys out so a mistake CAN NOT BE MADE! Gameplay is, to me at least, very dull and boring - who actually wants to fly for 15 minutes and only do 2500 damage????? AA damage seems very random, I don't see these "Gaps" in the Flak that are supposed to be visible and you can use to slightly avoid damage, where are they? The bots just ram each other which is a waste. So what makes me want to stop after only two games then? Lack of ANY instructions before being thrown in with human t10 players - I've had ZERO time to learn the controls, the aiming systems etc before trying to hit humans with dodging skills. the awful plane handling making even "simple" attack runs a a hellish nightmare of "A" "D" key presses watching my planes lurch about like a drunk Uncle at a wedding. If I can't aim right (because I don't know how to yet) and the planes control system is so poor that, even if I could aim right I still can't control the planes, then why would I continue to try this frustrating mode for say 5hrs+ of trying to master something which , to me, is just broken. If just the plane control (left/right) was better it would help massively. I'll try, and mean really try for at least a total of 10 games so I can give some better feedback but right now, it's not fun, it's not good to play and I genuinely don't want to waste my time with the CV's in this condition but I'll try. -

No probs, it's a WG issue where they "hide" news in a section that no-one really uses and its frustrating that they won't give it more visibility! -
As long as they are actually doing a "restart" (i.e. select the icon then exit) and not just closing and reopening Game Centre then it will pop up

I know this was also posted on the extremely well hidden and never viewed "News and Announcements" section on here too. Something they might consider looking into is merging the Gameplay section (which has the vast majority of views) and the News as Stickies or similar. -
I had the same issue and had to Close Game Centre using the Icon by the Clock (right click and select EXIT) and it took 3 attempts of "exit - start" before it showed up but it will show up eventually.

[Halloween] - Ah the weekend, how much can one person have when their team is pants on head retarded Had a very good match, great team, lots of comms about spotting Castle and catapults, team made sure to achieve all of these before sinking Rasputin and I did OK too. So you'd think that, even if someone playing the game for the very first time (barrcuda in pic above) knows what to do, then people who've played the Op a few times MUST be better right?.........................RIGHT?????? I had a 3 star win where, and I'm not making this up, we failed to sink 3 ships in 1 minute - and when I see my flank has cleaned up OK and look at the other flank, all I see is alive ships and torps flying around hitting nothing from 3-4km away! The amount of teams with players who seem to have ZERO idea how to fire a torpedo is absolutely mind-blowing!!!!! -

The best turn rate (degrees per second) was tested to be between 1/2 to 3/4 throttle by one of the WG CC's (or LittleWhiteMouse on US forum?), which makes zero sense IRL but as it's a game so it's allowed -

I really like the Huanghe fro Co-Op/PvE but I could see how, in the PvP meta, it'd struggle hard!

[Co-Op] - A few more 4 kill hauls including a very valuable lesson for PvP players in Co-Op from my Harugamo game - I charged into the B cap with the FdG furiously pinging the "Get Back" F-Key while he turned away from the spawn point to get more "sniping distance".....in the FdG I believe that at least 2/3 of the PvP players who are currently doing their missions in "easy" Co-Op mode are utterly clueless to the fact that........CO-OP IS NOT PvP...................and trying to use the tactics learnt in PvP, such as running away and hiding, against the bots rarely works well, as the FdG's score shows. -

Wow, it looks like WG need to read their own rules again so I'm surprised that I'm going to have to point them to the new rules - Asked for 9 ships got told only 5 can be done every 6 months. @MrConway - it might be an idea to inform your customer service staff when something like this changes! -

I went through my "Inventory" looking at the Type 9 Premium Camos I have and matching them to ships I don't have any more and I've got six low tier ships, a T5, T6 and a T7 I've sold!!! Mikasa Emden Tachibana Konig Albert Vampire Campbeltown Marblehead Arizona Hood So I've asked for those back (no Idea why I sold these!) and used the "In-Game Goods" part of Customer Services to request the Premium Ship Restoration.
