Try the russian DDs, they have good guns. I also think the satelite shooting guns of the US DDs is ridicilous. I also took Cleveland out for a spin for the first time since ive started playing this game, and what the heck? Cant remember it being so bad

Well, strange if a Hakyruyu laughs at a BB with 100 AA rating, since the Kutuzov with 90 AA laughs at every CV in the game (with manual AA ofcourse) My record is around 50 planes from a tier X CV. You select plane at 10 km, start firing at 7,5 ish, deleted at 3-4 km.... And i frequently see battles where BBs shoot down a TON of planes

I must say, there are some very strange things going on sometimes. Playing Mogami for example, i can be perfectly angled towards BB, a few degrees to one side, and still i eat citadels. Playing the Khabarovsk, i hear those AP shells bounce all the time...

How about giving those IJN dds guns? I mean, maybe a little slower firing rate than others, and slower traverse since they are torpedoboats, but something atleast. I can remember like 50 times an IJN would have sunk me when i was on low health if they have had guns, and not be forced to run away

I would like to see lower AA on battleships, if there is going to be a point in playing an AA cruiser. I started the CV lines a while ago, but i dont even play them. Did quite well with the lowest tiers, but seeing what my Kutuzov for example does with enemy planes, im not even interessted in going higher. If there was only AA cruisers who had this sick AA, it would have been fine imo. But BBs with 100 AA rating makes AA cruiser kind of pointless?

Well, cheaters will be wherever its possible. Im so used to it i dont even care at all. I have personally perma-banned thousands of accounts in Counter-Strike over the years, starting around 2002, so i guess i know a little about it. But, no one really cared, as in important tournaments and clanmatches everyone was recorded etc, so it wasnt an issue. Here however, there is not such a thing, the most "serious" games are just another random battle in witch in every other e-sport game would be seen as just training/warmup and utterly unserious. Thats why i earlier in several posts have stated i dont care at all about MM / Faildivisions etc, becouse its just unserious fun training / warmup. But, after playing this game for a couple of months now, i realize random battles and stats-whoring is really the most serious of buisness as there is no real competive alternative over here. Ofcourse, you got teambattles but that too is a little meh for most people. So therefore im willing to change my mind a little about MM / Faildivisions, as random battles is " the real deal". I personally dont care, but i understand others do

While i would like to agree from a freedom of choise perspective, im afraid we will see certain ships only at those various modes/maps. A very exagerated example would be useless russian dds on domination, and useless IJN dds on standard battles. Ofcource, this isnt the case in most cirkumstances, but it will be a trend i believe. I like the mixture as it is

I agree with Luchs1978, you are responsible when torping from behind NO MATTER WHAT. You say you got a perfect torping possibility, no you dont, there are friendlies ahead...

Met Eternus_Damnation in his Hindenburg while i sailed Khabarovsk, exhanged a few shots along with words. We won though, nothing special about that game. Then later, i met Papedipupi in his Hakyuru or whatever, i sailed the same ship (Khaba). Now, that game, i really would have preferred bots on my team. (If they aint programmed to be scared of him too ) The second game starts, chat goes "I give up" "Cant do anything here" "Bye" etc.... I spawned close to a Des Moines, who started game by pressing "S". OH MY LORD how i hate defaitism, MM whines etc. I pressed "W", got beaten up a little, gave a little beating back, got to sink a BB before Papedipupi dropped an exelent torp on me without difficulty + bombs, and sank me. Guess we lost. I have also met a lot of names i recognize here, but those 2 are from last 2 days.

I dont have a problem with it. I dont division in this game, since i know no one who plays it. And i will never be the one complaining if we have a lower tiered ship on the team. What i DO complain about however, is borderhuggers, no matter the tier. Wish they gave those who touch borders for a extended period forced autopilot with full speed straight to nearest cap.

I have to agree on the marketing thing. I am fairly new to this game (played 3-4 months), and im very interessted in history, wargames, ships etc. But i had never heard of this game until just random luck surfing the internet. I generaly play all kinds of history-based games, especially paradox titles. When i discovered this, i instantly liked it, and bought premium. I have no problem paying for a game i like.

You had the misfortune of meeting me in my first day with the Khabarovsk In that one, i can only feel sorry for you, your teammates screaming "is it cruiser or DD!!??" So yep, if your day has been like this..... Had my share of bad teams today also, one in particular, two enemies killed, both by me.... Another one i had, was a smartass in a kagero who insisted in sailing in 3rd line and torping between allies, instead of spotting for the team. ofcourse he hit me, and his excuse was that he was "doing base defense"

How about loosing team explodes / sinks when game is over? Then people will realize how futile it is to border hug, cause you WILL sink and pay full repairs if you dont win

Strange, i have never ever in this game had a feeling were "i know im screwed if i met this ship". Such defaitism. Looking at your BB stats, you are very good in both those mentioned ships, with not alot of differnt dmg. Im sure both you and i know you would find a way to get that Iowa to the bottom now and then? Fire HE a few times to make him think he can show his side etc? Dont even mention me and BBs, i cant play them. I might want to relearn them now though with some more exp under my belt. i started off with BBs, as most newbies probably. Im sure even bots with 100% equal skill will beat that iowa time to time

Example C is nasty in a random game, ill give you that. How to counter? Push into the caps, brute force the tiny boats away. Ofcourse in a random battle, not everyone will fancy such strategy, and will rather zigzag in fear near a border whole game, so its probably a loss in a random battle if you play solo. Example B not so much. You have a little better ships than the 3 enemy BBs, but thats it. The best players wins this one, its like a small handicap. Example A I do find the team with most gunboats a favorite over torpedoboats, but thats purely what i think im seeing on average. The Iowa vs tirpitz is less important than the DD struggle (spotting,capping, being annoying etc). Btw, i will not say Tirpitzes are screwed vs Iowas either, but the types of players who typically plays him (yes tirpitz is him) might be My point is: Rather than tiers wich i generally dont care about, id like balanced classes. Equal amount of DDs should be a priority for the MM, so i guess we kind of agree on your point.

And i do see there is certain ships you will have a big disadvantage with meeting higher tiered ships, and that it might be frustrating for alot of people. I will suggest you try out the Kiev if you havent, i got it a few days ago, and it really doesnt care about tiers, ships, radars, storms or atomic bombs. Dont go consealment, and keep your AA ON I also really liked that you said you posted this in the middle of the night, maybe not fully tought-trough and perphaps after a string of losses. Not everyone would.
