Only played this Op well with Cruisers (Fiji, Atlanta, Helena etc) as the single Lyon game I played was a mess but I found that a decent AA ship like the Helena/Atlanta makes a huge difference, especially if properly AA specc'd (inc Man AA) but their armour means they are unlikely to last to the end due to the constant targeting by the extremely accurate bots. In fact, having just got the Boise in the Santa set that might become my new Hermes ship just due to the Heal it gets helping out in the last 2-3 minutes, even if the AA is shorter ranged.

Got 60 Mega boxes, 2x 20 and then a further 20 a few hours later which will be my limit this time - I felt like I got my monies worth out of the first 40 crates I got after getting 9 new ships, 50K coal & 12k Doubloons plus the camos/signals and wished I'd stopped there as the RNG gods really stung me with that last 20 crates with just 1 ship and 15x 20 Streamer camos with some signals so, while I could get more, I just won't. Ship wise I got the following - Roma Gascogne Kii Prince Eugen Duke of York Haida <-------- The only ship from the single 20 crate selection Perth T-61 Mutsu

Credit sinks should be something cosmetic like 50M for Coloured Tracers on a ship (not a captain) or an over-sized national flag (x2 the current size) etc rather than anything which gives a game boost.

I've done this a few years now and I'm always surprised at the gifts that everyday forumites are willing to donate!

I'd love too drop in and view but I'm unable to watch the live streams due to life/work etc and can only catch up with YouTube videos at a later date. Is there any chance of "something" for those, like me, who aren't able to view the live streams but do catch up watching Youtube, similar to the current contest on the shorter videos? Thanks.

I agree that you can have some bad BB games where aggressive DD's wipe out lots of bot too quickly (even made a post about it last week) but I find that, for me, those games are a rarity and I usually get 100k+ games much more often than the 30k ones, in fact I think my current damage record is 282k in the Missouri. However since the start of the RN missions and the influx of PvP players into Co-Op I think its harder to get as many really good games in BB's as I would have before the PvP influx. Watching midget porn is never a waste of time

The Op's do pay out well but only if you get a 4-5 star win and thats just not going to happen every match with Random players, especially when you see how poor some players are, as shown in my post above. When you get a 4 star win (as shown below) you can make much more than Co-Op numbers but it's the consistency thats missing with Ops, where as I KNOW that I will make 2K-3K Free XP for a 5-7 minute Co-Op game, every game, without that figure dropping to <500XP for 20 minutes of work because we lose an Op. My issue is Location, I'm working in Saudi with a fairly unreliable internet connection meaning frequent drop-outs and odd available hours but I'll add you and see how it goes.

I think I'll be going to go for the Musashi first using Free XP preferably but Coal if I don't get there soon enough, and we'll see what coal/steel gifts the Xmas missions bring with Snowflakes etc. Once again, thanks for all your help! I built up my 300M "nest egg" of credits in PvP before swapping to Co-Op and 2 years later I'm still at 300M but I regularly go up/down 50-75M when new ships come out as I buy/sell ships and then I have to play Missouri/Tirpitz more often on top of the usual Premium time bonus, or scenarios which pay well (see below). I use a fair old bunch of "whale signals" but if I could match with team's who weren't mouth-breathers I would play scenarios much more but a 2 star win on a 20 min Scenario (shown below) gets me LESS Free XP than three 5-7 minute Co-Op games so I really need to get a 4-5 star win (10K+ free XP) which, because of "amazing" teams, just isn't possible consistently enough. I mean there's still *edited* who bring none IFHE, Non-AA specc'd ships (looking at you Helena) into this mode or Fiji's who just rush into the first bots and get torped. No amount of face-palming can ever get me enough Free XP with players like that!

[Co-Op] - Had a really fun game in my Montana where I started at B and swept up the Asashio to start with, then the following who were all heading to C to chase our Cossack - the Moskva, then the Charles Martel and the Montana before swinging back around to kill the CV. A special shout-out to @xXWarAngelXx who did a fantastic job supporting me and using the guns on the Asashio very well. and then this pile of dog for a game. It's games like this that make me put the game away for weeks at a time I get so disgusted! A 5 minute game and I fired 20 shells total (1 three turret salvo and 1 both front turrets salvo), because WG couldn't program bot logic if their life depended on it. On the map Shatter the bots in the North on my side of the map all ploughed into the islands getting stuck, so our 3x DD force (inc a T6 Fail Div Fubuki) had easy pickings sinking all 4, just leaving the "slower" BB's to mop up anything left, which wasn't much but I did get a single long range kill secure to at least shoot something this match even if my secondaries did hit a beached DD.

[Co-Op] - Playing earlier enough that you're the only human can have it's advantages at times Plus a really fun Brawl in my Massa with my IFHE secondaries absolutely wrecking a Cleveland while I brawled a Richelieu at C before heading off to hunt the CV.

Yeahhhhh, failing to see a USP for this ship TBH, other than folks on the US side buying for Name reasons.

[Co-Op] - Last game of the night and I took out my Worcestershershire as I'd seen a TX CV player in two games so guessed he was going into a third and my Worcestershershire just loves Tx CV games so it was just blind luck that I didn't get in a game with him but had a TX Bot CV instead.. It turned out to be 3 humans who all played their parts very well with some great comms between me and the Gearing. I spawned by A and provided AA and anti-DD cover to A-B Caps for the Gearing at A and the Hindy at B before doing 90K damage to the Yamato as I kept 4 fires on him. Then I solo capped A whilst supporting B and getting some nice fires on the GK at C who was pushing to B , all while keeping up my AA support. After the last attacking Bot died I headed north and farmed a few more planes before the gearing also got into gun range of the CV so I ended up sinking it rather than fully de-planing it (my plan). The game rewarded me quite well I thought!

IIRC the breakdown of Free XP isn't shown unlike the breakdown of normal XP so you can't see which Free XP flags you fly (or what they earn you) from the details results screen.

Hi all, Mixed in with all the normal Black Friday stuff I remembered that WG usually sell a "full shop pack" or similar and this year is no exception. You get 67 ships and Slots for around €550 (£487.66 to me) but you also get the full doubloon price for any duplicates which may make this interesting for a few folk. For myself as a whale already, I have about 50+ of these anyway so I'd just be spending all that money on duplicate Doubloons as the ones I don't have are either low tier (T2-3) or the T6-8 BB's which I don't want//like (European/IJN BB's) so wouldn't buy anyway. Anyone actually interested in this collection? It's a great way to ensure that you only get "un-buyable" ships if you get a Super Container in the future too! For the Tirpitz B vs Massa B it's gun size as neither ship has been out long enough for potatoes to have a big enough effect yet. For original Tirpitz vs Original Massa, the Tirpitz is one of the oldest Premiums and it's been around for a long time and had no other T8 BB competition so it had a constant stream of poor/mediocre players using it where as Massa is relatively new and in a T8 BB flooded shop so there's less chance of uber potatoes picking it and, TBH, there are a lot more "better" players around now than 3 years ago.

Scenario Bots have a different AI than Co-Op Bots so Scenario bots CAN use smoke properly to sit and shoot whilst Co-Op bots will just drop and sail through.

Yeap, unlike PvP which can be quite difficult, Co-Op is just too easy (95%+ Win Rates) to be given a good amount of XP because if WG did that, everyone would swap to Co-Op. I've got around over 3K Co-Op games and it's just something you have to deal with,m although being able to play twice the number of games in a set time vs PvP also increases the XP you can earn too.
