The thing with CVs is that all they do is punish stupid plays. A stupid play might be going too deep in the cap, entering a cap too early, pushing into enemy AA bubbles, being isolated from any AA. They just punish it more extreme than any other class but they also can't do it as frequently as others. People have to adapt when playing against a CV and as there are not many CV games I can understand that most people feel helpless when playing against those and that they don't know what to do. But there are ways to counter a CV, many ways. A single cruiser can ruin a CVs life, a def AA can make him not being able to attack for the next 5 minutes, any ship can be AA skilled, as a CV player we can't know that! With every attack we risk losing our planes. Every attack is a risk.
